This lovely secluded adobe casita/condominium with mountain vistas sits in a quiet hillside setting at the Pueblo Encantado resort community in the district of Tesuque. Tesuque Village is just a short highway drive (10 minutes) northwest from the downtown Santa Fe Plaza and minutes from the famous Tesuque Flea Market and the Santa Fe Opera. The 5 star Auberge Encantado spa and restaurant is across the road, so a great bar, fine dining and spa treatments are just a short walk away.
Want to get back to nature? Nearby trails take you right into the heart of the Santa Fe National Forest. Like to ski or snowboard? You are 30 minutes from the Santa Fe Ski Basin and 75 minutes from the Taos Ski Mountain! Gourmet dining? You're quickly at the extraordinary restaurants of Santa Fe (or just walk across the street!) Like to browse the galleries? Check out the special ones right in Tesuque, drive thirty minutes up to Truchas in the mountains, or head down the scenic Bishop's Lodge Road to stroll the world-renowned art world of Canyon Road.
What makes this unique unit the premier address at Pueblo Encantado? We offer an all-new master bath suite with double vanity and large walk-in shower, passive solar construction and a location on the edge of the property guaranteeing privacy and unobstructed views for 50 miles across the Rio Grande Valley. Our big double patio extends the length of the home...spend a few minutes in the sun or dining outdoors under the stars and you'll have trouble ever leaving.
Floor-to-ceiling windows provide beautiful views of the Rio Grande Valley and the Jemez mountains, including our spectacular Santa Fe sunsets. This luxurious home is on two levels. On the first level, the living room is furnished with leather convertible sofa and a recliner and decorated in the Southwestern style. A new wood fireplace and stereo system complete the package. Also on the first level is a spacious master bedroom suite with Kiva fireplace and flat-screen TV/DVD. The upgraded master bath is done in Mexican tiles with two hand-painted Mexican sinks and a spectacular tiled walk-in shower. This bedroom suite has its own private entrance and patio.
The upper level features a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen, a large dining room, a second bedroom (may be done as two twins or a king bed) and bath, plus a closet with washer and dryer.
This property also has a community pool (a rare treat in Santa Fe), with breathtaking views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains (open only May to October). All the buildings in this complex are single story, semi-detached adobe casitas nestled discreetly in a country setting that offers an enchanted escape from the usual vacation hassles. All the city attractions of Santa Fe are minutes away, yet your ideal north side location also puts you quickly on the way to Taos, the High Road to Chimayo, the hot springs at Ojo Caliente, and the beautiful drive into Georgia O'Keefe country. You can access the airport in Albuquerque in about an hour using the by-pass highway 599 that goes around Santa Fe proper.
Please note that check-out is at 10:00 a.m. and check-in at 4:00 p.m. (to allow for cleaning). Early arrivals cannot be accommodated because of the cleaning schedule.

Why the Owner Chose Pueblo Encantado
As the property description details, Pueblo Encantado offers a private retreat yet is minutes from the best of Santa Fe. We bought this particular unit because of its prime location on the edge of the property, commanding an unobstructed view of the Rio Grande Valley and featuring a large porch that is very private.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
Using the spa and bar and restaurant across the street at Encantado Resort; taking walks in the hills; shopping at the Flea Market; skiing at the Basin and Taos; going to the Opera; eating at the Tesuque Village Market Cafe; spending hours doing nothing on the patio.

Last year we were fortunate enough to experience this wonderful "hide away" during the beauty of Summer. This year we experienced the splendor of the Fall. Hard to pick which is preferred, because they both offer so much magnificence!! What a prize! We love the peace and quiet! Being awakened to sounds of birds chirping (one I named "Chatty Kathy") and no other sound. We are restored. Thanks for sharing the magic!

We had an amazing stay! The house was perfect--great size--and so quiet! We all enjoyed Santa Fe and the town of Tesuque down the road. But most of all enjoyed sitting and eating on the patio. So peaceful.

Our week was filled with the splendor of approaching Fall. The winds, the colors, the birdsong and the rising moon delighted our senses. We explored such a variety of beautiful sights provided by nature and man. Your home was a comforting retreat each day as we celebrated our experiences over home cooked meals and rested by the warm fireplace. Everything was appreciated and the details, candles, firewood etc. made us feel "at home." Thank you.

We've just returned from a wonderful week at this lovely Tesuque condo. Potential renters should know that while it is technically a condo, it has the feel and privacy of a private home--a very well-appointed private home! We loved the location and took short hikes up the local hills to enjoy our morning coffee or to watch the gorgeous sunsets. After a day in Santa Fe proper, or after a day hiking, the generous patio space provided a welcome respite. We've rented many vacation homes, but this Tesuque gem has risen to the top of our lengthy list. We are talking about making it a yearly family tradition.

This was a perfect place--wonderful view, well appointed and incredibly quiet. Easy drive into town but we felt very secluded. Loved it and would go back in a minute!
