  My extend family and I take several trips around the Northwest ever year to catch up on what's is going on in everyones life. We generally have 17 to 20 people in our group and have had a hard time finding a home that was set up to accommodate that large of a group comfortably, until now. The Elk Landing Lodge is the perfect vacation home. For large groups there's plenty of comfortable beds (our kids love the bunk room), 6 large bathrooms for the 7 bedrooms and tons of space to spread out. On the flip side, the great room and lower bonus room are designed / furnished in a way such that they don't feel cavernous and my wife has already suggested that we come back with just our family. While the house is huge the spaces are warm and inviting. The house is literally a resort in and of itself. There's a swimming pool, two hot tubs, inside and outside bar, refrigerators everywhere, pool table, dart board, a ridiculous golf and shooting simulator, full size poker table, ping pong table, basket ball hoop and is set smack dab in the middle of another resort. If you like nice places and don’t mind spending a little more for the best you won't be disappointed.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, people with disabilities, families with young children.

  Elk Landing Lodge is the best luxury home for rent in Suncadia. Especially loved the deluxe game room with golf at Pebble Beach and Texas Holdem tournament table. Highly recommend it for large family get away or social gathering with friends.

  This house was great for our company retreat. We had seven couples including two with small children. Even though the weather was kind of gloomy, there was lots to do in the house. Everyone liked the golf simulator, but we never got the hunting game completely working. The kitchen is well stocked and worked great for our company dinner. The bedrooms and bathrooms are beautiful. Lots of special features. The kids loved the ceiling faucets for the jacuzzi tubs. This is a high tech house, so my only suggestion would be some instructions for the different TV's and game systems. We plan to visit again, but earlier in the year so that we can use the pool and grounds. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. Fantastic property! Highly recommended.

  We've held our annual planning meeting at Elk Landing Lodge and absolutely loved it. The owners thought of everything when they built this place. From the home finishes to the furniture and decorations everything is top notch. The home has multiple areas with ample space for group meetings and break-out sessions. Team building is one of the major reasons we hold meetings offsite and this home has every entertainment option available. You can virtually hold an indoor olympics with all of the fun options that include; pool, darts, Wii, and golfing or shooting on the full sized simulator. If you're lucky enough to catch pool season, the house has a great private courtyard off the back of the home with a pool and hot tub, as well as, another large hot tub that faces the golf course. I'll definitely be looking at bringing the family up once the snow starts flying.

  We recently rented this property last week for a long 4 day weekend. My group included 6 couples and a handful of small children. The house is definately awesome and in a great location on the Rope Rider golf course. The bedrooms are perfectly laid out to accomodate a large group. Unfortunately, our weekend was spent dealing with a myriad of issues related to in what my opinion is just poor maintenance. Our issues ranged from partially functioning oven, an inoperable dishwasher, numerous liight bulbs out, a bbq that was coated in crud and hadn't been cleaned in some time, bathrooms that were not properly stocked,a smoke detector that was dangling by the wires from the ceiling, a hot tub that was half full of water, a garage that was full of garbage from a previous guest that stunk, a golf simulator that had panels falling from the ceiling.....the list goes on and on. The title of this property is "Suncadia's Best". Coming from someone who has stayed in Suncadia multiple times and rented a number of homes, this description is far from accurate. The management company was marginally interested in my issues. I spoke to them once when I first arrived. The second call I made went unanswered. The third call was finally returned and lots of indignation was offered but no offer to remedy any of the problems. Overall, this was a pretty poor experience and I would not recommend this rental until a significant amount of maintenance has been completed on the property.

  Owner response: The issues listed in this guest review have been address. The oven was functioning fine and one of the three dishwashers was out of order. We did have an issue with the cleaning staff that has been resolved. There was no excuse for the BBQ being dirty or the number of light bulbs that were out at the time of this guest stay.

  I can't think of one bad thing to say about this property. The owners really spared no expense in the details. Everything is top notch, even the dishes they stocked the kitchen with. This is by far one of the largest and finest properties in all of Suncadia. I've searched high and low and truly have found none better. I hope to return at least once a year if I'm able.

  My family has rented vacation homes all over the state and this is by far the best house we've stayed at. The entire experience is top notch. The home has 5 or 6 unique spaces where the family can spend time and enjoy all the extras in the home. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds themselve rival the "Heavenly Bed". If you want the best for your family, this is it.
