Our trip to Sonoma Meadow house was incredible. This home has amazing decks and views. There was lots to do in wine country and in Sonoma but I didn't want to leave the house because it was so enjoyable to sit on the deck, take in the beautiful views and enjoy the peace and quiet. The house itself is a work of art, every detail is so well thought out and unique. We look forward to returning to Sonoma Meadow House!

This was truly an unforgettable vacation. I don't have really any experience with vacation rentals, but this seemed "just right" as price wise it bridged the gap between the Best Western and a Honeymoon Suite at the most expensive hotels. However, what we got was much more than any honeymoon suite would have offered. The privacy and beauty of the house itself in addition to the surrounding area was magnificent. Standing on the huge deck, you only see vineyards and mountains in all directions. It's absolutely incredible. If you only want to go to the local wineries, that is perfect, however we made little day trips out of the different regions of wine country and then ate dinner in Sonoma Square (15 minute drive away from the house). There are some very popular restaurants in Sonoma Square that people travel to the area just to go to. Each morning we started our day brewing a pot of coffee, and making two side-by-side bubblebaths outside on the deck. I cannot wait for another opportunity to do something half as good.

My husband and I stayed here in June 2011 along with another couple. The word of the trip was "WOW"! From the moment you arrive you are blown away with the view! The house is so beautiful in and of itself but coupled with the view - it is a masterpiece! We looked forward to coffee on the porch in the morning and wine in the evening. It was very quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. We reluctantly left and started making plans for our return trip! This is a one of a kind house that you must see for yourself because the pictures certainly do not do it justice!

Most Spectacular Sonoma Meadow House

The Sonoma Meadow house is a truly spectacular place to stay. The house itself is full of all the modern ammenities one could desire in addition to being a very "green" house outfitted with solar panels, solar water heating, recycling and composting. Each mater bedroom while unique from each other are very comfortable and stylish. The artwork thorugh out the house is beautiful and varying in the styles and compositions. The most amazing aspect is the spectacular panoramic view of Sonoma valley, Moon valley and on a clear day the Goldan Gate bridge. I have been to almost every national park in the country and the views while staying at this house are as gorgeous and dramatic as some of the scenery in the most scenic national parks in the country. Plus Sonoma itself is one of the most bueaituflly scenic towns in all of America and it is full of wineries to explore. Although Napa valley is right over Mt Veeder from where the Sonoma Meadow house is at, Sonoma has a less touristy more rural agricultrual feel to it which helps one feel more relaxed and laid back. It is one of the most spectacularly amazing places I have ever stayed.

We stayed at the Sonoma Meadow House for a week in August 2008 and don't have words to accurately describe how happy we were with the experience. It was adorable, stylish, and intimate! The views were breathtaking and the house was well-equipped with activities (hot tub, games, local "to-dos", movies, books, and tv) and necessities (kitchen accessories, sheets, towels, etc). In the perfect location, the House is a short drive to everything - Sonoma, Glen Ellen, Santa Rosa, & Napa - but far enough from the main road to feel private. For a reasonable rate, we lived for a week in paradise! We loved Sonoma and Napa counties and hope to return annually. When we do, without a doubt, we'll stay at the Sonoma Meadow House!

Having just spent a week at Sonoma Meadow House with my wife celebrating our 20th anniversary I can truly say web site pictures and descriptions do not do the home justice. The interior of the home is certainly a wonderful place to spend a vacation but the outdoor deck and all of its wonderful amenities make the home special. From the spectacular views including Sonoma Valley, beautiful vineyards, and sometimes all the way to San Francisco to the outdoor bedroom and dining area the deck surrounding the home is amazing. And despite being less than 10 minutes from Highway 29 you have such a feeling of serenity and peace while staying at the home. I have been using the VRBO web site to rent vacation homes for nearly 10 years and never has a home surpassed my expectations as much as this one.
