beautiful house, but.....

We loved the house and it's layout, the pool, and location. We didn't like the lack of lounge chairs at the pool and uncomfortable beds. We had people end up sleeping on the floor and the couches to avoid the beds. We also had problems with AC. We kept it at 79 degrees as requested with the exception of two nights when we sat in the dining room. We were hot most of our stay and then STILL had to pay extra for utilities. It's Tucson in the summer for goodness sake! This was a big surprise to have to be hot and pay extra! The kitchen was very well equipped but the pool toys were dismal. We ended up buying our own rafts as all those provided would not hold air. It seems like for such a luxurious house, we should not have problems like these.

This house is the perfect spot for a multi-generational family gathering. With it's well maintained pool, nearby park and trails, large fully supplied kitchen, dining and gathering spaces nicely separated from bedrooms for napping children and scenic secluded location just a short drive to markets and Tuscon-area attractions we had everthing we needed for fun vacation together.

Top Notch Property and Management

Chalk up another five-star review for this property. This was the fourth time our extended family (10 of us in all) has rented a VRBO-type property (three in Tucson and one in Phoenix), and this one was the first that I think we all agreed we'd like to stay at again. As mentioned in previous reviews, the management of the property is very professional. From the caretaker meeting you at the house to give you an orientation, to the more than adequate supplies and utensils provided throughout the house (bath, kitchen, bar area, laundry, even the garage), to the helpful "home manual" provided for easy reference, to the satisfaction questionnaire provided to give the owner feedback (a VRBO first for us), right down to the Andes mints left in the bedrooms, a great deal of effort and attention to detail goes into making one's stay here exceptional and we appreciated it. The property is very large and sprawling giving you privacy and seclusion, but it is conveniently located so that you don't have go far to get groceries (about the only thing you'll need to furnish yourself in the kitchen). I would highly recommend this property without hesitation.

This was our first VRBO experience and Robert and his caretaker made the process very easy. The pictures of the house do not do it justice (especially the pool/outdoor kitchen area). This house was made to entertain groups of people You will feel like you rented a resort home. If we are ever in Tucson we will be calling Robert to stay here again.

We are experienced travelers to Tucson. We have stayed at many places both rentals and hotels. This well maintained and impressive home would be among the best of the best. The management of the property is very professional, we were greeted by the caretaker upon arrival, shown the switches, controls, etc. No intrusiveness only helpful. The property and home are great and the outdoor court and grill area were excellent. No complaints at all. Owner was very easy to work with and our security deposit was returned on time and as promised. I would definately make a return visit!

Wow, what a fantastic place. We traveled to Tucson for a family reunion. Your home was perfect the perfect spot for all of us – kids, parents, and grandparents alike. We especially enjoyed the swimming pool, outdoor grilling/eating area, sports court, kitchen, and grounds in general. In addition to all the wonderful amenities of your home, it was immaculately cared for. While it was the perfect launching spot for enjoying all that Tucson has to offer, we found ourselves content to just sit by pool and enjoy the pleasant Tucson days/evenings. Thanks for sharing your home with us, we look forward to staying there again.

This house was wonderful to stay in for a month. It was beautiful and made it really hard to leave. The kitchen is unlike any I have ever seen. I believe I could live outside in the immaculately landscaped backyard. It was an privilege staying at your house!

Wow! What a wonderful place for a get away! Up on a hill with a private gate entrance, private pool and hot-tub and an outdoor grilling area which can host a large party if one wanted. The inside offers a beautiful kitchen off from several entertainment areas where some could watch the top of the line TV, PC and stereo equipment; while others socialize in another, yet far from the sleeping area if others wanted to sleep! The rooms are large and the owner was very accommodating encouraging a positive stay. I found myself saying that I wish I lived in this place! Visiting Tucson in the Spring was also a nice surprise...seeing the many flowering cacti in the City and the desert!

Our stay was nicer than any resort. Comfortable, spacious house in a quiet setting up on a hill, overlooking Tucson. Spectacular views all around. Kitchens, both indoors and out, provided a cook's (and diner's) paradise. Pool was crystal clear and refreshing. Plenty of shade and sun and comfortable chairs. Kids entertained themselves by swimming, playing ball on the court, swinging and climbing on the playground equipment. We will recommend this house to friends.

We loved staying here. The location is great, with beautiful views everywhere. The home is close to everything, yet very private and secluded. There was plenty for the kids to do, with a basketball court and a great pool. We experienced some weather related travel delays, and the owner was very willing to allow us to stay for a couple extra days at a very nominal charge. We will definitely be back for our next trip to Tucson.
