My husband and I have just returned from 2 weeks at Casa De Los Suenos and we are counting the days to our return. From the welcoming and personalized greeting we received from the Manager and Casa Employees to the first glimpse of our vacation home was amazing. For the first 2 days I could not tear my eyes from the ocean. Our first night at sunset we saw whales "ballenas" breeching as the sun kissed the sea. We saw them each and every day after that as well as dolphins, manta ray, turtles and numerous types of fish. Each morning we sat in our beach chairs sipping hot coffee watching the sun rise, and each night gazing West ~Martinis in hand to see the most amazing sunsets. The home is so incredibly maintained, each and everyday the pool is meticulous and sparkling and the house seems to always be spotless, you could bounce pennies off of the beds...perfection. The drive into Puerto Escondidos was a bit more difficult that it was in 2011 when we visited, but we soon figured it out. We chose to drive in every 2-3 days for supplies, we love going to the fresh Mercado and shopping for fresh fish, vegetables and flowers...12 Gladiolas for less than $4 american! The beach walks we took were endless, you can walk for hours on the shore and see maybe 2-3 others enjoying the bliss of privacy and quiet. This home has taught us a lesson in relaxing, and after a very short time after our arrival we relearned the lost art of exhaling...

We had a wonderful stay at casa de los sueños. It was comfortable, beautiful and very well equipped. The pool is a great size and the water surrounding the house is fun and relaxing. We would definitely consider staying there again, having fun in the sun and splashing about in the pool, it was great.

I am writing this review, my cheeks comfortably seated on the exterior couch of the villa, about to enjoy a sumptuous sunset. This casa is a must rent!!! Everything about it is amazing: from the spacious master's bedroom, the comfortable media room with satellite cable, the well equipped, furnished and cleverly designed kitchen, the guest rooms, the WIFI internet, the pool and the beach!!! Yes, the house is right on the beach, facing south and every night it's a new sunset. How beautiful! Taking care of the villa is a young, faithful and charming family. They only speak spanish, so it's a good occasion to work on your conversation while here. Crecesio, the father, can guide you through town to the market or the supermarket, or for any errand you might have to run. Crecesio and Gloria, do not come included in the package as cooks; they have their own casita on the premises, and they are in charge of the chores, cleaning the pool and landscaping. However, Gloria makes coffee and freshly sqeezed OJ, every morning! You would have to rent a car to live here; the villa is a good 20 minutes from central Puerto Escondido. From town, a nearly finished black top highway takes you up to the 156th kilometer of the road, then making a hard right, you'll drive on a dust road leading you towards the beach. And to the villa. The house is part of a small remote community of other nicely designed homes, and most of them are by the sea. Aside from the occasional fisherman, or a strolling neighboor, you'll rarely see anyone passing in front of the villa. It's private location makes it a perfect spot for relaxation. Stand on the beach, look left or look right, and you'll see miles of perfect sand and you'll savor the eternal murmur of the crashing waves. Beware of the undertowe, though. Families with young children must be vigilant while swimming on the coast. We're already prolonging our stay and planning to come back next year. Nina's service (our rental agent) was excellent in taking care of us. When we got here, internet wasn't working at all. After several tries and calls for help, and the input of Linne (the owner) it worked. I guess it's the only hicup we had in our stay here. But if it wasn't for the preparation of the rest of our trip that we had to work on, who the hell needs internet in such a paradisiac, modern, romantic gettaway house?? Sorry. Gotta go. I have a sunset to catch.
