Located in Plymouth, on the Wareham border, our home is a perfect relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting. Our home was just repainted inside and out in 2009. There are new draperies and some new appliances, and more updating is planned for 2010. Current pics do not represent the upgrades yet! We have over 100 feet of sandy lakefront beach, with clear water on White Island Pond - one of the larger lakes in the Plymouth/Wareham area. There is ample opportunity for fishing, boating, swimming, canoeing, kayaking or simply relaxing in the water. Reading a good book on the beach, patio, or deck would also work well!
Within 10 - 15 minutes drive are most stores and other amenities, such as dining, museums, antiquing, golf, ocean fishing, whale watching, 'Duck Tours', spa services and a water park. Take a run, bike ride or stroll along the Cape Cod Canal. Outlet shopping is also a 15 minute drive. Downtown Plymouth, with Plymouth Plantation and the Mayflower are a 20 minute drive. Boston is 50 minutes away, and the ferry to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket is a 30 minute drive. We also have a lighted horseshoe pit for nighttime fun if stargazing is not enough!
And for added enjoyment, we just painted and refurbished 2009/2010!

- Beachfront : Our home is on 100 feet of our own private beach. Adjacent to us is another 200 foot semiprivate beach which is also available. The 2 beaches are separated by trees, giving us a private setting. Fishing from the beaches, docks is allowed.
