This extraordinary 480 acre ranch is located 5 miles from West Glacier and offers every outdoor activity the nature enthusiast could imagine. In winter enjoy cross country skiing on groomed trails, and snowshoeing. In summer horseback riding, fishing, hiking and biking are at your doorstep. The Lodge overlooks a trout filled pond and grass tennis court. There is another large, shallow lake with paddle boat and canoe for guest use. In spring and fall it is not unusual to see elk grazing the meadow and black and grizzly bear.
The Grand Lodge will accommodate 14-16. There is also a guest house on the property that sleeps 9. This is the perfect setup for a large group such as a family reunion sleeping 25. Either home can be rented separately.
The Grand Lodge offers 6,000 sq. ft. of luxury with unparalleled views of mountains, meadows and lakes, decorated in a true western Montana style motif. The Great Room on the third floor has a wonderful library, pot-bellied wood stove, entertainment center, wireless Internet, 2 built in twin beds, and a bedroom with a king bed, bath with shower.
On the main level are two more bedrooms, master with king bed is handicap accessible, private bath, TV/VCR, bedroom with queen bed, bath with steam shower, huge kitchen with dining room table seating for 16, and living room with massive stone fireplace.
Downstairs offers 3 more bedrooms, one with king bed (can be separated into 2 twins), one with 2 sets of bunk beds and one with a twin over double bunk bed and queen sofa sleeper. There are two more baths downstairs one with tub/shower and one in the changing room convenient to the outdoor 8 person hot tub. A second kitchen is very handy for large groups as well as the laundry area with two sets of W/D. This downstairs area is also the play room featuring pool table/ping pong, shuffleboard, foosball, air hockey, player piano (dozens of cartridges), big screen TV and entertainment center, and another huge stove fireplace.
The guesthouse has two bedrooms upstairs, queen and king and bath, and a huge room downstairs with 5 twin beds, full bath. There is a media room with satellite TV, wireless Internet, laundry facility.
