Located in the gated community of Fairway Oaks, a subdivision within Oak Run, this is a beautifully appointed 2000+ square foot "Monaco" executive styled home, with a lanai that faces the 11th green of the Oak Run Golf course. The minimum rental period is one month.
An expansive gourmet kitchen opens to the great room and dining room ideal for entertaining with a panoramic view of the golf course. In addition to the 2 bedroom/2 bath rooms, there is a den with a sleeper sofa, so this house can comfortably accommodate 6 people. TV's are located in the Master bedroom, Den, Great room and on the Lanai.
Located 10 miles SW of downtown Ocala,off State Road 200. There are many fine shops,restaurants and golf courses to choose from. As a renter, you have access to the six pools, fitness center/gymnasium, library and social events. Please note that this is an "over 55 community" with many activities for baby boomers. Children under the age of 18 cannot stay longer than one month.

Why the Owner Chose Ocala
We've been coming down here since 1998 and just love the privacy our home affords us and the ability to walk to the golf clubhouse, fitness center and pools. Being centrally located in Ocala allows us to visit Orlando and Walt Disney World to the south, Daytona and St Augustine to the east and Cedar Key on the gulf for their wonderful restaurants and breathtaking sunsets. Within Oak Run, there are many ammenities, activities and groups to join.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Did I mention golf? Other than the Oak Run Golf Club right in our backyard, there are many other courses to choose from within a 10 mile radius. We really enjoy our visits to nearby Rainbow Springs with our Basset Hound Lilly. Our neighbors are fantastic, and there's never a shortage of wonderful parties and get togethers. The neighborhood is quiet and serene. Many of our rentors are interested in purchasing a home here in Oak Run, and we believe in the "try it before you buy it" method of exploring a potential move.

My wife Gaylee and I are from Minneapolis, Minnesota, and while we love the four seasons here, it's great to be able to go down to Ocala and continue playing golf and take in the warm weather. We enjoy cooking and entertaining among friends, gardening, as well as walking our Basset Hound Lilly.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay and found the home clean, comfortable, well-maintained, and very convienient to restaurants, shopping, etc. The gated community is friendly and offers beautiful pools, exercise facility, golf course, etc. Owner responded to our questions almost immediately. We would stay here again!

As former residents of Oak Run, we were happy to find a vacation rental there. It is a beautiful community with friendly people, and you don't need to go outside the gates for anything you want to do. Also, the surrounding area has great shopping and restaurants. The owners were professional to work with. And, their lovely home has all the comforts of home. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Our stay at the LeDour home was fantastic. The home is well cared for, equipped with everything you could possibly need, extremely spacious and has a beautiful view of the golf course. The neighbors were all friendly and helpful, which also added to the enjoyment of our two month stay. It is the perfect place to spend some time.
