"Casa Bella" Ocean Front home. Location, Location, Location! Is a private THREE bedroom, FOUR full bathroom custom built home, perched front and center above Portuguese Beach. Comfortable for up to 8 guests, every room has unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy watching a variety of birds, ospreys, hawks, pelicans, seagulls, shorebirds, hummingbirds and fat California quail. Also an abundant of wildlife includes cottontail bunnies, deer, foxes, whales, seals, and a resident Bobcat! Don't forget to bring your binoculars, cameras and flip-flops.

Beautifully landscaped with a fabulous protected courtyard allows you to relax and enjoy our Italian fountain, flowers, sitting area, and has a gas BBQ, got oysters? Or looking out West from this lovely home, watch awesome sunsets, migrating whales and all the wildlife activity it has to offer.

As you enter this unforgettable home you will find a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, fresh linens, towels, pillows and comfy beds. Formal dining room, family room with a wood stove and a spacious loft where you can sit and just stare at the ocean waves rolling towards you. Watch commercial fisherman, party boats, read a good book or check out a subscription to Coastal Living magazine. There is a flat screen T.V. Large selection of DVD movies, you can't leave Bodega Bay without watching Alfred Hitchcock's movie "The Birds". There is a Bose CD player, with AM/FM radio, a huge music library, books, games, cards, puzzles, etc...

Getting to the beach, no problem! Just a minute walk to the State maintained path and steps to the sand and sea. You can beach comb, collect shells, beach glass and driftwood. Stroll down the scenic coastline and observe starfish, mussels clinging to the rough rocks, tide pools, and a lot more for you to explore!

Local attractions include: Golfing, hiking, biking, kayaking, surfing, sport fishing and horse back riding on the beach. Visit local wineries, quaint little marinas, restaurants, shopping at galleries, candy, kite, and saltwater taffy stores.

Spending the Holidays? We decorate our home from stem to stern and you will ooh and ah over our 12ft. Christmas tree with meticulously placed ornaments and 1,500 sparkling white lights!

  • We spent our 19th anniversary at Casa Bella in late September and had a blast! The weather was warm, water was calm, and house was perfect. As the girls skim boarded, my husband and I made fools of ourselves boogie boarding in the bay and haven't laughed so hard in a long, long time. The easy walk to the beach was a plus---no goat path to clammer down after a long day of self abuse in the surf. Easy steps greatly appreciated! Thanks again!

  • The house is in excellent condition, clean and very quiet and comfortable. The ocean views couldn't be much better. It is also a very short walk to the ocean. We visited the house in late July and took a number of walks on the beach. There are very few people there, even though it is great for walking or sun bathing. I strongly recommend this rental.

  • We had a great family reunion at Casa Bella. There were 17 people in and out over 5 days and everyone was comfortable and had a good time. Kayaking on Valley Ford slough was excellent. The most fun we had was making giant bubbles and sending them up the hill on the gentle updrafts. It was a magical stay.

  • Dear Mia, We came upon your unique home on the ocean and couldn't believe what you offer. Your delightful home is stocked with every little thing I could think I needed and more that I hadn't even thought of. My eighty-four year old mom, her seventy-nine year old sister and my sixty and fifty-two year old sisters were so comfortable in your wonderful, clean place. We cooked until we couldn't eat anymore and found your kitchen perfect. Having four bathrooms made getting ready easy with all these women. The loft ia a wonderful place to gather to watch movies(and yep, we watched The Birds) and view the incredible sights of the ocean. Walking across the street to the beach enabled me to embrace the beauty and ponder the meaning of life. Ha! I hope to return soon and thank you for all your attention to the details. Casa Bella could also be called.... A Slice of Heaven.
