Located in the scenic hamlet of Orient, the accommodation has 180 degree water views of Shelter Island and Gardiner's Bay. The newly renovated and very charming apartment suite is composed of a kitchen/living room, bedroom, and tiled bath.
There is a large waterfront deck overlooking a private sand beach and a lawn seating area surrounded by an 8' privacy hedge. Private entrance.
The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances and a wide array of pots, pans, dishes, and utensils. The decor is simple but tasteful; designed to be comfortable and beach-friendly. Guests provide their own sheets and towels for weekly and monthly stays.
The charming village of Orient is the easternmost of the north fork towns. It is located 4 miles east of Greenport across a narrow causeway which separates the bay from Long Island Sound. It lies 6 miles west of the end of the island,
Orient Point, and Orient State Park. Nestled in this beautiful marine environment, the hamlet, which is built around the bay, is reminiscent of a small New England town with cedar shake houses, old churches, a designated historic district, and no commercial development other than a post office and general store.
