The views are fantastic as the house is oceanfront and the Seaside boardwalk is a very short walk from the house. The Seaside Aquarium which seems to be Victorian in origin, swing sets on the beach, Lewis and Clark history, and downtown Seaside with shops, restaurants, and bumper cars are all within walking distance. Myself, two sisters, and our families spent a really nice weekend together. We had a wide range of ages from 5 to 55 and we all love the place. The house has plenty of space to spread out. The property is clean. The beds are comfortable and even have a variety of pillows (soft pillows are hard to come by in travel). Everything you need in regard to soaps, towels, cleaners, dishes, and even some condiments and spices are provided. Pots, pans, cutting board, and can opener are included although we may bring our own next time since we like to cook in style. We put the charcoal grill to good use. We got our fresh seafood at nearby Bell Buoy Seafood, a little expensive but the Spring Salmon was excellent. Seaside has a Safeway grocery store and Warrenton has a Costco and Fred Meyers. And, oh yes, we will be back!

Two families convened here to kick off Spring Break and celebrate a birthday. Could not have been a more perfect house -- spacious, beyond well-appointed (wow!), and the perfect location for kids to walk down the promenade by themselves to the main part of town. Enough off the beaten track where you have privacy, which we really liked. Weather was superb. Our guests were SO impressed with this superb ocean front vacation home. Thanks, Sean and Anne! Ladies Beach Weekend

This is the second year my mom and I have rented this house, and it's by far the best rental we've had in the 20+ years we've been coming to Seaside. The house has plenty of space, is plushly decorated and has a large back deck. During our stay, we were invited over to the neighbor's rental house two doors down, which was larger and newer. This property had no deck overlooking the beach, and I much preferred our house. We were so sad to leave after four days, and vowed to rent it for at least 7 days next year. This rental is a steal at the listed price. Totally worth it!!!

Wonderful beach front house for girls get-away!

This was a terrific beach house for a girls get-away!! We had 11 gals (we all graduated high school together!) and we were so comfortable! Room enough for all! The layout is perfect - some of the night owls gathered in the Family Room - away from the bedrooms and did not disturb the others! The kitchen was great - we took turns cooking dinner and had everything we needed! The best thing though is the view! You are ocean front and we walked the beach and the boardwalk took us into town - where we shopped the great boutiques! We would recommend this to anyone who wants the best spot on the beach!

Perfect Beach Location

The beach house was clean and beautiful. Great location, the first night we walked in on the Promenade for dinner. During our stay we enjoyed exploring the coast from Astoria to Manzanita but also sitting on the deck and listening to the waves. There was just four of us but the house could have easily accommodated twice as many people. Great vacation house!

Sean: Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful beach house with us on September 10 through 12, 2011. The spacious floor plan and tasteful furnishings and decor were beyond our expectations even though we had seen pictures and read others' very complimentary reviews. It was a perfect spot to celebrate our anniversary and share memories and laughter with family and friends. Everyone loved the house! The location was also "over the top". Most of us enjoyed walks along the promenade and the easy access to the ocean and all of us enjoyed long hours watching the ocean from the comfort of the living room. The only down- side is that the three days went by much too quickly. We enjoyed every minute! The Freeman Family

Our family had such an enjoyable time together in this house. It was so comfortable and had such great views of the ocean and the boardwalk. It was not only fun to play on the beach, but walking the boardwalk that was close enough to the house was fun also. It takes you right into town where there's plenty of shopping, a carousel, lots of different rides that kids can play on, etc. We were lucky to be able to eat our dinner outside every night at their big picnic table, with plenty of room for our family of 11. Fires on the beach were so much fun! The whole trip was and I'm so blessed that we were able to find such a great place! The owner was always helpful in answering any questions or concerns too.

Our family enjoys traveling and we usually rent a house for our stays. We have come to have low expectations because many times people put their old, used furniture, linens, etc. in their vacation rentals... well not here. This beautifully furnished and decorated home with a spectacular view and close proximity to everything was amazing. We had a great family reunion and celebrated my mother's 80th birthday with memories of a lifetime. I highly recommend this home and look forward to taking the family there again soon. My family and I traveled to Oregon for part of our Spring Break. This property is everything the website says and more. The owners were very helpful and very pleasant to correspond with. Spring break at the ocean

This home is huge! We loved hanging out with each other here. There are virtually two large livingroom areas. The family room is upstairs, not downstairs (I couldn't tellby the pictures) so all the activites are upstairs but for sleeping. That makes the 2 bedrooms in the basement high on privacy though remote. Downtown Seaside was only a short walk away, grocery, thirft shops, theater, arcade all readily available but we felt like we had all the privacy we needed- just us and the ocean. Start the laundry early, takes longer than you think. We loved our Spring Break vacation, how awesome would this be in the summer!

What a lovely house! It fit our needs perfectly. We had our Thanksgiving there. A Wonderful location for walking to the prom,beach and stores. It was hard to leave the house with such great fews of the ocean. Which worked out nice when it was raining. We would definitly recommend this property.

We had a great time at your house in Seaside! We loved preparing meals with our extended family who came from Portland, Seattle, Sacramento and Roseville, CA. Family Memory Maker

Our children and grandchildren gathered together to celebrate a 60th birthday. This house was everything and more than what you we expected. There wasn't anything we needed that was not available. No matter what the weather is, there was plenty to do. You can enjoy the view of the ocean from a comfy couch, dining at the table, or even watching t.v. The view is actually better than what the pictures can portray! The house is arranged in a manner that groups of children or adults can be doing various things and not be interrupted. There just wasn't anything that we needed that was not provided, from well stocked kitchen, warm blankets and bedding, games, patio chairs, grill, even kites to fly! Everyone in our family had such a great time. We will definitely recommend this to our friends and would love to return sometime. Our children put it best: "We've nver gone anywhere that we enjoyed more!"

Annual Seaside Trip

My family goes to Seaside every year, and we have stayed in rental houses and hotels all over the city. This rental house was by far the best we've ever stayed in! So much space!! The house had a fabulous kitchen, bedrooms and the outdoor decks were phenominal. The house had everything you might need. It was clean and modern and a true pleasure to stay in. For the first time ever, we did not go out to dinner once, as it was more fun to cook and barbeque each night while watching the sun set. We are already talking about reserving our spot for next year. Can't wait!!

Wonderful house in a great location. We were there for five days and had a marvelous time. Lots of room for two grandkids, two daughters, son-in-law, mom and wife and me. The aminities and appliances in the house were top notch and added to the enjoyment. We were disappointed that the house is rented for the entire month of July 2011 as we would loved to have returned next year. We'll try again in 2012. Well done!!!

Our family (grandparents, parents and children) stayed in this house for a week this July and found it to be comfortable for all (great beds and comfortable furniture) and the location is fantastic. Just off the north end of the promenade. You can walk to anywhere in town! The views from the house and the deck are breathtaking. We spent every evening sitting on the deck watching the sunset. The house has lots of room for various activities - some of us even worked for a couple of days during our stay! We all give this house our highest rating! Thanks!

We rented your house for a Sister's Reunion and it worked out great! Our husbands were with us as well as a daughter (total of 7). The home is wonderful!! The pictures depict it perfectly! The weather was not great but it didn't dampen our spirits!! We loved just sitting and looking at the ocean! There was a minus tide while we were there and we were fascinated by all the clamdiggers on the beach. Your location close to the promenade is great! We definitely would recommend this home to anyone wanting a super oceanfront beach vacation!!

A good experience for myself and all my children. The upstairs of the house was well appointed and comfortable, with lots of room to spread out. The view of the dunes and the beach was great with only a short walk to town and yet privacy of not having the boardwalk and the people crowding your view. We would have liked to have brought our dog for the stay, he would have loved the area. It would have also been nice to have had the large gas BBQ grill working, or advance notice that it wasn't. The owner of the house was always easy to reach and helpful with our questions. We are looking forward to returning in the summer.

What an outstanding house! The views and beach access are terrific. It's a short walk or drive to downtown and groceries. It's the best equipped beach rental I've ever stayed in with everything you need, particularly in the kitchen (except a vegetable steamer). The owner is very responsive and professional. Check-in is a snap and I had my security deposit back 2 days after I turned the keys in. If you want a great Oregon Coast rental, I highly recommend this one!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Seaside at the beach house. The pictures accurately depicted the decor and furnishings of the home and several new things were added. It definitely had the look of a professional decorator! We had 3 families and 4 generations together for a family reunion. Everyone was pleased with what the accommodations had to offer. The kitchen was fabulously appointed with plenty of dishes for large groups, double flatware sets (looked like silver!)a multitude of utensils to please any cook (we had several)and state of the art appliances. Well done, Sean! One of the best things about the house is that it is not in the "thick" of the tourist area. We could walk to it and be away from it as we chose. I can honestly say it met our expectations and then some. The owner was even willing to personally deliver the keys to our hotel in Portland after we flew in because they had not arrived in the mail before we left SA. I would gladly recommend this property to anyone.

Our family of 10 had a fabulous time at this home in July, 2009. This was the perfect house for spending spring break with our kids. It is well stocked, very clean and beautifully decorated. It is very close to the boardwalk and downtown. The view is spectacular from many rooms in the house. Our kids (which are all in their 20's) liked the way the house was divided so that you could do many things without interrupting someone else but we were all still together. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a homey place to stay at Seaside. All of the kids said they'd like to return! Thank you for sharing your home.
