QuerenciaTaos is a mountain retreat situated on 2 acres with an unobstructed view of Coyote Ridge and Taos Mountain... the perfect location... just five minutes to historic Taos Plaza or Ski Valley Road.

We built the Guest House at QuerenciaTaos to be as comfortable as it is beautiful, with amenities such as radiant heated floors, great entertainment spaces, fully-equipped kitchen, private garden, hot tub, wifi, satellite TV, hand-pigmented plaster walls, hand-poured concrete countertops, and, of course, those breathtaking views.

A hacienda-style home, QuerenciaTaos is composed of 4 free standing buildings: Owner’s area, Guest’s area, Property Manager’s area, and communal garage, connected by covered breezeways, each with separate access and private gardens.

QuerenciaTaos is especially well-suited to artists, photographers and writers, inspirational and serene, but accessible. Meals and daily housekeeping can be arranged so that there is no interruption in the artistic process.

  • We arrived at the guest house after dark and felt welcome from the start. We found the fireplace lit, two complimentary bottles of wine and some basics in the fridge. We awakened the following morning to the breathtaking view of the mountains and property that is visible from almost every room. We met Mary Beth and found all kinds of helpful information to activities, businesses and restaurants nearby with excellent directions. We visited the Rio Grande Gorge, the Kit Carson National Forest up over the Colorado border and the Wild Waters area as well. My wife referred to the place as her HG-TV house.   • This property was amazing. The home was showered with TLC. The land surrounding the home was great for morning or afternoon hikes, the hot tub was great for relaxing after a long day of sight seeing. The master tub was a great romantic get away. The kitchen had everything you needed for preparing your own meals. The owners Quest and Shannon were terrific. They helped out in any area needed. We can't wait for our next visit to this amazing home.

  • Our family truly enjoyed our time at this beautiful home. The owners and caretaker have thought of everything and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. I mean, really -- there is a complimentary locker at the ski valley, a membership card for the local grocery and a couple of bottles of wine waiting when you walk in the door. These folks know a thing or two about hospitality!
