My friends and I stayed at Picture Perfect for a great long weekend on the lake. The house was in great order, the owner was honest and helpful. The location is very quiet and secluded yet a quick drive to the center of town. All in all we had a great time and would love to go back.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, adventure seekers, families with young children.

When they say "picture perfect" they aren't lying. From the enclosed sunroom you can eat or drink or read and occasionally look up and see the peacefulness of the lake. It's very private which we liked. You can walk right down from the house to the lake and jump right in. The house was nice and had all the amenities we needed. It was great having a hot tub to get in at night and just listen to the sound of the frogs and crickets. About 5 mins. away there is a Super Target for all your needs. Then 5 mins. in the other direction is CS Rentals where you can rent jet skis, pontoon and speed boats. They were very helpful and friendly since we had no experience at operating either. If we choose to go back to Lake Norman for another vacation(which we probably will) I would rent this same house. Since it's at the end of the street and lake there's nobody around to disturb the tranquility of the lake.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Hello, My name is Lauren and I will be getting married in May of 2009 and I'd like to rent a private home for the week prior so we can relax and set up with ease. There would be 10 people staying at the home for the week and roughly 65 people max on the wedding day. All of the guests will have their own accomodations and there will be no parking issues (shuttle bus). If you would be comfortable with this type of event I would love to hear back. This home is breathtaking !!! Thank you.
