The unit has 1 bedroom and 2 baths, plus an alcove off the living room which can be closed off with a folding door to make a second private sleeping area (with private bath) for overnight guests.
Both bedrooms and the living room open directly onto the spacious lanai, and the sky windows in the cathedral ceiling provide even more light to the living areas. An additional sliding door fills the kitchen with light and opens onto a sunny front porch, perfect for your morning coffee!
The condo is fully furnished with all utensils, linens, appliances, washer/dryer, TV with cable service and DVD player. We also have an unlimited-use wireless Internet connection for your laptop!
Bird Bay Village has just about any vacation amenity you could want! There's a swimming pool near the unit plus an Olympic-size pool a bit farther away.
The facility has 5 tennis courts, plus an 18-hole, par 3 golf course right on the property. There's also a well stocked self-service library, a craft room, and a variety of planned activities, including yoga, bridge, tai chi, mah jong, bingo, canasta, euchre, art, knitting, dominos, rug hooking, swimnastics and dancercise.
Regardless of your age or interests, you'll find plenty to enjoy at Bird Bay Village.
And Venice Beach -- a beautiful and peaceful Gulf beach near historic downtown Venice -- is a 5 minute drive away! And access to the new 10-mile long Venice Legacy Trail (walking, biking) is just a block from the Bird Bay property.
Our unit is on the top (2nd) floor, and it is just steps from its assigned covered parking spot. Ample additional parking is available for guests.
