Our family had an amazing stay. Owner made sure that everything was perfect even during a hurricane he made sure that we were informed of what news channels, radio stations we could listen to. Owner provided us with propane gas stove as well as water in the event that we were to lose power. Our family of 10 had more than enough room space. Property was clean and equipped with everything needed. I would recommend this property to any friend or relative visiting. Property was close to all attractions that were on our to-do list. Walmart and the Outlets were perfect to visit on a rainy day and very close to the property. I look forward to staying again sometime in the future.

Owner response: Was a pleasure prepare the unit for you. I was very concerned about the energy supply and your security during that kind of weather. For that reason I bring the portable gas stove (that know it is a regular item in the apt) and candles and send to you by text the weather information and tv stations so you can be up-to-date with the weather but fortunately nothing had to be used. great penthouse rental for family of eight

Rental had very strong security, great room layout, & beautiful landscaping/pools. The condo is well situated, (centered between Loquillo/El Yunque & Old San Juan), as a hub for day trips. Pinones beaches/food kioskos, Walmart/Grocery stores are all less than ten minutes away. Took less than 40 minutes to get to SJU Airport. Unit had very strong A/C units in every room and a nice private roof top terrace. Really appreciated the extra details, (like coolers & loaned GPS unit), which enabled our day trips to: Culebra/Vieques, Cayo Icacos, Guavate Lechoneras, Playa Colora/Balneario Seven Seas & La Cueva Ventana/La Cueva del Indio. It was a perfect place for a large family to stay. Thank you Hector and Aquatika for hosting our great vacation.

This was one our best vacation experience in a long time. Hector was able to pick us up at the airport, provided all the necessary information. In our situation we needed special accomodations and he was able to support them. The family couldn't get enough pool and beach time. The place is close to everything, we where able to visit the Yunque rain forest, old San Juan and El Morro (Castle). In addition there's several malls close by which the wife and her friends enjoyed. I will recommend this place to anyone, but Hector our property manager took it to a different level. Thank you Hector.

Great time in Loiza

Our family trip to Puerto Rico included 3 generations consisting of grandparents, married kids, single adults, and small children. Aquatica was a perfect place for all of us. The complex is beautiful and well maintained - busy on the weekends and deserted during the week so you have full access to pools and play ground. Short coming is that the restaurant/bar and water slide are only available on weekends. We read the location was bad but we never felt fearful - the town is small and seems poor but we went to local pharmacy and grocery store with no difficulty. Loiza as a location was great because it was outside of the large city of San Juan and close to beautiful beach at Luquillo and rain forest El Yunque. We were able to visit old San Juan and have nightlife of the city but have the peace of a quiet location without too much traffic. You must have a car if you stay here.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing.

My family and a group of friend spent the weekend at hector Place at aquatika and had an amazing time. The apartment was very spacious and enough room for all of us. We were5 adults and 7kids.I can say everything was just what we hoped of more. The rooms were comfortable. The terrace was great it had a big BBQ and some sitting. The kitchen was well equipped, the washer and dryer came in handy with the kids. I can´t wait to return.

hector is a delightful, honest and extremely good host. he made us feel welcome and at home. the place was airy and open. the view and the property fantastic. It was an extremely relaxing place to stay with a nice clean property. i would reccommend hector and his place for a wonderful vacation at a great price.

Puerto Rico 2009 - One for the Books

9 of us traveled to Puerto Rico for my birthday during mid-march. We are all well traveled and tend to stay in high-end hotels. I work for a travel company and usually get great rates from work. This time, we decided to take a different route and rent an apartment. There was a lot of hesitation within our group as none of us had done this before. From the first e-mail I sent to Hector, until the last one I received today, EVERYTHING went smoothly. He is an unbelievably nice person and very understanding. His property is beautiful. It is fully furnished and he has invested heavily into the amenities. From the kitchenware, to the towels and bed sheets, even the grill and general decorations, it is clear that Hector takes pride in his apartment. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to have a worry-free vacation. Aquatica itself is wonderful and the grounds are well kept. Loiza is in the middle of everything it seems. I strongly recommend that you rent a car. If you get a chance, stop-in at the Water Front restaurant on 187 east of Aquatica and say hi to Sam! The food is great and he shares similar customer service values as Hector. You have to hike the El Yunque rainforest. The scenery is beautiful and the air is fresh. Make sure you take time to go to multiple beaches in Puerto Rico, there are several great ones. The best one was about 5 minutes from Hector’s property in 187. It is a local hang-out but extremely beautiful and untouched by commerece. This was hands-down the best vacation any of us have had and Hector was a big part of it.

My best friend and I planned a great vacation with 6 of our closest friends, we totally didn’t know what to expect when coming to Puerto Rico, and driving into Loiza was a bit overwhelming … However once we found the complex and spent a few days exploring, we realized that Loiza was a perfect place to stay… We got to enjoy all of the views of the beaches, country side, great food on the side of the road for miles ( it looks scary but you will find the NICEST people and AMAZING food).. all in all we had a great vacation … I would recommend this place to anyone that would ask… Thank you Hector for an amazingly clean house!!!

We arrived Feb 22 after departing a cruise ship and where met at Aquatika by Hector . He was very helpfull in getting us aqainted with his property and the surrounding complex. We found its location is perfect for doing some sightseeing , gambling (about 20 mins away ) and off course our little peace of America ( Walmart ) where we did our grocery shopping etc . The town of Loiza doesnt offer a lot for the tourist , it does have several gas stations a pharmacy , clinic and lots of small resturants . We felt very comfortable and safe at aquatika and enjoyed the peacefull surroundings , plenty of pools , and especially sitting out at night on Hector' s roof terrace .. Although our group was 6 adults ,this is a great place for familys as well ..Thanks Hector we had a great time ..

Our family, which inlcuded eight of us, were perfectly delighted with our stay at Aquatika. The Villa was clean, spacious and very will appointed. There is always a feeling of uncertainty traveling thousands of miles to spend your winter vacation in a place that you have never been before. When we arrived we were pleased to say the least. The Villa was immaculate and we felt at home. The beach adjoining the complex was beautiful and the pool and exercise room was similarly well attended. It is clear that the proprieter cares a great deal about providing for his guests and he was more than helpful in accomodating us right down to providing directions, recommendations for car rentals and sightseeing. I would recommend Aquatika to anyone. We are now talking about staying there again next year.

We stayed Dec 22 to 29 2008 and had a very good time. The property is unbelievablity clean and well kept. There are 5 super clean pools and our 3 sons swam in all of them, day and night. You must have a car to get around and a new SuperWalmart is only 6 miles+/- up the road. The beach is small at the complex but a huge beach with all the 'beach scene'[good and bad] is only a few mile east at Luquillo [but its $3.00 a day to park there]. An excellant centrally located condo from which to explore the rain forest[just south] and San Juan to the West. No restaurants or bars in the complex , but several within a short drive. A great value.

We stayed in Hector's place in December. It was a nice break from Chicago's winter. Our kids loved the pools, the ocean, the playgrounds and everything else the complex has to offer. Hector met us at the airport at the car rental and took us to the supermarket and then to Aquatica. Considering that we arrived very late in the evening and have never been to Puerto Rico before, it was very helpful. I am pretty sure we would have had difficult time navigating in the dark. Thank you, Hector! Hector's condo is very nice - it is spacious and is equipped with everything one may possibly need. 2 adults and 3 children have plenty of space and opportunity to relax. The grounds in the complex are very well mainained. The pools are safe for kids as they only are 3'6" deep, so parents do not need to worry. We really enjoyed our vacation and will definitely come back in the future.

We recently came back from a wonderful vacation in Puerto Rico. We stayed in this condo and it was excellent. From the moment we made our reservations, the owner was friendly and helpful, providing excellent customer support - not just about lodging, but in helping us plan our vacation as well. The information given on the website is very accurate. We were a mixed group - adventurers and leisure travelers - and this property was perfect. It was reasonable distance to many of the attractions we were visiting, as well as having many amenities for those who wanted to stay behind and 'chill'. We definitely recommend this condo! It was simply perfect for us! We had 8 adults in our group and plenty of room and towels! :-) Our favorite desinations (keep in mind we are an adventure group!!) * El Yunque (eat at Don Pepe's - Rt 3 - on your way back down!) * Tropical Trail Rides in Isabela (WELL worth the 3hr drive) * Cueva Viento (Wind Cave) in Guajataca Forrest (not lake!) * Kayaking the biobay in Fajardo Old San Juan is also a must see. If you are wild enough to decide to climb El Toro, (and you gotta be real wild to do this) wear long pants (our legs were very much abused by saw grass!). Our only disappointment was that the cool part of the Camuy Caves was closed and that we didn't allocate enough time at the Guanica Dry Forest and our hike was cut short (park closes at 4) making it not worth the 3 hour drive. (If you go there, leave early and bring as much mosquito repellent as you can!!) All in all, we had a great time. I am a Puerto Rico native and I don't think in 18 years I lived there I ever had that much fun all in one week!! And like I said, our accommodations were excellent, affordable (everybody was shocked at how little we had to pay for a week after splitting it 8 ways!) and very fitting for us. Definitely recommend this apartment to adventurer's, families, groups... Hands down, a great choice for our vacation!!

In late September/early October 2008 our group of 6 stayed at this apartment for 8 days. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations. It felt like a true home away from home. The apartment was fully stocked with everything we needed. I was particularly impressed with the kitchen. We cooked most of our own meals. The rooftop terrace with grill got plenty of use, too. We enjoyed the pools and lazy river at the Aquatika complex. We missed the short weekend hours for the water slide. The complex is in a good strategic location, close to the airport and San Juan, but also convenient for trips to El Yunque, Fajardo and other points east. Although there isn't much in the immediate vicinity of the complex, there is a Panaderia across the street that carries basic necessities like bread, milk and beer. An Econo supermarket can be found nearby in Rio Grande. There are lots of good seafood restaurants in Pinones, between the airport and the complex. Route 3 (west) has an outlet mall and many major chain stores and restaurants. Hector, the owner, provided great customer service. He kept in touch with us before the trip and was available when we needed to talk to him during our stay. He went out of his way to accommodate us when we had to extend our stay a couple of days. He returned our security deposit promptly. I highly recommend this property. It's much more comfortable and economical for groups than a hotel room.

What a pearl! Great host , took his time to explain local sites, The place is clean, fully loaded, we went for a family reunion and could not be more pleased. we surely found a home away from home. cant wait till next year. the description does not do this place justice you have to see it for yourself .

The property is beautiful, the travel to the location was a little deceiving due to the nature and activities of the town, but once entering the location you are in paradise. You do need transportation, because local transportation is a little expensive due to the distance from the main attractions of the island. The property has everything you need for your daily comforts and more. We were able to connect to the internet by the main window looking down at the the pool, the signal was week, but if you did not move your computer it was a great location to drink a cup up coffee and catch up on you emails. There were 7 adults on this vacation and the place was definitely big enough to give each couple space and privacy. We would reccomend this location to future Puerto Rico travelers. The owner was available to answer any questions and he provided get information on island attractions. The tour that was most enjoyable to us was the Yunque/Bio Flourencent tour, this tour really made us feel like we were on an adventure, and getting some exercise too. We look forward to visiting Aquatica again.

Our family rented hectors beautiful home at Aquaticas resort in Loisa. The resort is peaceful and is located centrally about 30 miles east of San Juan and there are lots of things to do snorkelingl the rain forest about 7 miles east on rt 3, casinos, many beautiful beaches. The penthouse was beautiful and the veiw was soothing to your spirit. The beach and water is gated and no waves pound the beach. A nice place to go to watch the sun set. It has play grounds for little ones so treat yourself to the penthouse and hector will makes sure your stay is pleasent.

my wife and i rented the penthouse from hector at aquatica in loiza puerto rico. it was beautiful.the place its self was so relaxing and the beach was beautiful the sunsets we amazing. everything you need to do is just within miles.snorkeling at east island excusions,the rain forest, the casinos, beautiful beaches and many stores were right of the highway. i loved it and can not wait to return. hector was so nice he even came to meet us. he returned the security check promply. the whole resort is peaceful.

We rented the property from Hector for two weeks. it is located near many beautiful beaches. the condo itself was beautiful and had everything you needed to be at home. Hector went out of his way to make our stay wonderful for my family. The property was so relaxing and quiet. There are many attractions located relatively close. the rain forest, casinos, stores. we did not want to leave...can not wait to go back we will rent it again without a doubt.

The villa is amazing met our expectations for our vacation. We stayed seven nights total of 5 adults. The location is on the beach with a wonderful view, the pools and walkways are clean. The villa is fully equipped; the furniture is up to date, very cleaned and spacious with great air conditioning. Great restaurants and attractions nearby El Yunque National Forest. Luquillo Beach, Fajardo and San Juan. This was our first time in Puerto Rico and our experiences were phenomenal and plan to return next year. I would recommend the villa to my family and friends. Hector (owner) is very nice & provided useful information. Thank You On a small note the beach onsite was amusing, however must wear water shoes due to broken glass on the sand. Overall rating was Excellent!

The property is amazing! Private beach, two pools overall a wonderful experience. I recommend this property to everyone, is great for friends and very family friendly. It gives you the opportunity not only to see a different province in Puerto Rico, but also to get away from the touristy areas. The best part about the villa is the view! You go out to the balcony and towards your right you see El Yunque and to the left you see the Atlantic Ocean. That was my highlight every morning, just taking it all in. Highly economical and just beautiful, my friends and I had a great time. Hector is extremely accommodating and supportive. Thank you Hector!

Coming 'home' to the villa each night after a day of exploring Puerto Rico was very relaxing. The children loved the pools and water park. The private beach is a great place to sip a rum drink as the sun goes down on an exciting day. While in P.R. for a wedding, we spent six days touring Old San Juan, El Yunque, the bio-luminescent bay, the beaches, everywhere. Loiza was a good central location for us, with access to San Juan and all northeastern tourist attractions. The local food was excellent (especially at Soleil, overlooking the beach), too. The villa contained all the amenities: a well equipped kitchen, plenty of storage, satellite tv, etc. We could cook in if we wanted or eat out. It was impeccably clean, well furnished and well maintained. Hector was the perfect host, very informative and helpful - even before we arrived. I will absolutely recommend the villa (and Hector) to my friends. The neighbors were very friendly and it was not crowded or noisy, like a hotel can be. It was like being at home, but with great pools and a private beach.

The condo was great! We had at least 8 people in our party for about 5 days and we all slept comfortably. The condo exceeded all of our expectations. I would definitely stay here again. It was stocked with everything you need. The location was not in walking distance from any restaurants, but as long as you have transportation you will be okay. Great, great, great. Highly receommended!

This property more than met our expectations. The villa was lovely with plenty of room for our large family. The grounds were beautiful with beach front and pools to keep us busy. Hector sent us all the useful information we needed before hand and met us on arrival. We really enjoyed our time and definitely plan to return.

This was one of the best vacations ever. The owner is a wonderful person and made sure that our stay went off without a hitch. The Penthouse is lovely and well keeped, the pool area is awesome, my friends and family never wanted to leave. We found this location to be very safe the people are very nice and friendly. This rental is perfect for couples or large families. It's close to San Juan and other beaches and easy to get to and from. We enjoyed our stay so much we plan to return next year. If your looking for the perfect vacation look no further and the owner didn't pay me to say that. LOL
