Are you looking for a fun and relaxing vacation…look no further, come and stay at our nice and private beach house located in beautiful Oceanside Village. Oceanside Village is a private, 24 hour gated community located in Surfside Beach, SC. It has a lot of amenities to offer besides a great beach. There is a heated indoor and outdoor pool (both have kiddie pools), lighted tennis courts, volleyball courts, a basketball court, a baseball field, park area/playground for the kids, and fishing ponds all around the 144-acre property. There is a new fitness center which opens at 5AM and closes at 10PM everyday. There is a $25.00 fee per person per week to use the fitness center. Our pier house is just a short walk or golf cart ride to the beach. Golf carts are available for rent for all licensed drivers at the front office inside Oceanside Village. There is a private beachfront parking access available for Oceanside Village renters and residents only. There is the wonderful Conch Restaurant where you can enjoy casual beach dining right on the beach. Oceanside Village is only a few minutes drive north to Myrtle Beach and area attractions, or south to Murrell's Inlet and Pawley's Island for great seafood dining, nightlife, and specialty shops! The new Market Commons opens in April 2008, which will offer high end shopping and a variety of restaurants. The new Hard Rock amusement park opens in May 2008!
Our pier home is located 1/10th of a mile from the gorgeous, sandy beaches. Our pier home is located on a very private corner lot. There is a slight ocean view from the private outside deck/balcony. We have recently updated our home with some new furnishings. The interior of the home has been completely repainted. The Carolina room has all new carpet and paint. There is a new table and 6 chairs where you can enjoy your breakfast, lunch or dinner. The Carolina room also has a ceiling fan for your comfort. There is a swing on the outside deck for you to sit on and enjoy the ocean breeze. On some nights you can even hear the sound of the waves right from the balcony. There is also another swing below the deck. We also have a picnic table below the deck. Our pier home has two large carports for plenty of parking underneath, so your vehicle will stay cool during those hot summer days. There is also an outdoor shower where you can rinse off and cool down after a long day at the beach.
Our pier home sleeps 6 people, which is the maximum capacity. The master bedroom has a queen bed, cable tv and a private bath with a nice walk-in shower. The second bedroom has two twin beds. There is a second full bath off the hallway. The third bedroom has twin bunk beds.
The kitchen is equipped with all brand new Whirlpool kitchen appliances (refrigerator w/automatic ice maker, smooth top stove, microwave, and dishwasher). Our kitchen offers all the amenities of home with built-in stove/oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender and wrap-around bar area for casual dining that seats four. There are dishes, eating and cooking utensils, pots and pans for your convenience.
The living room is large and spacious, with a couch, 3 chairs, a coffee table, and cable TV with a dvd and vcr player. Our home comes equipped with FREE high speed secure wireless RoadRunner internet service (bring your own laptop).
There is no daily maid service, so we ask that you please bring your own linens (sheets, comforters, blankets, pillows, bath and beach towels, etc.). We also ask that you please bring your own paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, tissue, etc.).
There is a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer. There is also an ironing board for your convenience.
We do weekly rentals from Saturday to Saturday only. Check-in time is after 3pm and Check-out time is 11am. (No early check-ins or Late check-outs please)
We rent to families or married couples who are 25 years or older. Sorry, we do not rent to vacationing students or anyone under age 25. A refundable $300 security deposit is required and will be returned by mail upon departure within 14 days, provided that the place is left undamaged and in its original condition.
Our pier home is a non-smoking environment. We ask that you please do not smoke inside our home or on the outside deck/balcony.
