Call for 20% discount for the week of 07/16/11 - recent cancellation - very popular home located on the beach. Large, roomy and comfortable home for large families. Home is handicap friendly - includes chair lift to all floors. The kitchen is well-equipped with all the amenities to host a festive barbeque. Dining Room is larger than usual which is great for hosting everyone around one table.
Main living area includes a Master Suite (Queen Bed) with Bath that is conveniently located away from the mainstream of activities. Top floor includes three bedrooms - one Master Suite Bedroom (Queen Bed & Twin Bed Sleep Sofa) with full bath and access to a private deck. 2nd Bedroom (one located ocean front with Queen Bed) share a "Jack & Jill" Bathroom. Third bedroom has been converted to a 2nd entertainment area, but can be converted back to one single bed -- oversized chair become single beds.
Want to get away from everyone -- escape to the Reading Nook on the top floor. We've conviently filled the reading nook with books to "borrow" for the week.
Main deck level is covered. The walk to the beach boasts an extra deck with expanded seating area -- great for everyone to spread out. Top deck also is covered and provides wonderful views up and down the beach.
Of great value to families with children of all ages -- life guard positioned at the end of the walkway on the beach.

This is a very nice, spacious house. Perfect for a large or extended family. We enjoyed our visit. The only improvements I could suggest would be to include some childrens' books in the "book nook". My grandchild was excited about the book nook, then disappointed to see there were no childrens books included Also, for the price, it would be ideal if there were televisions in the bedrooms - large families with children would appreciate that, I'm sure.

My family and I stayed at Angel One during the week of July 17-24. We enjoyed our stay and the house, especially the location and the covered porches. However, the house needs some improvements. The 4th bedroom with the twin sofa sleeper should contain a real bed (or advertise the house as having three bedrooms). The sleeper is very uncomfortable. The owners also need to replace the TV and move it to another corner in the living room. The present one is very dim and hazy, and it also receives a lot of glare from the windows. The kitchen is well stocked and very nice. The other bedrooms are also very nice. With a few changes and updates, we would gladly stay at this beach house again.
Owner response:We appreciate our guests input and work hard to ensure the accommodations meet expectations. While our ad clearly identifies the 4th bedroom containng 2 Twin Sleep Sofas; we were disappointed to hear of this problem at the time of check-out. This is the first complaint we've received regarding the Twin Sleep Sofas. We will revisit the configuration of this room during Fall, 2010 and certainly make adjustments. Based on the guests input, the TV was replaced with a beautiful 47" flat screen within 24 hours of their check-out.
Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We stayed in this house in Summer '09 with two other families with small (well behaved) children. It was wonderful to be able to go out on the beach while the babies were napping, and be easily alerted by the adult who stayed behind when a little one needed assistance. Unlike all the new homes where the master suite gets all the views, two of the adult-sized bedrooms face the ocean. It's worth getting ocean front even just to drift off to the sound of the surf! This house really should be considered a 3 bedroom + a sitting room, as the 4th bedroom wasn't large enough to house even a bed, but it was perfect for us as a nursery for two small girls. We'd love to come stay again sometime! Thanks Angel One!
