It is just a short stroll to a private park and beach located right on Lake Erie. At this park you will find playground equipment, charcoal grills for your picnicking and a new beach. There is a fishing pier where you can view the sights of Lake Erie, Cedar Point and the Lake Erie Islands with Fantastic Sunrises/Sunsets. Just a few miles away you will find well manicured swimming and shelling beaches.
Looking for adventure? Just 5 miles to the west you will find many water parks and a great variety of restaurants. Fishing charters are available. Huron Boat Basin offers free weekend entertainment. Looking for Shopping? Sandusky Mall is one exit away on State Route 250 via conveniently located State Route 2. This house is located within 20 minutes of the Ohio Turnpike. If Island Hopping is in your plans, you can walk onto the Jet Express in Sandusky, Ohio and take a leisurely cruise to Put-in-Bay and Kelleys Island, with its world famous glacial grooves or take a tour of Lake Erie on the Goodtime II Cruise Line.
Other local highlights include Thomas Edison's home and museum, Seneca Caverns, Wineries, Estuaries Biking & Walking trails and Port Clinton, the Walleye Capital of the World (located 20 minutes away).
