"Bass Lake is a freshwater lake in the Sierra Nevada, located 14 miles (23 kilometers) from the southern entrance to Yosemite National Park. The lake is considered a "warm water" lake with water temperatures reaching 80 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer months. Most of the land around the lake is part of the Sierra National Forest. The United States Forest Service designated the lake an official Recreation Area and has developed campgrounds and picnic areas on the south shore of the lake. Much of the area surrounding Bass Lake is devoted to the tourism industry." Other marinas with amenities during peak season are Miller's Landing Resort & Marina and The Forks Resort. Fuel for watercrafts is availble on the lake. Major local town of Oakhurst has just about everything to service your vacation needs, with a variety of dining options, shopping, entertainment, and a host of services. Included are Von's and Raley's Supermarkets and Rite-Aid and CVS Pharmacy. This home is a home away from home! Everything you could possibly need was provided! The home is so cute and clean. It had the warmth of a charming home so as soon as you opened the door you felt as if you were home! We travel alot being airline employees and family and we all have to say this home was exceptional! Great location on Bass Lake, close to Yosemite National Park. The ammentities were excellent with wonderful sitting areas around the home to sit out and enjoy the fresh air. Owners are wonderfully nice people to work with. We cannot wait to enjoy this home again!

I decided to schedule a spontaneous trip to Yosemite with my family and found this lovely home just happened to be available on quick notice. The owner, Maria, went out of her way to accommodate our tight planning schedule and was wonderful to work with. We only had 3 days for our trip and ended up spending 2 days in Yosemite Park. The other day was spent relaxing at Bass Lake-- a well needed break from miles of hiking! The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. After spending the day at the lake, we grilled on the back porch, sat outside for a casual meal, and then went for a swim and hot tub at the community pool right across from the house. We loved Bass Lake so much, and may look into purchasing a property on this beautiful mountain lake. A lovely way to spend a long, outdoorsy weekend. Thanks, so much Maria!

This home is comfortable, clean and has everything you might ever need for comfort. The location is perfect.The community pool and tennis court are right across the street. Bass lake is so secluded and quiet area. The homeowner was very responsive to e-mails and any questions I had. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. We were so impressed with how clean and new it was. It made us feel like at home. Your kitchen and appliances were wonderful. everything we needed to cook meals was provided. Again it was like being at home where all the essentials were at our fingertips. Your masterbedroom and bathroom were very nice and spacious. The location of your home was perfect for our vacation. We went to Yosemite twice which was approximately 15 miles from your home to the entrance of Yosemite. We skiied at Badger Pass and hiked the waterfalls in Yosemite. Another day we drove on highway 49 and visited old mining/western towns. That was fun and interesting. We definately will look into renting your home again for a return to Bass Lake/Yosemite in the summer!!

Staying at the Reden House was an excellent experience and very enjoyable for our family. The close proximity of the pool, tennis courts and lake made it very convenient for the kids. The entrance to Yosemite was a short 20-30 minute drive and close enough to spend the day in the park and return to the comforts of home. Our vacation at the Reden House was comfortable and cozy! It was great to use the tennis courts and pool after a day of relaxing on the lake! We especially enjoyed the balcony upstairs that offered a view of the lake and distant trees and hills.

What a wonderful location for a family vacation. We stayed in this very clean and beautiful home with our two little boys and thoroughly enjoyed our 10 days there. The pool was a short distance from the house and the beach was a short drive away. The kitchen was spacious and ideal for all our cooking needs. All 3 bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay in this beautiful and fully equipped home. Great location! The community pool is right accross the street from the house and it's an easy walk to the lake. It's also within close proximity to the incredible Yosemite National Park. The homeowners were accessible, lovely, and very easy to work with. We would definitely stay here again. I loved being able to cook in a spacious and beautiful kitchen when we ate in. Great Time! From the pristine landscape and spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed home we enjoyed our time from the moment we walked in. Whether it's just enjoying the scenery, playing games with the family, or relaxing while reading a book, this home was a perfect getaway for our family. It was great to explore, hike, and enjoy Yosemite, and then return to a cozy home to sleep peacefully after soaking in the spa and grilling a great meal on the barbecue.
