  I have nothing but positive comments about our stay! We decided to take our parents on vacation for their birthdays, Mother’s Day, & Father’s Day. We couldn’t have chosen a better place. Their lake home was very clean & setup nicely with lots of room to spread out for personal space. Mr. Bobby & Mrs. Carolyn are very sweet, down-to-earth, country people. They made us feel very welcome and like they had always known us. We’ve rented many times over the last few years through VRBO.com. This home was by far much better equipped in the kitchen – crockpot, skillets, pots, electric skillet, blender, mixer, coffee pot, toaster, iron skillets, cookie sheets, plates, cups, cooking utensils, silverware, tea jugs, mixing bowls, storage bowls, measuring cups & spoons, and even a waffle iron! And several sizes and plenty of each. We cooked at least one full meal for 5-7 adults every day for an entire week and I can’t think of even one thing we didn’t have! There was a very good fish-cleaning station set up in the garage, a chest-type freezer and even a couple different sizes of charcoal grills available. The fishing was pretty good too, but even if it hadn’t been, it was just nice to be out on the water enjoying the beautiful weather! I could continue on many more examples, but by now, I think you get the point. We have definitely found a great vacation spot that we will return to many times in the future! Our 4-legged babies approved too. We always looked forward to seeing Heinz and Chloe on our frequent daily walks with them. Thank you so much Mr. Bobby and Mrs. Carolyn for the wonderful hospitality you extended to us and our family! We look forward to seeing you both again very soon! ;-)

  Just as pictures show, and there were a couple of nice updates. Owners are super people and are nearby if needed. Everything was nice, clean, and very orderly. We enjoyed the spaciousness, the deck, the jacuzzi, the rain on the tin roof one afternoon, and the buttermilk pie--delicious! Hope to book another visit to this really nice property.

  Owners were so nice. We had a great time! Has swimg downstairs that my daughter loved, fishing was good even if it was November.Too many wonderful things to list!

  Great and very clean. LOVE the German Chocolate cake. Kids had a great time. Some of the best people anyone could ever meet. We will come again.

  My family so enjoyed our stay at this spacious well kept home on Lake Wedowee. The owners treat you like family and are just so sweet and thoughtful! The home is on great water and it was easy to dock our jet skies. We will definitley go back to visit again! I appreciate all the hospitality extended to us!!

  Our family was looking for a place that did not have much road traffic or water traffic and this place was perfect. Bobby and Carolyn were so nice. They were very informative while we were booking our trip and after we arrived. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Our children were wishing we could have stayed longer. We would recommend this property to all of our friends and relatives. Thank you to Bobby and Carolyn for sharing your home with us!!

  Property was as described- pictures accurate. Clean and well-stocked- incredibly nice owners. Recommend to families- worked great for us with 2 adult children and son-in-law. Secluded place on the lake- very quiet even on Labor Day weekend. Would recommend to family and friends and would come again.
