"Crows Nest" Like being at the top of a tall ship, panoramic Pacific Ocean views! This beautiful comfortable FOUR bedroom, two full bath home welcomes you and 8-12 guests. Fully equipped with fresh linens, towels and a washer/dryer.
When you walk through the gate a gorgeous garden greets you with flowers, herbs, buzzing hummingbirds, bird bath, picnic table, chairs and a BBQ gas grill all await you. Enjoy our large deck view of rolling hills behind you, watch a full moon come up, or enjoy a nice glass of wine on a starry night. No neighbors to the North, just some happy California cows and their calves grazing the lush sloping green pastures down to the sea. Got bucks? We do, big antlers/horns and lots of deer, fawns, foxes, bobcats, and bunnies. Just a 5 minute walk down to the beach an array of seabirds, shells, beach glass, seals, seagulls, driftwood, starfish, and tide pools all waiting for you to explore.
Walk through the front door and it feels like home. Big family room with high ceilings, leather couch, comfy chairs, wood burning stove, TV, VCR, DVD, CD player, large picture windows, a spotting scope for your pleasure!
Formal dining area, gourmet kitchen, cookbooks, large selection of pots and pans, tea, coffee, cream, and sugar provided.
Upstairs are three bedrooms with great ocean views, and a full bath. sitting area with recliner a built in couch with big colorful pillows, huge bookcase full of good books, surely something for everyone to enjoy. Stunning views of the garden below and rolling hills. The master bedroom is downstairs with it's own full bath, wood stove, awesome ocean and pasture views!
Local attractions and favorite places include, golfing, shopping, horseback riding on the beach, surfing, sports fishing, biking, kayaking, galleries, local wineries, candy and kite stores, great restaurants with locally caught fresh seafood!

What an amazing weekend we had at the Crows Nest! It was the perfect home for a large family to enjoy cooking together, playing games, reading, and short easy walks to the beach. It had everything we could have wanted. Mia made our arrangements so easy and was such a pleasure to work with. We can't wait to go back!

We loved spending our Girls Wine Weekend at the Crow's Nest. The house is clean and well maintained. There were 5 of us and we each had our own space for sleeping. There was everything we needed to enjoy breakfast and dinners at "home" and relax for the evening. We loved watching the wildlife every morning and evening. The cows were great neighbors, the grey fox entertained us as did the black tail deer. Mia recommended Alicia to provide transportation for our wine tour, which was great, we highly recommend using her. We loved dinner at Rivers End, some of us thought it was the beast meal we ever had. We recommend Armstrong Woods for Red Woods. Of course watching the movie The Birds and then viewing the church and the school were fun as well. We loved Crows Nest and the area.

My family and I had a wonderful time at Crow's Nest. The rolling grassy hillside and winding streets were perfect for family walks. The closest beach is just a walk down the hill or a one minute drive away! This house is perfect for a large family. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. My favorite aspect of the house was the large floor to ceiling windows which offered beautiful views of the ocean, pasture and rolling hillside. This house is a nature-lovers dream. Spacious inside and out, close to Bodega Bay, Petaluma and Sebastopol... Our experience was so nice, we plan to return. Mia is a gem... what a pleasure to work with her. She was friendly, helpful and efficient.

For the first time in 5 years-- 6 of my best friends from college and I came to Northern California for a Wine Trip! I am so grateful to have stumbled across the Crow's Nest! It was the perfect amount of distance from the business of larger cities such as Sonoma and Napa. However, the drive there and back was beautiful and calming. We spent many nights staying in, cooking dinner, drinking wine, catching up on life, reminiscing, and laughing a lot. Thank you Mia, for being so helpful through the entire process of renting, staying, and checking in with us! I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay- and a more wonderful vacation!! We'll definitely be back!!!

Our annual girl's trip was held at Crow's Nest this past weekend. 8 women together for 3 days. The beach, wine, games, great conversation and bonding time. This home was walking distance to a very clean and comfortable beach. We enjoyed the walks in the neighborhood. It was a quiet area and very enjoyable. The home was plenty big for 8 people and everyone had room to be together and play games or eat or watch movies, but there was also private space when anyone wanted a little 'me' time. The BBQ and patio were great to have for our gathering as well. We were very pleased overall and would certainly come back.

CROWS NEST is a wonderful place. This was our second stay. The owners are excellent to work with and are great communicators. Thanks Mia!!! We liked it so much last year we stayed 8 nights this year. The house is relaxing and has all the comforts of home. In your life how many times do you watch the sun sizzle as it sets into the ocean. We added another 8 pictures of that in to our memories. We took the dogs and there is a great fenced in area for them. We had family over to the coast one day for a BBQ of oysters and prawns. Again this place is wonderful and we look forward to our third stay next year.

The crow's nest worked extremely well for our large group. 4 bedrooms and a sitting loft provided great sleeping areas out of the way of the main living area. We loved waking up to the ocean view and going to sleep staring at the stars thru the large windows. We didn't bring any pets, but being a pet owner, I could definitely see the advantages of this space. We enjoyed bbq'ing out on the patio and walking down to the beach. Mia was very responsive and friendly to any questions we had. All interactions with Mia were done via email and everything went smoothly. Highly recommended spot for large groups looking to get away and not be disturbed.

Crows Nest is a wonderful vacation house. It is beautiful and well maintained. It is appointed with everything you need and is in a beautiful setting. We used the house for a family weekend and it housed grandparents, parents, kids and a dog comfortably. The owners are great to work with and very accommodating. And, of course, Bodega Bay is absolutely beautiful. The house is not only great, but it is in a wonderful location with easy access to all that the area has to offer.

A wonderful experience for a beautiful Thanksgiving with kids and grandchildren. This house is comfy and inviting with beautiful views. Very friendly for small children. I rented Crows Nest for a long weekend with good friends. This was a beautiful place in a gorgeous setting - perfect to just hang out and relax. The kids loved running around in the large yard and looking at the cows in the field just next to us. We all enjoyed relaxing and taking in the gorgeous views from all windows. Fantastic location, fabulous place. And it was an easy place to be with kids - we had 4 year olds & a 6 month old. Definitely a place I'd love to return to again.
