Beach Retreat is a small quaint gated beach community featuring 44 condos. We have a beautifully landscaped pool and private beach. The unobstructed view from Beach Retreat 207 features the emerald blue green water of the Gulf of Mexico.
The community also has a fitness center on site available to visitors.
This unit has it all. Granite, Tile, Pet Friendly, Blu Ray Player in Living Room, Free Wifi, DVD's and Flat Screen TVS in other rooms.
Everything was completely redecorated in 2011.
On a rainy day enjoy Netflix streaming movies from the Living Room

We stayed this past September. We really like the condo and the location! We had an awesome time! It was very comfy. And a short walk to the beach. Again, the pictures don't do this condo justice! You have to see it in person.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

The only reason I rated this as 'good' instead of 'excellent' was because there was some renovations being made in the unit above us and on some days it was pretty loud. I don't fault anyone for this but it would have been nice to know...My family enjoyed staying here very much. The view is the best. The pool was heated and clean, the grounds were clean. The unit itself was wonderful-the kitchen was a pleasure to use, the decor of the unit was really nice, tasteful and thought out..... Not typical cheesy Florida...The balcony was comfy too, with cushioned seats. Top of the line. Our child loved the tv's in the bunk beds although we couldn't get the dvd player to work. We will definately be back!!

We stayed the week of 4th of July and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo is beautiful! Very nice and what we are accustomed to. Right on the beach front and you get an umbrella set up for you each day. I would suggest going out a little early to talk to the lifeguard if there is a specific one that you want. You can walk to Pompano Joes or Captain Dave's for dinner both of which have outdoor beachfront dining and great views of the beach and sunset. Overall a wonderful stay and would do so again. The only caveat is that the 2nd bedroom is very small with two bunk beds only. So it would be great with two children but maybe not so much with two other adults.
Owner response:Thank you so much for your review. You are right, the bunk room is perfect for a family with children or single adults that don't mind the small space. It is very nice that each bunk has it's own TV and a DVD player shared between the bunks. The bunk room also has a pocket door for privacy. However, couples would probably much rather have a king or queen bed and more space.
