Our family of 3 had a great and relaxing time at your condo Lisa! We were very impressed with how well appointed it was and the extra touches such as the gift basket and fresh flowers was a great surprise. We enjoyed the location in the complex - very quiet and private and close to the pool. Your thorough instructions made everything go smoothly and our stay completely stress free. We'd definitely like to come back!

My husband and I along with our 2 granddaughters (ages 18 and 20) thoroughly enjoyed our time at the condo. It was a great location and the condo offered all the amenities of home. The girls would walk to the ocean, while we preferred the pools on the property. Thanks for a wonderful, memorable vacation.

First, Lisa and Ken who own the property couldn't have been more supportive and helpful. Their unit was modern and tastefully decorated. It was impeccably clean and the complimentary bottle of white wine waiting for us when we arrived was the perfect touch to a magnificent vacation. Their condo has a wonderful view where we enjoyed spectacular sunsets. It is perfectly situated in Kihei because it is close to Kamaole Beach 3 and a short jaunt to the shops and restaurants nearby. This was our second visit to Maui and without a doubt, this was the nicest condo to stay at. When we return, I can assure you this is going to be our top choice!

Great Beach Nearby, Awesome View

We loved our morning walks along Kamaole III Beach & through the grounds at this beautiful resort. Then relaxing and playing the water at Kamaole was close to home to go back & forth. Pool and hot tub were great & BBQ close by. The unit was comfortably furnished and easy to cook meals there or within walking distance of a few restaurants (Cafe O'Lei and 5 Palms our favorite lunch & Happy Hour spots.) The best feature of this unit is the sunset view perfectly featured through the palm trees! Got some great photos. We definitely would recomend this unit and plan to stay here again on our next trip to Maui.

We had a great time at this condo, the pool is nice and it is a short walk to the beach. The condo had snorkel gear, beach matts and umbrellas which was great. We will definitely stay here again.

Our family loved staying in this unit. Super homey, with everything we could possibly need or want. We have stayed in the Maui Kamaole units before, and as before, we love being centrally located to everything. The dive photos, and super cool camera were fun to check out in the unit. Thank you Lisa for being so wonderful about our need to switch from Joyce's unit. You both made everything so easy for us. It is greatly appreciated! Mahalo!

Loved this condo! It was super clean and the kitchen and other amenities were outstanding! They had tons of sand toys, boogie boards and other fun items for the beach. We loved the location...very central and we were able to walk to the beach if we wanted or travel a bit north or south to visit other beaches and areas. Our son also loved the pool and met all sorts of other kids and families there. We would definitely stay again!!

Maui LaNalu is perfect. The property was beautiful and quiet, location fantastic, the condo was super-duper clean and well-stocked, and our stay was comfortable and relaxed. We highly recommend Lisa's place at Maui Kamaole, and can't wait to come back next year. We enjoyed several activities, but we highly recommend Eagle Riders for motorcycle rentals, 5 Palms Restaurant, snorkeling at Four Seasons beach, and of course Mama's Fish House.

This is a Wonderful Place to Stay in Kihei

This condo met and in many ways surpassed our expectations. The VRBO listing was extremely helpful and accurate. Everything was exactly as advertised. Checking in was a breeze and we particularly appreciated the welcome package of coffee and wine. The location of this property is wonderful. You have a lovely ocean view, the pool is steps away and it is an easy walk to the Kihei boat ramp and the beach Kamaole III. This unit is nicely furnished, updated, clean and well-maintained. The television service and wireless internet make it easy to stay in touch with home. Everything you need to hit the beach is in the box on the lanai - chairs, umbrellas, snorkels, boogie boards, sand toys. We found the owners extremely easy to deal with. Everything was "as promised" and having such a nice place to stay really enhanced our vacation. The grounds of Maui Kamaole are beautifully landscaped and the complex is conveniently located. We would highly recommend this condo to anyone who wants to travel with all the comforts of home.

Our recent stay at your Maui Kamaole condo exceeded our expectations. We found the unit spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. Everything we needed for our stay was provided. The extra touches of orchids and the welcome basket were delightful. Beds were so comfortable and the location so quiet we had the best nights' sleep in a long time. It was more than 20 years since I had been to Maui, but after this visit I will be returning soon.

We had a wonderful stay in your condo; enjoyed it tremendously! Very tastefully decorated, comfy bed, and great view from the balcony. We didn’t use the downstairs bedroom, but we prefer a 2nd floor unit and the additional space. We love Maui Kamaole (this was our 3rd stay) and feel we’ve found our favorite unit. We will recommend your unit to friends/family, and we expect to return ourselves. It truly felt like our home away from home. Can’t thank you enough the opportunity to rent such a beautiful unit – everything was perfect! The welcome basket with wine, cookies and coffee was so appreciated. And the flowers in the unit when we arrived were lovely. I collected them and floated them in bowls in the baths and kitchen for a few days. We also appreciated the beach chairs, unbrella, cooler, boogie board, and towels for the beach. Fun! Everthing we needed was provided. Just remembering our arrival brings a smile…. Wish we were there now. We can’t wait to return.

The Maui Kamaole property is beautiful, serene and perched on one of the nicest landscaped hills in Kihei. This unit was well appointed and very clean, attention to detail is obvious. All the amenities for cooking your own meals are here, you will not be searching for substitutes or rewashing utensils or dishes to finish your recipe. The welcome basket was a great touch for a weary traveler. A bit of coffee to get your morning started and a handful of local snacks very enjoyable. Not to mention some wine to put you to bed. The view from the lanai was amazing; we enjoyed sunsets from here as well as margaritas. Being on the hill gives you that high floor hotel feeling and you are away from the main traffic noise of Kihei Rd.

Great Stay at Maui Kamaole

We stayed here for 2 weeks in Aug '11. We've been going to Maui about once a year (and one year 2x three months apart). Yes, we love Maui and after researching multiple condos, we always choose Maui Kamaole. This was our 5th stay at MK and 1st time at Lisa's unit. The unit is close to the lower pool (which my boys - 9 & 13 - actually preferred b/c it is heated, although hubby likes the upper pool's "really hot" hot tub). Some of the things that make this one of the better condos we've stayed at MK: 1) ACs--newer with timers and remotes; 2) plenty of dishes - like 12 dinner plates (Corelle) - which I preferred over "fancier" ones at some other condo units that were big and cumbersome (better for kids, too); 3) welcome basket with Hawaiian coffee, bottle of wine, and mac nuts--nice touch; 4) nicely updated with wood floors in hallway and downstairs bedroom and cutouts on walls that open up the kitchen/stairway areas; 5) comfortable pillowtop beds; 6) high efficiency washer/dryer. We did buy a nicer umbrella at Costco for the condo, but we've not stayed at a condo yet that had bigger beach umbrellas. A salad spinner would have been nice, since there is nothing sweeter than a salad made with Kula greens. Skip the bagged salad and buy local produce. All 5 of our stays at MK were through VRBO. The first 4 times, the on island agent was CRH and I knew what to expect with a rental that was managed by CRH. I was a bit worried at first about renting Lisa's condo b/c she didn't use CRH - the majority of rentals at MK have CRH as their on island agent - but no worries! We actually met the on island agent who was leaving the welcome basket because we were a bit early checking in. Maui Kamaole, in my opinion, is the best condo complex for the $ in South Maui. The grounds are amazing, and the way the condos are arranged with the landscaping you don't see any neighbors when you are out on the lanai. The pools are never crowded; each condo building has its own gas barbeques and there are also plenty at the pools. I've seen a security guard patroling the grounds at night during all my stays at MK. Being closer to Kihei Rd this time, my family walked almost every night across the street to the boat launch where we saw turtles (go out on the rock jetty a few yards and look down into the small bay on the left hand side). We had a great two weeks at Lisa's condo. Almost didn't want to write this review because it was that good and now the word is out.

Vacation with the grandsons

This was our second trip to the Kihei area of Maui and we wanted to share the experience with our two teen age grandsons. The Maui Kamaole complex is at the south end of Kihei, across the street from the boat launch and Kamole III beach. While it is withing easy walking distance of the beaches it is far enough removed from the busy roadway to insure that you won't here any traffic noise. This unit is also an easy walk to the main pool and resort offices. This resort complex has been here llong enough to have mature landscaping which is kept well groomed and provides a garden like atmosphere. Our unit had been tastefully upgraded with two very comfortable bedrooms with queen beds, a very functional kitchen and in house washer and drier. That really made this feel like our home away from home and gave us the option of staying in or going out when we wanted to. This unit provided us with very comfortable accomodations in a relaxed atmosphere close to some of the best beaches, restaurants and shopping in Kihei. It is also has convenient access to the main road to Lahaina, Kahului and other destionations on the island. The one down side to this resort is that the office staff doesn't provide the same kind of support that you might find at other locations. They do offer concierge services but the office is not geared towards providing for the day to day needs of first time vacationers to the area. Some people like the idea of having a fully staffed office at their disposal and those people might feel like they aren't getting the support they need here. In our case we didn't need or want the extra attention so it worked out fine for us. All in all it provided us with a very comfortable home base for our vacation with the boys and we would happily stay here again. The old folks

We loved staying in Maui Kamaole. Truly a paradise and a great location. It has everything one would need for a carefree vacation. Lush surroundings with 2 beautiful pools plus it's just a short walk to the beach. The condo is spacious and airy and immaculately clean. It is well appointed with plenty of towels, dishes, pots and pans, plus beach chairs and umbrellas. We especially loved the roomy balcony with gorgeous views of the ocean in the distance. It really is a home away from home.

an all-around perfect stay!

Our whole family found this to be the perfect place for our stay in Maui. The unit was immaculately maintained, well-provisioned and very comfortable for our family of four. We also found the location was great as it is within walking distance to a great beach as well as other Kihei amenities. It is across the parking lot to the pool and only a short drive to grocery stores. And best of all... very quiet! Both the owners and local property manager were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. We'll definitely be going back.

Hi Lisa We just got back from 3 weeks in your condo and wanted you to know we were very satisfied. Maui Kamaole is a first class resort with its low rise buildings and beautiful landscaping. The green areas and palm trees are just how we pictured Maui. Your condo itself is well furnished and in an excellent location with view and proximity to the pools. Of course, I don't know who needs pools with Maui beaches. The Kam III beach across the street is convenient but we found better at Makena just before Big Beach. Less crowded, gentler slope and shade possibilities. Hope to revisit in the future. Ted and Hella

Maui Kamaole

We stayed in this unit from January 4 - 20th, 2011 and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We stayed at Maui Kamaole in a different unit last year thus the return. The property is in a great location near many awesome beaches. The property is extremely quiet from both Kihei vehicular traffic and quiet from neighbouring tenants. There are two great pools on the property and the grounds are very beautiful. This unit we stayed in was very nice. Upgrades have been made such as granite counter tops in the kitchen, flat panel TVs and pillow top beds. The unit was very clean and was comfortable. The lanai was enjoyable with a great view of the ocean and sunsets. It was a bonus having this ocean view in a 'Garden View' condo. Having beach toys and umbrellas was great for our 3 year old daughter too. Having stayed at Maui Kamaole twice now, we will definitely return with this unit being our first choice. The owners (Lisa) was VERY easy to deal with and seems to have a passion for interacting with guests which made it enjoyable and exciting for our vacation. Overall experience was 10 out of 10."

Lisa, Maui was awesome (as always). We had a couple of big storms while we were there that cause issues for the island but nevertheless it was still paradise. The condo was very much to our liking. We liked the unit very much and especially the lanai situated to take advantage of the ocean view. It was a nice bonus to have a view of the ocean on a 'garden view' unit. We had a great time!The condo at Maui Kamaole was fully equipped,comfortable and an excellent location to the ocean and many of the sights and experiences the island offers.Having morning coffee on the living room lanai was a great way to start the day and it just got better with numerous pristine beaches to choose from and of course the food.We discovered some local roadside vendors offering fresh local produce unlike anything we get here.We were very fortunate to see a whale--what a sight! With warm breezes,moonlight nights,and laid back atmosphere it was like alittle slice of Heaven.You'll get used to the guinea hens.Recomends:Drive up the,coast to downtown Lahaina (on front st) check out the "banyan tree" and the shops.Snorkeling in Honolau Bay (north of Lahaina).Eskimo Candy Seafood shop fresh fish and the best seafood chowder I've ever eaten.We would stay at Maui Kamaole on our next vsit.

We had a lovely time. The condo unit is beautiful and so nicely decorated and CLEAN. Everything we needed was provided and then some. I think the unit is perfect for four adults or for a family with kids; we had six adults and the sleeping arrangements were a bit of a challenge because we had to switch off on who was going to sleep on the sofa bed, but other than that it was wonderful. I would recommend this lovely unit for anyone planning a Maui vacation.

Just returned from a week in Maui and our rental unit was fantastic! Very well laid out condo and Lisa has not forgotten anything that you will require for your stay. The kitchen was very well stocked and the appliances were new - sure made life easier with a 2 year old in tow to have all the amenities ready at our fingertips. Having the new washing machines was a real bonus as well for us! Something that stands out in this unit was having the air conditioning units in three separate rooms, in reading some of the reviews for other units not all of them have a/c so this was a big selling point for my pregnant wife. Very easy to keep cool sleeping conditions and nice to have the afternoon tradewind breeze flowing through the condo. The lanai is a great spot for breakfast as well as dinner while the sun sets in the distance. The grounds of the development are immaculate and we found both pools to be very useful in the heat of the day. Lisa has provided all the beach equipment you could need. We really enjoyed our time in Maui, lots of things to see and do with a lot of diversity packed into a small area. Lisa promptly returned our security deposit on our return as promised. It certainly was easy to deal with Lisa and everything was as advertised and more! Highly recommend renting this unit!

Private, yet close to everything!

We were very happy we chose this condo to stay in. It was better than expected and Lisa was very professional to deal with. These condos are very secluded and quiet, yet in two minutes you can be at the beach, and shops are within walking distance as well. There are propane BBQ's conveniently located on the grounds and the only noise you will wake to are the birds! My family was quite comfortable here and we would recommend this property again & again.

Aloha Lisa, We had a wonderful trip to Maui and a great visit with our NZ friends who we had not seen for 10 years! The trip was made so much better by having your condo to call "home" for 2 weeks. It was such an advantage to be able to prepare and BBQ our meals, walk across the street to the pool, have space to visit and relax and have the option of walking or driving to beautiful beaches. We enjoyed our stay in Maui and found our condo to be top notch. Everything you could need or want was available in this unit. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The property is located right across from the local beach and a quick drive to many restaurants and shops as well as many other beautiful beaches. Mahalo Lisa & Ken! We had a terrific stay. How lucky you two are! Wish we could stay longer, but we accomplished so much while we were here. Snorkeling is great just across the street and on Hwy 30 at the 14 mile marker. Kihei Caffe has delicious & reasonably priced breakfast. Canoe's in Lahaina has a great happy hour. And if you want to take home a permanent souvenier, try Skin Deep Tattoo Parlor in Lahaina. Hope to return to your to your condo in the future-Thanks so much! With Warm Aloha, Barb and Jan

It is close to everything but very quiet and peaceful in the condo area. I will certainly recommend your condo to any of our friends travelling to Maui. Aloha Lisa and Ken, I'm writing right when we came back home but I have to say - we still be at Maui. Thank you very much for sharing your nice condo with us. The appartments are nice, clean and there were everything for comfortable life. ( I'm sure we left it looking so good as it was when we stepped in ). The location is perfect! That's what I was looking for and my expectations were satisfied in full! We had very, very good time! Steps to the beaches, minutes to enterteinment sites - very, very good. The view from the lanai to sunsets - it's priceless! The site - it was like to live in a garden. I went to other condominimums specially to compare and the Maui Kamaole is the best. Lisa, let me know if I need to say more in order to add to the list of reviews, Again, thank you very much and we all hope to come again soon (I've already promised to my little one :-)) Sergei and all my family P.S. Aloha Lisa, We are having fun in Maui! Your condo is perfect for our family. The condo is in great, clean condition. We have everything we need. We love Maui. The BEACH near the condo is the best. We have tried other beaches, but the Kamaole III is the best for a family with kids. The swimming pool and the spa is real treat. We went on a snorkeling trip today. We were so tired we could not go to the beach in the evening. We used pool. It was great. We would really like to come back to your condo in the future. We are so happy to spend time here. Your place is the best. We would not wish for anything more. It looks so Hawaiian and sophisticated. Very comfortable for our family of four. It was our first vacation with the baby (toddler). We were little bit nervous, but everything went well. Kids slept down stairs and we got the bedroom upstairs. Mahalo for everything! Victoria.

We had a wonderful month staying in your condo. The location is fantastic and the sunset views from the beach across the street are amazing. The condo is great and very well suited for two couples or a family. During our month stay we had several family members visit and they were all impressed with the comfort and location of the condo. This was our first trip to Maui & we loved it. The condo was more then we could have asked for & perfect. We put our favorites below to help other "first timers". Snorkel: Our favorite spot was Prince Beach-right by the Prince Hotel-clear, calm, lots of turtles The Road to Hana: took about 5 hours round trip, but it was amazing. 7 Pools are here, tons of waterfalls-well worth it. We had the most perfect honeymoon here and can't wait to come back! Nathan and Christina Menth

Lisa We had a great time and as luck would have it the weather was sunny and hot. We really enjoyed the use of your condo. We felt very comfortable right of the get go. It is one of the nicer places we have stayed at the Maui Kamaole. Your upgrades in the kitchen and main floor bathroom are well done and adds to a lot to your place. Thanks for making information available in the condo for dining and activities. We used this a few times to pick restaurants and a couple of activities. We are ready to turn around and head back to Maui. It is currently snowing about 0 F and our hockey team - the Flames have been eliminated in the 1st round of the playoffs. We will definitely keep you in mind for our next Maui trip! Thanks a bunch Mike Massecar

Hello Lisa and Ken, We enjoyed a terrific stay in your condo. This was our first time to Hawaii; week one was spent in Why?!Kiki and is not one of my favourite places one earth. Maui was a contrast in peace and relaxation compared to Waikiki.Typically our tropical vacation locations have been coastal Ecuador, Panama, Belize and motorcycling through Mexico (as this past Christmas). We felt at home within minutes of walking through the door. For dining in the kitchen was extremely well-equipped and easy proximity to the Barbeque. The condo and property is immaculate and aesthetically pleasing. Great location in Kihei. Ideal for two couples.

Spent 2 weeks late November and early December and loved this place. Maui is so relaxing and the 80+ degree highs were great. Loved the condo as it had everything one would need for a great stay. Especially the ability to do laundry! Beats a hotel any day! The sun on the Lanai in the afternoon and early evening was very nice. We will definitely try to stay here in future and use VRBO for future trips to other places in the world. Mahalo Lisa and Ken!

Thank you Lisa & Ken for letting us rent your beautiful condo. Everything was great, I had a wonderful much needed vacation with my kids, I walked everyday to Honolua Coffee Co in Wailea. Went snokeling in Makena, saw so many turtles. Headed back to freezing Seattle today, will be back if you let us! Mahalo Sheila! Any time you want, just let me know!
