Location: Doolin, County Clare, Ireland, Europe (Close to Lisdoonvarna; Shannon Airport 1 Hour Drive;)
Accommodations: House/Cottage, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths (Sleeps 6)
Tigin Doolin is situated in the midst of a rural farming community near the world famous traditional music village of Doolin and the Spa town of Lisdoonvarna. (Each approx 2 miles).
Our house is called "Tigin Doolin". Tigin means small cottage or house in Gaelic and this home reflects the environment of the Irish Cottage by encompassing both modern amenities and traditional values. Our Tigin has a hint of rustic charm and quaint old world style feeling.
The bathroom (with shower), kitchen and living room are on the ground floor, along with one double bedroom and twin bedroom. Upstairs is a spacious double bedroom and bathroom (with bath & hand-held overhead shower). There is also an EXERCISE Room upstairs, complete with exercise bike.
The rear garden is gated and is southfacing and is a secure area where children can play.
This area is an ideal base for touring County Clare and is within driving distance of many world renowned tourist attractions like the Cliffs of Moher, Doolin Cave, the Burren, ferry to the Aran islands, to name but a few......
The location of this home is also ideal for those who enjoy the outdoors - with the Burren (famous for its rare flora and fauna) within 5 minutes drive away, and a little further afield (in two different directions) are the beautiful beaches of Lahinch and Fanore, both of which are well known among surfing enthusiasts.
