This beautiful retreat is simply the best place to stay in Poipu.
The house has been furnished with custom made furniture and art from local artists.
The home is slightly elevated to receive the trade winds and has a view of the ocean. Sleep at night to the sounds of the waves breaking at Shipwreck Beach.
The house was designed to blend the indoor and outdoor environments into a single island experience. The grounds of the house are surrounded by lava rock walls and are beautifully landscaped. There is a large private pool. The house is built around a lush courtyard with a waterfall that provides a soothing backdrop to your activities.
Each room opens to a private lanai. The master bedroom has a private outdoor courtyard with a large lava rock shower.
There is a full gourmet kitchen, outdoor grill and three separate eating areas. Inside the double garage, you will find all of the things you need to enjoy the beaches and hiking trails that are minutes away. You can also walk to some of the finest places to eat and shop on the island.

This property is splendid and everything advertised is accurate, if not even somewhat understated. There are 2 areas that don't easily translate in the original write-up: 1) ammenities/creature comforts and 2) the overall "vibe" of the property. Regarding ammenities: everything was abundant and quality. The cookware, the grill, the beach towels, beach bags, snorkel equipment, boogie boards, etc. etc - all of it - there is just so much and all of it not only better than you'd expect in a rental - the quality of stuff you would purchase for yourself. Regarding the "vibe": The house is aptly named. It is decorated beautifully and the layout is very open - tradewinds blow through the entire house - there is no sense of any kind of sterile feeling. The house is loved by it's owner and very personable - the house is nurtured (by the owner) and in return nurtures it's guests. We felt as though the owner invited us to a special experience and wanted to give to us. In short, we felt like (invited) guests and not renters. mahalo

We just got back from an absolutely incredible week at this gorgeous home. It just might be the most lovely location and beautiful house in Poipu. The location is just fabulous - minutes from the Hyatt where you can enjoy restaurants and cocktails, and 10 minutes from Poipu beach, which is stunning and a PERFECT beach for children. The house is stunning - we really didnt want to leave. The pool is amazing and comfortable, the grounds are gorgeous, and the house has everything you could possibly dream of (even a ping pong table!). The owner, Laura, was so responsive and easy to work with. It was also such a wonderful experience we cant wait to go back. I am still so sad our week is over. :( Next time we'll go for two! All the best!

My family just returned from a fabulous stay in your wonderful, comfortable home in Poipu Kai. We had the best time. Everything about the house was wonderful. The three minute walk to Shipwreck Beach and the Grand Hyatt was ideal and I spent many mornings wandering the beach......The family spent many hours in the sparkling pool laughing, playing volleyball, having raft races, etc...... A nice plus in the kitchen were all the spices you could ever need! We can't wait to come back!

We have stayed In Many vacation rentals and are always very picky about location/luxury/surroundings etc, Laura's home is the best that we have ever rented, from the location, well equipped pantry, lovely pool, amazing outdoor shower, you will want for nothing here, in fact you may never want to leave, great kitchen, tons of spices and kitchen essentials, a rare find in most rentals. All In all this is a dream vacation rental. Thank you Laura for sharing your home with us.

This place is paradise - we even got to live through a non-tsunami!! The house is beautiful - so many spots in the sun and shade to chill, swim, relax, shower, sleep, bbq - whatever one's heart desires! The convenient location next to the Hyatt provided a springboard to amazing hikes, vistas and dining fun! Can't go wrong in this house, which is truly a home!
