A beautiful, ground floor condo with all the amenities of a 5 star hotel. A hot tub to the left of the back door, a great work out facility right next door, a short walk to the gondola, great restaurants and Starbucks. Use of the community pool right across the street. At the end of the day you can ski right to the back door. Spacious interior, breakfast bar , three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The kids loved the trundle beds and the fact they could watch a movie while cuddled up in bed. Will hopefully be able to rent there again in the near future!!!

Fantastic Family Vacation

I’d been meaning to write this review since we spent 3 days here last summer. Finally getting around to it as we book our 2nd trip for February AND as we start to finalize dates for a 3rd trip back next summer! The pictures are wonderful, but when you step into the condo for the first time, there’s definitely the “wow” factor. Everything is as pictured and described but better. The owner was extremely responsive and available with any questions! The proximity to everything was so convenient. While Northstar is obviously known for their winter sports, we love the place in the summer. Biking, hiking, proximity to the lake – the resort takes on a very relaxed and mellow feel! We are very much looking forward to our trip in Feb and of course to coming back next summer! I highly recommend this condo!

An Amazing Wedding Weekend

We booked this Condo for a wedding I was in at the village. The location could not have been any better. Mark was very helpful answering ALL the questions I had. The condo was Extremely clean and had more than enough amenities. We took advantage of them all including the amazing pool. We shared the condo with my husband and myself in one room, my parents in another, and our kids with a sitter in the last. The best part was no fighting over the Master since two had bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped with all the features of home. The only difficulty we had the entire time was finding what remote went to what room which is a minor complaint (really only mattered to kids room). I hope that someday we can come back again and visit this condo with friends and family. Thank you for opening your vacation home to us. PS The wedding was AMAZING!

June Wedding Weekend

Loved it. The first word uttered upon entering this condo was "Wow!" Tall celings, plenty of natural light, great kitchen, all-around comfortable spaces. My family stayed here for a weekend wedding in Northstar. This was the perfect spot for the entire weekend. The three large rooms provided ample space for the 5 of us, the free Gondola ride to the wedding at the Ritz Carlton was only steps away, and the convenience of the shops and restaurants in the Northstar village was great. We had a great time at Tahoe, and this accommodation was a big part of our enjoyment.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Luxury in the Mountains

Great Place !!!. Was their over new years with family and friends. Great location in the middle of the Northstar Village surrounded by restaurants, shopping and plenty of things for the kids to do. Place was clean and spacious with very comfortable beds. Kitchen has everything you need in case you want to cook in. Looking forward to staying their again.

Awesome convenience and comfort

Great place with a setup that worked for 5 of us. Cooked a birthday meal and cake in the kitchen, sat at the dining table for dinner. had our own bathrooms and a great fireplace with a tv and full surround sound setup for watching movies at the end of the day. Super close to the highlands gondola to get you up the mountain first thing in the morning. Convenient parking underneath. Wish I could afford this all season long, totally recommended for that special weekend at the snow.

My husband and I met my brother and his family (2 kids) for a week this summer - it was a great set-up for us. The condo had all the amenities we needed, and the owner or his fix-it guy were available if anything came up. Totally immaculate, totally up-to-date, a nice high-tech setup for staying entertained (even the little things like a cord so you can plug your iPod into the entertainment center), and well situated within the village.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Summer Wedding at Northstar

We stayed in this lovely condo while in Northstar for a family wedding in July 2011. I cannot say enough about the location and station of this condo!!!! It is/was fabulous!! The condo is spacious and very comfortable to be in. The owners have provided for your every comfort with a well appointed kitchen, lovely linens, beds that envelop you, TV's in every room and a sound system that will impress!! There were several wedding guests staying in other condos throughout Northstar, who upon seeing 'our' condo concluded we had rented the best one! Being on the first floor was wonderful! All the windows provided plenty of natural light with beautiful views of the paths. Having the ability to open the back doors, opened up the already open floor plan and provided a lovely place to read and enjoy coffee in the morning or a cocktail in the evening; as well as allowing the beautiful mountain breeze inside. We are not snow skiing people, but we do mountain bike, hike and kayak. While we were not able to partake in our favorite activities, due to Wedding obligations, we could imagine how this condo would be the place for us to be able to enjoy our summer hobbies! We will return to Northstar for a future vacation to enjoy our pleasures and we will be staying at this Condo!!!

We have stayed here twice now and throughly enjoyed both visits. The unit is large and well equipped for one or two families to share. The location in the village is great and you can ski right to the unit at the end of the day. The kitchen is fully stocked and the bedrooms are comfortable. We only stay here now when we come to Northstar!

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

"This condo is in an absolutely ideal location. Northstar is a great place for families and the location of this condo could not be better! We liked the fact that it was a main floor unit and our grandchildren could be outside and walk up the hill to the village without having to use an elevator. The beds were comfortable and it was plenty roomy for four adults and two children. We were there for a wedding and everybody thought we had the best place to stay! We would certainly recommend this condo to anyone wanting to be in this area. The owner was very pleasant and helpful."

We had a wonderful stay. The unit was clean and comfortable. The parking, building entrance and access to all the amenities were ridiculously close and convenient. My godson would board all the way down to the unit's back door right in time for lunch. Our other little godkid was able to play right outside the back door in the snow. We would definitely stay here again.

My family stayed in this condo for a week at the end of July and could not have had a better experience. It was furnished better than most homes. The kitchen had every possible utensil and appliance needed. It was very comfortable, clean and cozy. The location was perfect for us...near the pool, shopping, and gondola. Our only problem now is making a decision to come back in winter for ski season or summer again for rafting, biking, and hiking! Either way, I'm sure the owners will be just a responsive and accommodating as this past summer. We'd recommend this even to the pickiest of our friends. Thanks a million for the memories!!

This condo is absolutely awesome. The owner has thought of everything you could possibly need and then added more for your continued enjoyment and comfort. The layout of the condo is wonderful with the two spacious master bedrooms and the third bedroom with the trundle beds. The flat panal TV's in all the rooms make it nice for everyone to spread out and watch their favorite shows. The beds are extremely comfortable with the luxury linens and down comforters. The decadent big tubs and showers are great. The condo is in a fantastic location and is very private and quiet. You are close to everything in the village, but removed from the noise of the activities near the skating rink. Our kids were able to leave the mountain when they wanted and return easily to the condo to rest. The village has numerous fun activities, shops and restaurants to enjoy once you leave the mountain. It is really convenient to be able to just walk out the front door and have access to so many amenities. The owner is amazing and goes out of his way to make sure your vacation is perfect, he also works closely with the concierge at the village to assist the guests once they arrive. This was especially helpful for tips on where to eat, get groceries delivered before arrival and activities for the kids and adults. The computer and printer in the unit is also very helpful for checking the weather and printing out boarding passes. Hands down, this was the best condo or vacation rental home we have ever stayed at and we will definetely return to this specific condo in the future.

My family stayed in this beautiful condo over Christmas holidays. The rooms are spacious and lovely. The beds are incredibly comfortable. On New Year's Eve we had fire dancer's right outside the lobby door and we had a perfect view of fireworks outside our patio door. It is so nice to be right in the village, our kids skated every night. The owner is lovely and helpful. It's a great location at a great price, we'll be back.

The condo was very nice and clean. There were seven people in our group and we all very comfortable. The kids loved playing right outside the back door. There was a flatscreen in each bedroom and the bathroom floors had radiant heat, which was great. The condo was very quiet and we were very close to everything. It was a great deal. We are planning on staying there again.

we recently stayed in this condo and it was fabulous! the unit is on the ground floor with easy access to the underground garage. it's also very close to the main pick-up drop-off area. we also liked that it wasn't right in the middle of the center of the village as there was no noise at all in our unit and i've stayed at squaw village overlooking the main area and it was really loud. instead, there are great views looking out into a wooded area at the bottom of the mountains. also the unit is just a few steps away from the hot tubs and workout facility (which is super nice with individual flatscreen tv's on each cardio machine) the kitchen overlooks the living room which has a huge tv and the unit is equipped with a state of the art entertainment system, including dvr, dvd, cable, stereo, surround sound, etc. the master bedroom is large and on the opposite side of the condo from the other bedrooms. the master bath is huge! all of the fixtures, linens, etc are what you would expect in a luxury condo. there's free internet and a computer in the unit which is super handy for looking up activities, weather, etc. however, the folks who work at the village all know the owner and went out of their way to help us... providing lists of things to do, maps, suggestions of where to go, etc. we really felt like we had our own personal concierge. for those with kids/ babies, the staff will help you with any baby gear you need (you can rent everything from a full sized crib to a high chair, etc.) there are 2 rocking chairs in the living room... great for rocking babies! there are also games and books in the unit for small children which helped with our 2 yr old. one thing we really like was that the bathrooms in both the master bedroom and the 2nd bedroom were big enough to hold our pack-n- play so we were able to have our 7 month old sleep in our room with us with the bathroom door shut so she didn't keep us up all night with her 'night noises'. overall, this is a great condo and i'm sure we'll be staying here again. the owner is very easy to work with and really wanted us to have a nice time... and with the way we were treated by the staff, we felt more like 'friends of the owner' than renters.
