This oceanfront beach house was the perfect retreat for a beary special birthday weekend. Felt like home from our first step through the door. The panoramic views of the ocean were breathtaking – quite picturesque!

The home was fully equipped with everything we could have needed from linens to pots & pans. There was also an outside shower for rinsing off sand from excursions to the beach. With two double car garages, there was ample parking available for our party as well.

You may have heard great grandpa bear tell the story about ‘Goldie Locks and the Three Bears’ and how he liked his bed firm and hard. Well, I must admit this next generation appreciates true comfort. All of the beds at this beach house in Seaside were like sleeping on a cloud – once you layed down, your entire body was supported in complete relaxation. I couldn’t help but close my eyes and say, “This is just right.”

This incredible vacation rental has something for everyone:
• stroll through the dunes to the beach
• make a fire on the sand before sunset to roast marshmallows and sing songs
• relax in a comfy chair reading a good book with the view of the ocean at a glance
• bake a cake in the fully equipped kitchen
• watch a movie and lounge on the couch
• stroll the Seaside Promenade and take in the sites
• visit local art galleries, restaurants, and specialty shops, or
• take a short 7 mile drive to Cannon Beach to shop and take pictures of the incredible Haystack Rock

  This house really is the nicest! It is beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable. Our family loved it! The views of the ocean were fabulous! There is an easy path to the beach even for the older folks. It is not recommended for handicap folks, however, as there are lots of stairs to the main floor and master bedroom.

  This property was perfect for my extended family; which included several teenagers and young adults, to enjoy spring break at the Oregon Coast. The views were spectacular and the location was perfect. I would highly recommend this proprety to families with teenagers as they had the basement to themselves at night and were proximate to all the fun on the promenade during the day.

  The location is great. We loved our stay. Great walks on the beach. The blender was broken and some of the kitchen things were getting old. We will come again

  Owner response: Thank you for you suggestion to evaluate all the home items. We do work hard at keeping all items in good condition and replace as needed. It has been 5 years since our last major upgrades, we will be evaluation all our home supplies; replaceing old and/or worn items.   What a lovely midwinter break our entire, multigenerational family just had for 3 nights in this lovely home. It is well equipped, clean & comfortable. The views of the ocean are so close accompanied by some dunes for privacy. It was a great weekend & we were so sorry to leave. Will be back & will recommend it to friends too.

  The two living rooms in this home are absolutely amazing, and the view and access to the beach are too. Four couples celebrated New Years here together and we all had a wonderful time. The beach is right out in front and the end of the Prom is a few steps to the left of the house, which makes it feel peaceful and secluded as there's not a parade of people walking between the home and the ocean. In the morning we all gathered in the ocean-side living room, drinking coffee and watching the ocean, and in the evening we sat facing the big gas-ignition (a brilliant idea-no kindling or paper needed!), wood burning fireplace soaking up the warmth and cozy ambiance. The other living room, at the other side of the house, was beautiful too and great for those who wanted to watch tv or play games while others enjoyed the peacefulness of the ocean or fireplace. The downstairs is more suited to kids, but provides extra beds for couples. We also appreciated the updated appliances, including washer and dryer, and cleaning laundry supplies. It was well worth the cost, we didn't want to leave, and would love to go back.

  OMG!!! This is a fabulous home. Totally a Class A property. . Location, appearance and amenities were as listed and more than expected!! This home is a quality built home; had everything as listed and then some. Property was clean and very well maintained. Had everything your home would have including dishes, pots and pans, towels, even trash bags and cleaning supplies. Stainless steel appliances including washer and dryer. Took family of 8 here for Christmas holiday; everyone loved it and did not want to leave. It was wonderful to walk off the deck and onto the sand dunes - none of which blocked the view from inside. Short walk on the promanade or on the beach to the shops and attractions. Worth every penny and would return in a heart beat!

  I was looking for a vacation rental home big enough to support my extended family that would be joining me for a holiday. I have two kids, 8 and 12, who loved their bunk-room. My mother-in-law had a pretty room next to the kids, with a nice big bathroom with twin sinks between them. My husband is 6.5” so we were appreciative of the very comfortable king-size bed in the Master…which also has an incredible view and en-suite bathroom. Downstairs, there was a nice suite with a tv and a few more beds for other family members. It was very separate and comfortable, with another bathroom. I was sold on this lovely home just by reviewing the pictures. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised that it was even lovelier than expected and very well appointed with higher-end furnishings. The ocean-view is incredible, and can be seen from many parts of the house. I liked that it was on a quiet stretch of beach yet close enough to walk to town. I especially loved having two separate areas for my family to conjugate. There is a very comfortable family room with lots of seating and a TV. This was great for movies and setting up the kids with puzzles and games. Then, there was the separate "ocean-view" living room, also with lots of seating. There is a fire-place, which we didn't take advantage of this time. This area was a nice respite from the "kids/tv/puzzles/games". The dining room table had ample space for the 8 of us. Great updated kitchen, with plenty of nice dishes and other tableware. The WiFi came in handy. I highly recommend this home and will plan to stay there again.

  My 11 high school friends who have annual weekends away together found this home during our 2011 weekend. We thought then it would be perfect for us and we were correct. The home was exactly what we'd hoped for. Right on the beach, beautifully decorated and enough beds for us all so no one needed to be on a couch or air mattress. The location was perfect for getting to the downtown area. We enjoyed hanging out in the living room, cooking amazing food and walking downtown. Our highlight was to have an old-time photo taken of the 12 of us. Great memories and a pleasant rental experience. Thank you Sean for your quick responses to my questions and making it easy for us.

  Home was very nice. The beds were very comfortable and the view was spectacular. The home was modern and up-to-date. Large kitchen provided for our every need. The family room was large, had a nice TV and a big table that we used to play games. The 3 bathrooms came in very handy for our large group. Biggest advantage is that it is a couple blocks from the boardwalk so you didn't have a lot of foot traffic in front of the house. Wifi was also a great feature. Only difficulties were the refrigerator got up into the 50s the first couple nights we were there, and the dryer took quite a while to dry clothes. We had a large group, so laundry was a constant when we were at the home. We spent a lot of time at the beach and in town, so wasn't a big draw back, but still had a lot of clothes and stuff to wash (which wasn't a problem), it was just getting them dry. I would highly recommend this home to any family looking for a special family outing. We love going to Mo's in Canon Beach, and also rent the electric carts to drive around Seaside. We also go to Pig n' Pancakes for breakfast at least two of the mornings when we go to Seaside. Did not care for the one in Astoria, and Cannon Beach has one also, but that one is a bit on the small side and it closes I believe at 2 PM. We have been doing this for 8 years (since I retired from the military) and while this is our first time in this home, it was the best of all we have been in to date. The pictures of the view of the ocean are as good as advertised. Spectacular. Overall pictures of the house don't really show how big this home really is. The downstairs is very roomy and gave the kids a chance to be alone when they wanted, while the adults upstairs could enjoy the view, sit on the deck, or relax in the Family room. This home has had a lot of work done on it, and it was neat to review the photo album showing what the home used to be like compared to what it is now. My wife and I stayed in the Master bedroom (with a private bath) and the view from that room was spectacular also. Having spent the last 20 years going up and down the Oregon coast, this home is superb. I originally thought the cost was a little high, but found it well worth the money. Would recommend to anyone looking for comfort and luxary with a great view.
