One bedroom, sleeps 2-3 adults OR 2 adults & 2 small children, maximum (if the futon is used), one bath, living room, full kitchen and an inviting Lanai to watch the sea turtles and whales (in season) frolic between you and the neighboring islands of Kaho‘olawe, Molokini, Lana’i and West Maui. Be sure to return to your lanai for pupu's (appetizers) and drinks while watching the incredible Maui sunsets.
You will be only about 25 feet to the waters edge! The only things between you and the ocean are palm trees, grass, sand and a 16th century Alii (Royal) Fish Pond (a great place to take a dip without the breaking waves)!
The complex has a pool and shuffleboard, lots of areas to sunbathe, and a wonderful rooftop area for BBQ's, sunsets and whale watching (in season), the dormant volcano, Haleakala and a 360* view of south Maui!
Centrally located on Maui. It is an easy location to start your adventures to Lahaina, Hana, Haleakala, Kaanapali or the many wonderful swimming, sunning and snorkeling beaches on the sunny south side of the island.
Our condo is just north of Kihei and just steps away from the best walking beach on the island! You can walk on Sugar Beach all the way to Ma’alaea! That's about 6 miles of pristine sand to sink your toes in... each way!
We work closely with our rental agent on-site. They take care of our guests needs while they are staying with us on Maui. No feeling of abandonment here! If our condo is already reserved, contact us anyway. We may be able to help you find a comparable OCEANFRONT condo for your travel dates through our rental agent.
We make every effort to keep our calendar current and to respond to every request with-in 24 hours (usually much sooner than that)! We are owners that care about our condo and our guests. We want you to feel good about selecting our home-away-from-home as your home-away-from-home while on Maui!

Why the Owner Chose Menehune Shores
We purchased our condo as our home-away-from-home on Maui. We have family that lives up-country and we try to visit as often as we can (3-4 times a year). The view from our condo is what made us choose this condo over the numerous ones we looked at. It was love at first sight! It is mesmerizing to walk into the condo and see the nothing but the unobstructed view! There is nothing between you and the ocean! No buildings... no roads... just the beautiful ocean and fabulous sunsets! We are happy that we can share our piece of paradise with our guests and hope they feel at home as soon as they arrive! Danny & Linda loving life on Maui!
At this time we live in Northern California in a small town called Sebastopol. Although we live in the beautiful Sonoma Valley, our love is Hawaii! We plan on retiring there in 2014. I am active in our Maui community as the treasurer of a non-profit organization that was started by my sister-in-law and her sister to benefit the school children (Kieki) of Maui - Kieki Cupboard. My brother, Mike Neal, is a local artist on Maui and you can find his photography and woodwork in galleries all around the island.
In 1989 I visited my brother on Kauai. He is the one responsible for introducing Danny and I. Danny lived on Kauai and worked with my brother, I was there on a two week vacation. Danny came to live with me in California about a month later, knowing that one day we would be moving back to the islands together! Approximately 25 years after we met, we will accomplish that goal!
That is the quick story of who we are and why we love Hawaii so much! We hope you enjoy our Maui home! Aloha!

Date stayed March 5-10, 2008 ~ Via e-mail (this is just part of the wonderful e-mail they sent!) --------------- Hi Linda, I have been meaning to email you about our experience in your wonderful home away from home in beautiful Maui. We had a wonderful time in your condo and thank you so very very very much for your hospitality and comfort. Your condo is BEAUTIFUL and we felt right at home! All in all, it was fantastic. We loved your place and are so happy that our friends booked with you!!! I would like to return in 5 years. I know it a little far out, but I don't usually go back to a place and want to return here for sure. Next time, we are going to island hop and hit Kona, Maui and Kauai. I wanted to compliment you on the following things that made your condo so homely to stay at: - The hardwood floors are nice - The mirrored living room is great, we might do that. Makes it seem so big. - That table on the patio is AWESOME! you can have 4 people all facing the ocean! - The bathroom is so nice and homely, not like a hotel or rental condo. - Nice shower, thank you!!!! - Way to go on the amenities. We used the boogie boards one day, the tanning mats to lay on, the beach towels... - The bedroom is cozy and comfortable. - The kitchen has everything - Way to go on the internet. We were bummed at first thinking we would have to pay (as we are semi-workaholics), but then got it squared away. - What else... watched some DVD's, nice nice - Wine glasses, thank you. We went to that cheese shop in the Azeka Square and got some killer cheeses!!! - Oh yeah, thank you for not having cheesy hawaiian decor, rather modern and attractive decor. Some of the places (the one upstairs too!) had the cheesy comforter, the cheesy flower couch, etc. We dig the palm trees! Ok, that's all for now. Thank you again for everything, I will talk to you again, no doubt!

My husband and I spent the last week of November in your one - bedroom condo. Though we spent most of our honeymoon outdoors, it was grand to have the comforts of home to come back to each evening. Having had such a wonderful stay, I am considering bringing my daughters next year. Mahalo

Merry Christmas Linda and family. Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your place and what a great week we had! What a great place you have! Every time you walk in the door and see that view, you say WOW! Our favorite memory is our 2-hour breakfasts, just sitting on the lanai, drinking coffee and watching for whales. Our timing sure was good. Just missed the big storm! Thank you again for your time and patience answering all our questions. Its a bit scary booking things over the internet, not knowing if those pictures are taken with a rosy colored lens, but you pictures don't really show it as good as it really is. Your place was very clean and provided everything you need for a perfect week in Maui. Now we know our kids can survive without us, we're already talking about our next trip. We will certainly let anyone, that's thinking of going to Maui, know about LifesaBeachMaui. Well, Thanks again and Merry Christmas!!

Don & I spent 7 wonderful days - snorkeling, sport fishing, shopping, dining and luau. We will definitely be back. Weather was wonderful. Helicopter ride on less expensive chopper - NOT worth it! Do the Blue Hawaiian. Luau at the Marriott - phenomenal. Loved it all! Mahalo

ALOHA - We arrived from Silver City, New Mexico and were married (Maui'd) here on this beautiful island. We could not have been more pleased with everything! Every morning and evening we enjoyed watching the sea turtles that can be seen right off the lanai. Life is grand! Aloha! :-)

Aloha. I am 82 years young. My first time here. Sooo lovely. The sunsets and rainbows are heavenly. The weather was so nice. The condo is lovely.
