Our recent stay at your Maui Kamaole condo exceeded our expectations. We found the unit spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. Everything we needed for our stay was provided. The extra touches of orchids and the welcome basket were delightful. Beds were so comfortable and the location so quiet we had the best nights' sleep in a long time. It was more than 20 years since I had been to Maui, but after this visit I will be returning soon.

The Maui Kamaole property is beautiful, serene and perched on one of the nicest landscaped hills in Kihei. This unit was well appointed and very clean, attention to detail is obvious. All the amenities for cooking your own meals are here, you will not be searching for substitutes or rewashing utensils or dishes to finish your recipe. The welcome basket was a great touch for a weary traveler. A bit of coffee to get your morning started and a handful of local snacks very enjoyable. Not to mention some wine to put you to bed. The view from the lanai was amazing; we enjoyed sunsets from here as well as margaritas. Being on the hill gives you that high floor hotel feeling and you are away from the main traffic noise of Kihei Rd.

Recommended for:Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

We had a wonderful stay in your condo; enjoyed it tremendously! Very tastefully decorated, comfy bed, and great view from the balcony. We didn’t use the downstairs bedroom, but we prefer a 2nd floor unit and the additional space. We love Maui Kamaole (this was our 3rd stay) and feel we’ve found our favorite unit. We will recommend your unit to friends/family, and we expect to return ourselves. It truly felt like our home away from home. Can’t thank you enough the opportunity to rent such a beautiful unit – everything was perfect! The welcome basket with wine, cookies and coffee was so appreciated. And the flowers in the unit when we arrived were lovely. I collected them and floated them in bowls in the baths and kitchen for a few days. We also appreciated the beach chairs, unbrella, cooler, boogie board, and towels for the beach. Fun! Everthing we needed was provided. Just remembering our arrival brings a smile…. Wish we were there now. We can’t wait to return.

Great Stay at Maui Kamaole

We stayed here for 2 weeks in Aug '11. We've been going to Maui about once a year (and one year 2x three months apart). Yes, we love Maui and after researching multiple condos, we always choose Maui Kamaole. This was our 5th stay at MK and 1st time at Lisa's unit. The unit is close to the lower pool (which my boys - 9 & 13 - actually preferred b/c it is heated, although hubby likes the upper pool's "really hot" hot tub). Some of the things that make this one of the better condos we've stayed at MK: 1) ACs--newer with timers and remotes; 2) plenty of dishes - like 12 dinner plates (Corelle) - which I preferred over "fancier" ones at some other condo units that were big and cumbersome (better for kids, too); 3) welcome basket with Hawaiian coffee, bottle of wine, and mac nuts--nice touch; 4) nicely updated with wood floors in hallway and downstairs bedroom and cutouts on walls that open up the kitchen/stairway areas; 5) comfortable pillowtop beds; 6) high efficiency washer/dryer. We did buy a nicer umbrella at Costco for the condo, but we've not stayed at a condo yet that had bigger beach umbrellas. A salad spinner would have been nice, since there is nothing sweeter than a salad made with Kula greens. Skip the bagged salad and buy local produce. All 5 of our stays at MK were through VRBO. The first 4 times, the on island agent was CRH and I knew what to expect with a rental that was managed by CRH. I was a bit worried at first about renting Lisa's condo b/c she didn't use CRH - the majority of rentals at MK have CRH as their on island agent - but no worries! We actually met the on island agent who was leaving the welcome basket because we were a bit early checking in. Maui Kamaole, in my opinion, is the best condo complex for the $ in South Maui. The grounds are amazing, and the way the condos are arranged with the landscaping you don't see any neighbors when you are out on the lanai. The pools are never crowded; each condo building has its own gas barbeques and there are also plenty at the pools. I've seen a security guard patroling the grounds at night during all my stays at MK. Being closer to Kihei Rd this time, my family walked almost every night across the street to the boat launch where we saw turtles (go out on the rock jetty a few yards and look down into the small bay on the left hand side). We had a great two weeks at Lisa's condo. Almost didn't want to write this review because it was that good and now the word is out.

This was our second trip to the Kihei area of Maui and we wanted to share the experience with our two teen age grandsons. The Maui Kamaole complex is at the south end of Kihei, across the street from the boat launch and Kamole III beach. While it is withing easy walking distance of the beaches it is far enough removed from the busy roadway to insure that you won't here any traffic noise. This unit is also an easy walk to the main pool and resort offices. This resort complex has been here llong enough to have mature landscaping which is kept well groomed and provides a garden like atmosphere. Our unit had been tastefully upgraded with two very comfortable bedrooms with queen beds, a very functional kitchen and in house washer and drier. That really made this feel like our home away from home and gave us the option of staying in or going out when we wanted to. This unit provided us with very comfortable accomodations in a relaxed atmosphere close to some of the best beaches, restaurants and shopping in Kihei. It is also has convenient access to the main road to Lahaina, Kahului and other destionations on the island. The one down side to this resort is that the office staff doesn't provide the same kind of support that you might find at other locations. They do offer concierge services but the office is not geared towards providing for the day to day needs of first time vacationers to the area. Some people like the idea of having a fully staffed office at their disposal and those people might feel like they aren't getting the support they need here. In our case we didn't need or want the extra attention so it worked out fine for us. All in all it provided us with a very comfortable home base for our vacation with the boys and we would happily stay here again. The old folks

an all-around perfect stay!

Our whole family found this to be the perfect place for our stay in Maui. The unit was immaculately maintained, well-provisioned and very comfortable for our family of four. We also found the location was great as it is within walking distance to a great beach as well as other Kihei amenities. It is across the parking lot to the pool and only a short drive to grocery stores. And best of all... very quiet! Both the owners and local property manager were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. We'll definitely be going back.

Wonderful Kihei

We loved staying in Maui Kamaole. Truly a paradise and a great location. It has everything one would need for a carefree vacation. Lush surroundings with 2 beautiful pools plus it's just a short walk to the beach. The condo is spacious and airy and immaculately clean. It is well appointed with plenty of towels, dishes, pots and pans, plus beach chairs and umbrellas. We especially loved the roomy balcony with gorgeous views of the ocean in the distance. It really is a home away from home.

Hi Lisa We just got back from 3 weeks in your condo and wanted you to know we were very satisfied. Maui Kamaole is a first class resort with its low rise buildings and beautiful landscaping. The green areas and palm trees are just how we pictured Maui. Your condo itself is well furnished and in an excellent location with view and proximity to the pools. Of course, I don't know who needs pools with Maui beaches. The Kam III beach across the street is convenient but we found better at Makena just before Big Beach. Less crowded, gentler slope and shade possibilities. Hope to revisit in the future. Ted and Hella

We stayed in this unit from January 4 - 20th, 2011 and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We stayed at Maui Kamaole in a different unit last year thus the return. The property is in a great location near many awesome beaches. The property is extremely quiet from both Kihei vehicular traffic and quiet from neighbouring tenants. There are two great pools on the property and the grounds are very beautiful. This unit we stayed in was very nice. Upgrades have been made such as granite counter tops in the kitchen, flat panel TVs and pillow top beds. The unit was very clean and was comfortable. The lanai was enjoyable with a great view of the ocean and sunsets. It was a bonus having this ocean view in a 'Garden View' condo. Having beach toys and umbrellas was great for our 3 year old daughter too. Having stayed at Maui Kamaole twice now, we will definitely return with this unit being our first choice. The owners (Lisa) was VERY easy to deal with and seems to have a passion for interacting with guests which made it enjoyable and exciting for our vacation. Overall experience was 10 out of 10."

Lisa, Maui was awesome (as always). We had a couple of big storms while we were there that cause issues for the island but nevertheless it was still paradise. The condo was very much to our liking. We liked the unit very much and especially the lanai situated to take advantage of the ocean view. It was a nice bonus to have a view of the ocean on a 'garden view' unit.
