What a fabulous little cabin. It was exactly what we had in mind, but better! Our only regret is not having stayed longer. We enjoyed the proximity to the village and went snowshoeing. We enjoyed our adventures very much but had the best time sipping hot chocolate by the fire and waiting for snow to fall. So relaxing! Thanks so much.

We had so much fun during our weekend stay at the Shawnee! Not only was it very affordable, but it was clean, well-kept, and the owner was very responsive to questions that we had during our stay. We will definitely be coming back!

We've never taken a mountain vacation before. This has been a perfect week in a wonderful cabin. Will have to let the kids know that going west will have to be taking the place of the beach. Everything has been new, every outing a discovery.

Such a pleasant cabin to relax and enjoy nature in. Convenient yet out of the way from the busy Estes Park town center. The cabin has everything we needed and then some. We hope to get back someday soon and will certainly recommend the cabin to others. Thank you for your hospitality!

We had a wonderful time staying in this cabin. The price was affordable. It is a small cabin, but the lay out is so thoughtfully done that we were very comfortable!! It was clean and very well maintained. I appreciated the effort that was made to make it cozy and convenient. We were able to cook many meals as they had the kitchen appliances, as well as an outside grill. The area where the cabin is located brings you to the best of both worlds as it is very close to the attractions of Estes Park and Rocky Mt National Park, but far enough away where you felt like you had space too! What fun to be sitting in the cabin and look up and see the animals eating the grass right outside the door. The picture on the website is accurate! At first site, we were afraid that Estes Park area was going to be too "toursity". It really wasn't. The people were very friendly and helpful. You can park your car and then take the shuttle to many different areas. We went to the library, rented videos, went shopping, went to the quilt shop, and to chuch. We also, rented bikes and rode around Estes Park Lake which was a wonderful ride! We did a lot hiking around the trails at Rocky Mt National Park. We had a lot of options as we could travel some and do many other things. We went White Water Rafting with Clear Creek Rafting and we had a blast! My husband and son went mountain climbing in Boulder and had a very good climb. We all went to a dinner threater in Fort Colins called Carousel. We saw 'Defending the Caveman' which was a great one man show! The food was good too! We would highly recommend a trip to Isabel's Lake which was a six mile hike at Indian Peak Wilderness Area. If you go a bit further you will see Isabel's Glacier. It was probably one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. The flowers in the meadows were incredible and we saw a moose on our hike! When we got near the lake our daughter made a tiny little snow man! To see the lake and the flowers and then the snow on the mountains in the background, WOW!l I would recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking for an affordable, cozy "home base" in which to do the many activities that are available in this very beautiful part of Colorado!

This cabin was the perfect addition to our perfect 4th of July vacation away from the kids. We loved that it was so close to Rocky Mountain National Forest, where Brian proposed to me at the Chasm Falls on the Old Fall River Road. Thank you for the welcoming beauty of such a wonderful cabin. And we plan to use the cabin as our next getaway next year! Thank you. Thank you.

We had a wonderful time at your cabin. It was absolutely charming. We especially loved the kitchen and the movie collection! It also was a very convenient location with the grocery store down the hill. I’d like to visit again very soon!

What a great place to stay! We both fell in love with it, and the kitchen is the most darling, wonderful space. This was by far the most comfortable and homey cabin we've ever stayed at in Estes.

We had such a great time last year we decided to do it again. This time it was even better! It snowed! What a beautiful sight. It didn't get above 25 degrees and down to 0 degrees at night. The cabin was plenty cozy though. Thanks for sharing your home with us.
