This property is the perfect spot to reboot! The home is charming, spotless, comfortable, well-appointed, has a great view, and the owner is just so very generous and gracious. It had everything we needed and so much more. We found a surprising number of excellent dining establishments in Waynesville, as well as many, many shops downtown to be explored. There are also many attractions in the area. What a wonderful place to poke around or just relax. Before we left, we were already looking forward to our next visit! Thanks so much, Ms. Aida, for having us!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I can not say enough good things about this property, it was clean and comfortably furnished. Aida was very prompt with any correspondence we had, upon finalization of our stay she supplied me with explicit details about the house and directions to it. The location of the house is centralized to just about anything we wanted to do and the view was just awesome. I have already recommended this property to several people and hope to be able to return again in the near future.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We rented this home for a week and were delighted we had chosen it. It is clean, comfortable and well-appointed. We loved dining on the deck and it was a pleasure to have the scenic view. We used Waynesville as our fixed base and took day trips to Asheville, the Great Smoky Mt. National Park, traveled along the Blue Ridge Parkway and also found some good places to do some road cycling. Historic downtown Waynesville is a fun area to stroll and browse - relaxing. We would definitely book here again, if we planned another trip to the area. The owners were very helpful - we were very pleased with our stay!!Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The place was very clean, had everything you would need. Wonderful view from front porch or couch looking out oversized window. Newly remodeled bathroom was a huge hit with the kids. Close to everything which is important in NC. You can stay on top of a mountain but it takes a while to get anywhere. This place has the view and it's very close to anything you'd want. We hiked different hikes almost everyday and shopped as well. No complaints!!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

We stayed at this house for a week. When we walked into the house we were delighted with the rooms, and the decor. Everything was so clean, the kitchen so well stocked and well maintained. The description of the house was accurate. It was not hard to find. We found it very convient to stores and roads. Aida was very helpful in getting us all set. This was our first experience with VRBO. We hope to stay here again.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed at this property a couple of weeks ago, and thought it was perfect.Everything was very clean and stocked and decorated beautifully. The owner was very nice to talk to when making the arrangments and I received my security deposit back very quickly. I would highly recommend this property. shopping was very close by and we visited ghost town in the sky in Maggie Valley which is not completly open yet but it was very interesting to see the plans they have to reopen.we visited Cherokee and went tubing there and it was lots of fun! The down side of our vacation was when we stopped at a resturant in Cherokee called Little Princess, my friend left her purse there and we were told by the cashier it was not turned in, then there was a family eating there that told us the waitress named Cheryl found it when they sat there and left with it, then the cashier remembered that she found it and said she took it across to the ice creme store. We didnt get the purse back. We did call the police and nothing yet. but cherokee and the show unto these hills was very nice, but I would NOT recommend the LITTLE PRINCESS resturant , it would be nice if people could be honest!!! we went white water rafting at nco in Bryson City and it was Great! We went to the Biltmore and it was beautiful!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Thoroughly enjoyed our week at this mountain home. The house was exceptionally clean and had all the amenities that are needed. We enjoyed Waynesville and all that the mountains have to offer. The accommodation is very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway and made for enjoyable and awe inspiring drives. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond to our emails . . . they made it easy to reserve the accommodation on short notice. Thank you for a wonderful week and hope to return some day.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I were in town to make final arrangements with our builder. We have used two other VRBO properties and an a couple hotels in the Waynesville area. We thoroghly enjoyed this property, it was perfect for our visit. It was convieniently located; just minutes to the center of Waynesville, Walmart and the highway. It has a beautiful view of the mountains. It was too cold to use the deck (January) but we noticed you could hear a stream running below which we look forward to taking advantage of later this year. Plenty of firewood was provided and we enjoyed sitting by the fire both in the evenings and in the morning. Having a garage to pull into was convenient this time of year because there was a chance of snow. The king bed was very comfortable and it was very quiet so we slept really well. The decor was wonderful and the kitchen was well outfitted. I cooked several meals there and was not lacking for anything. Aiada was very helpful and it was nice to talk to her before we arrived. The directions that were provided were very thorough and clear. My Brother-in-Law from the Atlanta area also stayed with us for two nights and was very impresed with the property.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We just returned from spending two weeks in July 2011 at this property. It is exteremly well maintained and conviently located as a base for Western NC visits. It is approximately a 40 minute drive to the Casino at Cherokee and the outdoor play "Unto these Hills". Asheville and Pigeon Forge are easy day trips. Waynesville is a unique NC mountains small town. The downtown is loaded with unique shops, most notably the Mast General Store which is a must visit. Execellent dining is available. There is a tailgate farmers market twice a week in the parking lot of the HART performing theater that is well worth a vist. The house itself is impeccable with all the usual amentities including full bedding, excellent bath towels...etc, and a well maintained gas grill that works perfectly. It is very convenient to a Walmart Super store for grocery shopping and any miscellaneous items you may have forgotten. The owner is a joy to work with in case you have any problems. We didn't but I feel 100% sure she would have responded appropriately. The house decor is very well done. The kitchen has averything any type of cook would need. In fact the condiments and cooking utensils were admirable. We will surely consider this property first for our return trip to Western North Carolina. Posting this review feels a bit like broadcasting the location of your favorite fishing hole. But the property and owner were so nice that the latter deserves an excellent review. While we have visited the mountains of NC many times and feel no reason to elaborate on their self-evident charm and majesty, this was our first experience using VRBO and everything was superlative. The condo was exceptionally clean and well-equipped – to such a degree that we can drastically reduce our packing to just our clothes and few personal items. The setting was ideal for our purposes – a combination of sufficient privacy and a beautiful view but only 7 minutes from a Wal-Mart and central to many of the outdoor activities (waterfalls, hikes, other scenic attraction) that we enjoy doing. The price was such that we hope that we can afford many such getaways to “recharge our batteries” in the future.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I have visited this property twice and was very pleased in working with the owners on scheduling our visit. The house was as advertized and a beautiful place. We were just amazed at how nice and clean and neat everything was. All the kitchen items we needed were there and the beds were comfortable, along with the spacious rooms so we were not crowded. I would suggest this ideal home for anyone wanting a nice quiet get-a-way!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This house was one of the cleanest we have ever rented. It was decorated very nice, and the master bed was just fabulous. The view from the covered front deck was beautiful. The kitchen was very nicely equipped. We cooked outside on the gas grille and ate on the covered porch. It is located in a very nice, quite area. The owner was extremely nice to work with. I would highly recommend this house, and we will definitely stay there again. The house sits on a shaded hillside, and therefore, the temperature was cool and nice for a mid summer stay. The house also has a garage you can put your car in, although we did not use it. This house also has wireless internet, which we used and enjoyed. I highly recommend this house.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
