Upper level - contains the living area with a flat screen TV, DVD, VCR, and Nintendo Wii, a kitchen with bar looking out over the ocean (seating for 4), dining area with seating for 6, two bedrooms (king and queen), and a full bath. Also located on this level is a sunroom with comfortable seating allowing you to relax and enjoy the great ocean views seen from this beach cottage.
Ground level - only accessible from a seperate entrance (This area is not recommended for small children). Great area for teenagers and young adults - contains a game room with pool table, TV, and futon, bedroom with bunk beds (twin on top, full size on the bottom) and a full bath.
Save room in your suitcases, don't worry about towels and linens. They are provided for your comfort at no additional cost.

Why the Owner Chose Kitty Hawk
Our family has had a home on the Outer Banks for many years. We decided we wanted something closer to the beach and started looking the beginning of 2008. After looking for a few months we found "The Good Stuff" in Kitty Hawk. We spend the spring of last year painting, installing new flooring and decorating. Our goal was a comfortable, affordable cottage that a family could enjoy while relaxing on the Outer Banks. We think we have succeeded!!!
The Unique Benefits at this House
Our cottage is COMFORTABLE. With the airy beach theme through out the main living area, you can just sit back and relax, watch the ocean and enjoy. All the comforts of home are at your fingertips - cable TV, Wifi, Nintendo Wii, and Hot Tub. After a few days, you stop looking at the clock and the days just roll one into another. Before you know it, its time to go home.

This vacation home is a family project. We (Tim and Cindy Williams) live in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, just 45 minutes from the cottage in Kitty Hawk. We own and operating a printing and sign shop and spend our free time between our log cabin at Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia and our beach cottage in Kitty Hawk. Our daughter, Lisa, is also very involved in our vacation cottage rental. She gets all the credit for the decor' and other features that make our cottage a comfortable place to stay. During you stay, don't be surprised if you see one of us.

Our family (me, wife, 3 year old, 2 year old, and beagle) stayed here for 3 nights just before Thanksgiving and we absolutely loved it. Very charming, relaxing and tasteful beach decor, and you can tell it is kept up by owners who truly care about it. It felt like a home, not an anonymous beach rental. Even the kitchen was organized like at home. Nice dishes and utincils just where you look for them, instead of cheap stuff thrown into drawers and cabinets like in so many rentals. The linens were very high quality, and the beds extraordinarily comfortable. Owners are also a pleasure to deal with. We were only renting for a few days before our larger beachfront rental started the next week in Corolla, but after a couple of days we actually did not want to leave! Long story short, loved it and would happily rent again.

My husband and I, along with our 2 dogs, spent New Year's weekend at The Good Stuff. We found the cottage to be very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. There is ample to do with the Wii, movies, games, hot tub and pool table, never a dull moment. It was equipped with everything you may need. The beds were comfy and the towels nice and thick. We had hoped to book another long weekend in May when my cousin and family visit from Holland but unfortunately, it's already booked. You won't be disappointed.

Awesome towels, amenities and location to beach! This is truly a family-oriented house as everything has been thought of from beach towels to family games, books/DVDs for a rainy day. The boys loved the pool table in the basement and stargazing from the back deck. The cottage is immaculate, beautifully decorated and has an amazing view. For our family of 4, this house was the perfect size but there are more accomodations for a larger family downstairs. We enjoyed popping open the windows and enjoying a beautiful breeze. Mutiny Bay mini-golf received our family's highest rating and the Hilton Garden Inn had a affordable buffet after an Easter Sunrise Service on their pier. Overall, it's in a super location and provides you with everything you need!

What a great week we had at The Good Stuff! I have never seen a rental place so well furnished. The sunroom was the hang-out place in the early morning and afternoon. It was so peaceful to be able to see the ocean. Linens were clean and soft, and the towels were amazingly soft and huge. Everything needed for a great vacation was provided as mentioned on their web site. Thanks for making our stay wonderful! Ernie and Myra from Arlington, TX.

The Good Stuff is an excellent beach get away. It was perfect for both the adults and the kids. The adults enjoyed the use of the hot tub while the kids were entertained by the pool table and by the use of the wii. The location was perfect...close to the beach as well as to shops, restaurants, and more. I highly recommend "The Good Stuff" to those looking to enjoy the outer banks.

My neighbors and I had the privilege of staying at The Good Stuff for a week. The kids loved the Wii. The adults loved the hot tub. We all loved the proximity to the beach. Whether it was cooking out nearly everyday, playing Yahtzee until 2 am, or shooting pool, we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. If you’re looking for a good time, I would highly recommend The Good Stuff!
