This vacation home was perfect for our family. We headed to Flagstaff for a weekend of sledding with the kids. The NAU practice field was just up the street with a great hill to sled down. The house is close to the university as well as downtown. We’ve rented several houses in the past, and we must say we really enjoyed this home: Tastefully decorated, plenty of room, a large dining table and a kitchen that is well stocked. The beds were incredibly comfortable. We are definitely going to return.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 16/16

This was our second time staying at this quaint cottage. Tamara is so easy to work with! Cottage has all your necessities, including extra fluffy blankets which I used (since I'm always cold). The decor is amazing, very vintage circa 30's or 40's, I'm into antiques, so it was right up my alley. My husband and I were there celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary....and didn't want to leave Flagstaff, or the cottage!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Our family stayed for 6 nights this past May 2012. We enjoyed the clean, comfortable home, using the patio, and entertaining family and friends in the area. Comfortable space , close to downtown, NAU, and nice to cook breakfast and some dinners in the stocked kitchen. The owner,Tamara was easy to work with, making the reservation system a positive and seamless experience. Thanks for sharing this quaint, clean, conviently located, Flagstaff home with us!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

We stayed here for 5 nights in May and had a wonderful time! The house is located just a few blocks away from Macy's Coffee, Cafe Ole, NAU and many more restaurants/shopping. We could walk everywhere downtown. The house was very clean with attractive furnishings and linens. There's a washer/dryer and a well-stocked kitchen (utensils/pots/pans) for cooking meals. Tamara was very nice to work with (we reserved the house about a year in advance for our epic SW road trip!) We would definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car.

Long time VRBO user... This home was tops in all ways. Very Clean, Wonderful Linens, great furniture that made you feel as though you were cruising in the 1940s. We cooked breakfast and dinner and did lunch in town. Great follow-thru by the owners. Highly recommend it over any hotel. Our new home away from home when we visit Flagstaff to beat the heat.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

We stayed in May for a whole week and found the house to be very spacious and comfortable. It had all kinds of extras... well-stocked. The home was clean, the beds comfy and the location ideal. If you worry about train noise...don't. It was rather quiet at night. Thanks for a wonderful stay. And special thanks for keeping the price affordable.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children.

If you need to visit Northern Arizona University for any event (sports or orientation), or just a vacation in Flagstaff this is the place to be. We walked to the campus in less than 5 minutes. The house was so comfy and super clean. All the decorations are unique, very coordinated with the colors of the rooms. The beds were comfortable and a big backyard with a view of Mountains.Plenty of amenities in kitchen and bathroom. The owner was a delight to correspond with. Thank you hope to come again soon.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.
