Year Purchased: 1953
Two families have lived in this house since Robert Paterson, a building contractor, designed and built it for his family in 1953. You don't see many houses like it anymore-- incredible architectural detail and fine touches through the house, as well as terrific family spaces. We've worked to update it over the past 20 years, and now the house is a great blend of beach house charm and modern utility. We love sharing our home with others, and we hope you'll find it as relaxing as we have all these years.

For us, the Jersey Shore is all about family, and generations of kids have enjoyed playing on the beach. This is the place where we come together, and it's perfect for reunions.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The size of the house gives everyone a place to be by themselves, and there are wonderful common areas. This is one of very few remaining houses on LBI built on two lots, so there is a full front yard, back yard, porch and garage, as well as a four car driveway. The space allows for a peaceful vacation without being crammed up against your neighbors. 12th street is the widest on the island, which makes it safer, but also fun for sports.
