Location: Estes Park, Front Range, Colorado, USA (Downtown Estes Park)
Accommodations: Cottage, 2 Bedrooms + No additional sleeping rooms avail, 1 Bath (Sleeps 6)
Keywords: Cottage
Come and enjoy our cute cottage in Estes Park. This charmer was built in 1923 and sits quietly on a hillside tucked back from traffic overlooking downtown. There are stunning views of the mountains from the living room and kitchen.
There are 2 bedrooms that will comfortably sleep 4-6. We remodeled last winter and spring. The kitchen includes all new appliances, cabinets and granite countertops. We kept the old hardwood floors that are a wonderful part of its character! The new deck allows you to step out from the kitchen so that you will be able to enjoy the view while eating, reading or just enjoying the fresh breezes that blow through the mountains.
The large stone fireplace aids the high-efficiency furnace to keep the place toasty in the winter. Open the windows for fresh breezes during the summer. Relax on the couch in the living room by reading, watching movies on the large flat screen TV with Dish Network service, or just taking in the views out the large windows.
This cottage is just 2 blocks from the middle of downtown Estes Park, a 5 minute walk to the quaint shops and great restaurants on Elkhorn Ave. During the summer, a week rental will save you money, but I rent for a minimum of 3 nights. During the fall through spring, it can be used for a weekend get-away or for scrapbooking or other craft retreats! There will be tables and supplies included so that you and your group can get crafty!

We recently stayed in this cottage with our two young children and dog for three days. It was an ideal location just off Elkhorn, which made it great for walking to shops and restaurants. (Given the amount of tourist traffic on the main drag that weekend, it was nice not to have to worry about parking.) The cottage is lovely, comfortable, in great condition, and well-stocked for travelers. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a charming cottage very close to downtown Estes Park. It is clean and well equipped. We appreciated having plenty of towels and many of the necessary items already there. We enjoyed the deck off the kitchen for delightful evenings and morning relaxation. The view is spectacular, the home is lovely and I would highly recommend it.

My husband and I stayed here four nights in September. This is a wonderful place to decompress. It is peaceful and we loved the view from the front windows both day and night. We also loved being close to town. The fact that Trish and Matt thought about all the little things -- quality of the towels and dishes, music, games and things for children, good coffee in the frige -- tells us how much they care about their home and their guests. We highly recommend staying here and will be back our next trip to Estes.

Our stay was fantastic at Trish and Matt's Hillside Cottage. The weather and close proximity to town and the Rocky Mountain national Park are ideal. The cottage was clean and comfortable and the deck adds a nice ambience for enjoying the mountain air and tremendous views. We will visit again soon and strongly recommend staying here.

My wife and I and our two girls (ages 7 & 8) spent two weeks at the Hillside Cottage in June and loved every minute. The location is perfect with an easy walk to all the activities in town and a short drive to the National Park -- the best of both worlds. The new kitchen is great and the large deck was a wonderful spot to spend early evenings eating outside. Our girls were grateful for the big TV and DVD player for an occasional Disney fix, and loved the bunk beds. The cottage offered us a comfortable, convenient and reasonably priced stay in a beautiful location. Trish, the owner, was amazingly accommodating and helpful and made us feel very welcome. We highly recommend this rental.
