The home features a beautiful outdoor wooden staircase. The landing halfway up the stairs is a great place for sunbathing. At the top of the stairs there is a large balcony - a great place for reading or even early morning coffee - while overlooking the lake.
The living/dining areas have large windows letting in plenty of sunlight if desired. The pull-out couch in the living room adds extra sleeping room. A lovely master bedroom & bath are to the right as you enter the living room. To the left is a 2nd bedroom with a queen bed.
Downstairs there is an additional bathroom as well a bunkroom that sleeps 9.
A huge yard ensures plenty of room for volleyball, horseshoes and outdoor cooking. A boat ramp is located just a few feet away.
Paradise at Lake Placid is conveniently located 25 miles from the San Antonio Riverwalk, Sea World & Fiesta, Texas and less than 20 miles from Schlitterbahn & Gruene. Rated one of the 10 best golf courses in Texas, The Bandit is a short 10 minute drive away. A municipal golf course is located just 5 minutes away. 10 FREE tennis courts are available just a short 6 minute drive away. Tennis lessons are also available - contact us for details. Great shopping is available at the San Marcos Tanger Outlet Mall- only 25 miles from Paradise at Lake Placid. The drive to the state capital (Austin) is 50 miles and Houston is 165 miles east on I-10.

Why the Owner Chose Lake Placid
Even though I had lived in this area for many years I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered the Lake Placid area. I fell in love with the area immediately.
Try ChiroJava's for sandwiches & coffee. Also Amy & Cathy's for great sandwiches. The courthouse square is lovely.
