Keywords: Restored Farmhouse
Our property is a beautifully restored and expanded farmhouse and cabin, located on scenic Route 6 in northwestern Pennsylvania. The 5-bedroom, 5 1/2 bath home sets on a working horse farm that covers more than 100 acres. Look up our web site at Galloping Inn.
We rebuilt this place as a labor of love, with the vision of creating an ideal destination for social getaways, unique recreation and enjoyment of the environment. It’s really very special. The farmhouse dates back to the mid 1850's and is one of the oldest structures in the area. When we restored it, we did so with an eye for preservation, style and modern comfort.
The kitchen is awesome. Newly remodeled with all new appliances and features a large granite table that seats ten.
People have come here for many years to escape their everyday routine and to have a stress free experience. It’s a freestanding destination, meaning you can do just about anything you want. The location is very private and there is lots of space so if you share the place with other friends or families, you’ll have plenty of room to yourself. You can play some music, go for a hike, explore the nearby foothills, streams and lakes, cook a big meal, ride horses, whatever makes you happy. The thing everyone seems to appreciate most is the fresh air, freedom and comfortable warmth highlighted by our selection of top quality bedding.
We built a bar in the great room which is adjacent to the kitchen. There is an entertainment room upstairs which is a perfect place for the kids to watch movies (someone was really thinking there). There are two large decks off the back of the house where you can take in the evening sun. And the back lawn is large enough for your choice of outdoor games.
If you feel like doing some exploring, there are lots of things to do nearby. Within a 30 minute drive you can rent boats and cruise the waters of the Allegheny Reservoir, visit the charm of Chautauqua, or enjoy golfing the undulated hills of many great courses including Peek ‘n Peak.
Give us a call and we’ll tell you more about the place, or you can visit our website.

Why the Owner Chose Corry
We originally visited this property when it was a bed and breakfast called Spring Valley. We loved the place so much, we later bought it and turned it into the Galloping Inn.

We just spent a weekend at Galloping inn and had a wonderful time. The house was absolutely perfect. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay to anyone visiting the area and we are already looking at the calender to plan a trip again and definitely we would like to come back again in the fall. The kitchen is great and you can't help but relax by the fireplace. The owners are very responsive to questions and a pleasure to work with. It was too muddy to be able to go riding but hopefully we can schedule for next time.

I brought my youth group up for a few days and they had an incredible time. We took advantage of the hayride and horseback riding. The house and cabin are beautiful and we will certainly be back.

I've visited many different places in my life, from the East Coast to the West Coast to exotic locations outside the country. I consider the Galloping Inn as part of my vacation experiences. It's peaceful, romantic and cozy. And for the more adventurous types, exciting outdoor activities are plentiful. From the moment you turn into the driveway, you can feel the passion and painstaking attention to detail that was put into restoring this beautiful property. Enjoy!

As a repeat guest this property is great year round. Easily accessible from Cleveland and as one who knows the area it is just as accessible from Buffalo, Pittsburgh and others. Close to skiing and fly fishing - both steelhead water and smaller rivers for rainbow, brook and brown trout. Definately perfect for a family get away, corporate retreat and for entertaining friends.

We enjoyed an extremely relaxing and fun weekend with the entire family. There is plenty of room to spread out - we had 10 people. The farmhouse is very cozy - peaceful - inviting! We enjoyed the opportunity to all be together to hang out - play games - cook - hike - and laugh! We also took advantage of PeaknPeek to swim & ski - it was great for the kids and only 20 minutes away! Everyone is already working on schedule for our next get away! You did a wonderful job renovating the place - the beds - soooo comfortable!!!!

We stayed at the Galloping Inn for a getaway ski weekend, it was the perfect location. Close to Peak N Peek or Holiday Valley. And the Inn is comfortably set-up, providing lots of room for larger parties.
