We stayed for a month in this lovely condo. We loved every minute of our stay. The condo was perfect, the only thing we could have used was a bit more storage containers and one bigger boiler pot, but we made do just fine, anyway. The kitchen, living room were plenty big enough and we cooked many meals there. The dining room table accommodates 6 easily and the patio table does, also. The pool is very nice and the grounds were lovely. We looked at many other condos during our stay (from the outside) and concluded that this condo complex is the nicest in this area. We are planning to return next summer. Also, Serge the property manager can connect you with Randall, our tour guide for many excursions. He made our trip superb, his knowledge of the nature, history, restaurants and his relaxed and friendly personality, could not be matched in our opinion. Our excursions with him were the highlights of our trip. Playas del Coco is a great place to stay in Costa Rica. You do not need a car and bicycle rentals are easy to find. We loved hopping on ours and going to the store or Ocotal or just a ride about town. We hope to return next summer!

Our condo was very spacious and clean. We especially enjoyed the large patio as we spent a lot of our home time out there. The patio was much larger in comparison to other condo complexes that we saw in the area. The area was quiet and we enjoyed the pools. We were there 2 weeks and no major problems. One air conditioner had an issue but Serge got it fixed quickly. The beach was clean and the water okay for swimming but not the best in the area. We thought Tamarindo was the best and Hermosa was better. For activities we enjoyed the Congo Zip Line, River/Crocodile boat tour at Palo Verde Park, and a Catamaran snorkel/sunset cruise. We visited the Arenal volcano, unfortunately it had stopped flowing, but the area around there is very beautiful. DO NOT go to Puntarenas. Restaurants in the area that we liked were Father Rooster, Pacifico Beach Club, Papagayos Sea food. There are lots of grocery stores to stock up on items. We rented a 4x4 and as we had been told, once you are off the paved roads the roads are rough. Overall Costa Rica is a beautiful place to visit and having this condo to come back to each night made you feel like at home.

This condo was beautiful and very well equipped. The grounds and the pool were immaculate and the landscaping was very well maintained. We enjoyed the little plaza nearby and the ability to pick up fresh fruit every day at the corner, as well as seafood and bread which we could buy right outside out door. The other renters/owners were friendly and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxed. We were able to walk every where in Playa del Coco and did not need a car to go shopping. We did lots of walking on the beach and throughout the town and felt safe at all times The only negative about this rental was the rent which we found out from others in the sam development was considerably higher than what others were paying. In addition, we did not fine that the property manager, Serge, was very visible. We did not meet him until we were leaving at the end of our fourth week. He did see to it that a problem with our internet access was corrected. All in all it was a wonderful holiday.

A perfect spot for a tropical vacation! Coco is a lively town with lots of amenities and a wonderful beach. It is also an ideal spot to use as a base for traveling to the many attractions in the Guanacaste province. There are several excellent beaches and attractions within an hours drive for day trips. We would recommend surfing at Tamarindo and the zip lining at the Congo Trail. The condo was spotless and had positively everything you could possibly need for your stay! The grounds were beautiful and very private. We had the pool all to ourselves most days. As a family of 5, the washer & dryer were especially handy after a few days of adventure touring! The patio was a peaceful spot to relax & unwind after a day of surfing, shopping or swimming. And of course returning home each day to the air conditioned condo was a welcome break from the heat, as temperatures were easily above +35C each day. N.B. If you are planning to stay just in Coco a rental car wouldn't be necessary as it isn't very big and there are many taxis to take you to & from the grocery stores. The beach, restaurants and souvenir shopping are all within walking distance of the condo. (About 20 minutes)

The condo was clean and well-furnished with all the conveniences one might want (including Wifi and TV). The property manager was also very helpful. Nice (small) pool and nice neighbors. The beach in Playa del Coco wasn't quite as nice as some others that I've visited in the past. Also, the town was a bit more seedy than I had expected. But if you want a place from which to take scuba trips, and to visit other places in Costa Rica, this is a good option. Renting a car in this area is very expensive (about $300/week), but if you don't have one you're kind of stuck.

This condo was fabulous. had everything you needed in it and was very spacious. excellent beds and loved the patio out front, spent most nights out there. the pool was wonderful and very well taken care of. the location was great, easy walking distance to coco town but far enough away that you were in peace and quite. for going to different beaches and going on adventures it was a perfect central location. my family and i enjoyed this condo immensely and would stay here again any time.

This condo provided the best of both worlds - all the comforts of home in a beautiful and lush tropical location. The condo is beautifully decorated with all high quality furnishings, bedding, towels, appliances, etc. Everything you need for a short or long-term stay are provided. Having a full kitchen was perfect for us as we prefer to not eat all of our meals out. We also made use of the washer and dryer. The location was great - close enough to the action of town and the beach to be convenient, but in a very safe and quiet location. Having the pool just steps away from the front door was great as well. Perfect for cooling off in the evenings after we'd returned from a day out. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for the best place to stay in the Guanacaste region. Playa del Coco is convenient for traveling to other locations within the region - we visited numerous beaches both north and south of Coco and also did a couple of tours inland - the Zip Lines are a must!! Playa del Coco is a very friendly little beach town with many shops and restaurants. We ate out numerous times at different restaurants and never had a bad meal. They also opened a new large grocery store when we were there that was very clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. I will most certainly be back and will stay in this condo again!

Everything about our holiday went very smooth right from the beginning with meeting Serge, the property manager with the key, to checking out with Miguel at the end of our stay, to receive our damage deposit. We found the condo to be exactly what we hoped it would be and we really enjoyed the pool right outside our door every night before bed. We would usually pack our cooler in the morning and wouldn't arrive back until evening. The condo offered everything that we needed and we found the location to be very quiet at night, although it was only a few blocks off of the main street. We would definitely recommend Kelly's condo to our friends and family.

Setting up the booking with Kelly was a breeze. She was very helpful with all our questions (and we had a lot!!) She also responded quickly to any questions/concerns. The property manager in Coco was also helpful and available by phone. A ton of information was given to us upon our arrival that helped with our vacation (i.e. phone/address of our condo, excursion pamphlets.) The condo was exactly as described in the pictures!! Everything was new and clean. A maid even came at mid-week to tidy up for us.It had everything we needed- beach towels, pool rafts, grill, etc. The kitchen was nicely stocked with the main things- pots, pans, wine opener, plastic storage containers. The washer and dryer were a great bonus. The bed in the master bedroom was huge-- a california king I believe, that slept 3 adults easily. The individual air conditioning units in each room were nice since everyone prefers different sleeping temperatures. Since it's a first floor unit, there are no stairs to deal with and the condo itself has an open layout. Las Palmas, the area where it was located, was very safe and had friendly security posted everywhere from 6pm-6am. It seemed to be mostly foreigners staying in the area. Parking was available right outside the condo for our car and town was only a 5-10 minute walk away for our nights out. The beach was about 5 minutes away, and there are also 2 pools at the condo complex. Coco itself is a quick drive from the airport. It was about 20-30 minutes. The people there are extremely friendly and helpful. There is basically one main road with all the stores, bars, and restaurants on it. There were lots of restaurants in town ranging from "pricey" to cheap. We'd recommend a nice dinner (under $20) at Papagayo Seafood or the Lousianna place. Further down by the beach are small sodas where you can get traditional meals for around $4. The fish at all the restaurants was excellent! Also, there is a grocery store in town where you can stock up on staple items or perhaps a meal to cook back at the condo. By the grocery store is the town's bank (most beach towns only have one bank) but the ATM didn't seem to be compatible with Canadian or US cards. We were prepared for this and were able to find a bank about 15 mins away at the Do It Center (a building supplies store.) There are also atm's in Liberia and Tamarindo that work for foreigners. Also, a lot of places were able to take credit cards. The town and condo were both great!!

Our group of 9 people rented both condos in March of 2008. The condos were beautifully decorated and very spacious and having the pool right outside your door was awesome! The barbecue and the fully equipped kitchen were very useful as we made meals at home a few nights of the week, and the selection of DVD's was a bonus for quiet evenings. It was definietly a very pleasant home base for our holidays. BTW - The restaurat La Dolce Vita (Italian) turned out to be one of our favourites and it's easy walking distrance to the condo.
