Beautifully decorated and just steps from all downtown Asheville has to offer, this chic and comfortable oasis is the perfect spot for relaxing after exploring or shopping downtown. The Loft at 51 College and the Loft at 35 Patton are both owned by Asheville artist Eli Corbin, and are both full of her colorful paintings. These 2 lofts were featured on the 2008 Asheville Museum Loft and Art tour.
The loft is 1100 square feet, has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and offers all the luxuries of home. The main living area has wood floors, a mosaic tile surround gas fireplace, kitchen open to the living room and dining room, original artwork, and is designed with your comfort in mind.
There is a master bedroom with pillow top mattress and luxurious linens. The bedroom is carpeted and adjoins the tiled master bath, with Jacuzzi tub and hand held shower. There is a TV with DVD if you choose to snuggle in and watch movies.
The guest bedroom has a comfortable full size pillow top mattres There is a second bathroom with a tiled shower.
The kitchen has all the modern upgrades and is fully equipped with dishes, pots and pans, and appliances. It has a breakfast nook area which looks down onto bustling College Street.

Fabulous Loft in Downtown Asheville!! - Luxurious 2bd/2bth
Why the Owner Chose Asheville
I love the vibrancy of downtown Asheville. It is small enough to walk to everything, yet large enough to have many choices regarding restaurants, clubs, galleries and shopping. The previous owners of both lofts bought the 2nd floor and totally renovated both units. I purchased the larger loft first and then the smaller. I researched the market for a while before buying, but really liked the look, location and the fact that the parking deck is right across the street from the building.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
I love staying at the loft because it is so centrally located. When you walk out the door you are within walking distance to everything downtown. I've parked in the deck for Bele Chere on Friday and not returned until Sunday. It is a great place to have friends over for drinks and then go out dancing, or to a movie at The Fine Arts, or catch a play at ACT. It is also a great place to escape for some down time.
Owner's Map of Asheville
I am originally from northern Florida, but moved to the mountains in 1979. I have lived in Asheville since 1995, after moving here to enroll my young children in school. There have been many changes since then, but Asheville just keeps getting better. When I first moved to Asheville I had a painting studio/gallery downtown and knew that I would want to someday own a loft here.
Although I no longer have a studio downtown, I do still paint and have many of my paintings on display in both lofts. I love to travel, dance, exercise, hike and spend time enjoying what Asheville has to offer.

How perfect to wake up with a cup of coffee, sit at the little cafe table by the window in this delightful condo and observe Asheville dawing! It was easy to plan the day's events from multiple options both within walking distance and beyond. One delicious restaurant after another made dining out each evening an experience to be savored in more ways than one. Our week seemed to evaporate in this great condo, with its great amenities, great venues, great restaurants, great weather and great people ... needless to say, a great time was had by all!

We stayed in your loft just last weekend and found it to be a wonderful treat. The accomodations themselves were great, but the location is spectacular - we never got in the car all weekend! We will absolutely recommend this to friends and stay there whenever we are in town. Thanks so much!

This loft is in a perfect location for exploring the downtown area of Asheville. Many restaurants, art galleries, parks, shops and historic buildings are in easy walking distance. The loft itself is wonderful -- you feel like you are staying at a friend's house rather than a rental. There are many nice touches throughout. Very clean and comfortable. We would highly recommend this loft for an Asheville visit!

I was pleasantly surprise on the convenience of the condo on College street. I immediately felt at home with the furnishings and the amenties that this home offered. Loved the place & location..Definitely ecommend to everyone. We ate at a great restaurant downstairs, and was able to relax in the condo before we walked downstairs. How cool is that!! The Lobster Trap. We also had dinner at the French Bistro, also great. Lunch was the Bier garten, delicious sandwiches and beer of course. Breakfast was at the mediterranean, good omelettes.,also a good breakfast restaurant starting with a M on College?? Walk to everywhere, park your car and go. Will be back soon. Teri and Scott

Clean, convenient, comfortable. In the heart of downtown Asheville walk to shops and restaurants. The only bad thing is that the loft is so nice you almost just want to sit around and talk with friends. This is the only place we will stay on our trips to Asheville

My husband, myself, and our college sophomore and senior took our Spring Break in the Asheville/Biiltmore area this year (3/2010). We stayed in the mountains first to enjoy the nature of the area - we are from flat Indiana! Then moved on to experience the city in Eli's loft in Asheville. It was a perfect way to experience the whole area. The loft was absolutely drop dead gorgeous, clean, functional - everything the photos and comments indicated and way more. Our kids loved the convenience (as did we). We just parked the car for the entire time and walked anywhere we wanted to go. The shopping was great, the Lobster Trap fantastic, and we would HIGHLY recommend the loft to anyone - YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!
