In the very city center, behind the National Theater,but in a fairly quiet area, you will find cozy apartments in the buildings from the beginning of the 20th century.
Thanks to the unique location of these apartments you will be able to reach all main sights by foot. Wenceslas square, The Old Town square or the Jewish district of Josefov are not further than a five minute walk. The same counts for all main theater houses as well as numerous galleries.
Old winding staircase cleverly enlightened by daylight through glassed-in roof will take you to the first floor. The first door on the right will open into a tiny hallway and then one more door leads you to the kitchen with a spacy dining area. Then you'll proceed to the main bedroom furnished with stylish renovated antique furniture which match the architectural period of the building. Windows of this room look into a wide backyard with lots of trees, so quiet that you may not realize that you stay right in the heart of the city.
There are two large beds in the bedroom of the one bedroom apartment and yet there is enough space for a round table with two comfortable armchairs where you can rest for hours after your sight-seeing. The bedroom is equipped with TV with satellite, a CD player and a bookcase with books about Prague in English and German, telephone, free internet access. In the kitchen there is a wooden loft where one or two persons can sleep . This space would be ideal for kids since running up and down the wooden stepladder and playing games in a fenced-in loft was already proved to be very popular for children. The kitchen is equipped with electric cooker,refrigerator, microwave owen, electric kettle, toaster and another cooking equipments.
Our two bedroom apartment is on the fourth floor with a balcony and an elevator and consists from 2 separated bedrooms and large kitchen with a dinning area. You will enjoy an amazing view from the living room´s balcony for the top of surrounding houses and roofs or for the Petrin Hill with its shinning watchtower built in 1891. The apartment is very affordable for 2 to 6 people.There is a security parking place in the Vaclavska garages, just 1 minute walk, where you can park you car for the low price.
Being in the center means that you'll be able to reach all the main sights by foot and choose from a number of restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood .The Saint Voytech Café offers good breakfast right around the corner, the famous brewery U Fleku offers its unique beer brand as well as Czech cuisine in the brewery restaurant ever since it has been established in 1492, or you can choose French, Italian or American cuisine, all without having to walk for more than 3 minutes.If you long for romantics, you can set off for a charming cruise on a steamboat or on a boat on the Vltava river.
You will definitely appreciate "Globe"- american internet café and bookstore nearby - helpful people, english newspapers, internet and espresso drinks, also have Prague maps and info books. Good breakfast as well.

  • Nice place to stay in Prague. As others have indicated, it is a very convenient location to transportation, all the sights, groceries, etc. There are several "un-touristy"restaurants within very short walking distance. Compared to the hotels I was considering, I think this was the right choice. The only odd item, is that after we checked in, we never heard from the owner again. Calls to the # we were left with went unanswered, so we just left the key in the apartment on departure. No big deal, just odd.

  • Fabulous location- walking distance to everything. Great area of the Old Town in SoNa. Excellent restaurants and cafes and bars nearby. Metro a 4 min walk, Tesco (for groceries) the same distabce. Tram and river a 1 minute walk. Building is wonderful- full of character. Nadia greeted us on arrival at the apartment (much appreciated) after her driver collected us from the train station. We highly recomend this apartment to all visitors to Prague.

  • We had a wonderful stay in this apartment in March 2008. It is in a wonderful location with restaurants and cafes just around the corner and is close to the river. A wonderful bakery is located on the corner. A metro stop and a Tesco market are about a 5 min walk. The neighborhood is quiet but so close to everything- its really a great balance. The apartment itself was perfect for our stay: it was clean and spacious and was the perfect place to come home to after a long day of sightseeing. Highly, highly recommended. We can't wait to come back!

  • We stayed in this flat in March 2008 and really enjoyed it. The location is superb, just a few minutes walk from all of the major sights in Prague and a couple blocks from a Tesco supermarket. The kitchen is really useful, we saved money by cooking several meals at home. The flat itself faces a courtyard and is very peaceful in the evenings. The city is gorgeous, we spent hours walking around absorbing the amazing architecture & history. One piece of advice: If you are arriving after dark it might be a good idea to take a taxi from the airport because the streets in the historic districts of Prague do not follow any type of grid pattern and can be confusing until you get the hang of it. We arrived during the day, took the metro, and didn't have any problem finding the place.

  • It's all about location. You right there, walking distance to all the great things Prague has to offer. Apartment is nice,comfortable,clean and very quiet so after the long day out you can sleep and in the morning you can visit great breakfest place right behind the corner towards the National theatre. For dinner try Dynamo restaurant few doors down from the house, awsome. We will be back for sure. Ivan and Mike

  • Rented in November, 2006. Fantastic apartment! Very clean and nicely furnished. Bathroom and kitchen updated and modern, while unit retains its older charm. Four blocks from a huge TESCO market, two clocks from nearest trolley, bakery on the corner, resturants all around. Unit faces courtyard, not street, so it's very quiet. Everything in the apartment is in good working order! The building is about 300 feet from an elementary school, so neighborhood is very safe and secure. The apartment is in a great location, so clean and comfortable, and a steal this price. Stay here...it's really very nice.

  • This is a great apartment at a terrific price. Well equipped kitchen. Complete bathroom. Sleeping for two with a loft for one or two kids. Located in the center with easy walking to all central Prague attractions. Very quiet street. There is a Tesco supermarket nearby. Don't miss eating at the Dynamo restaurant down the street. Would be a 1 star in Paris. Great Italian restuarant nearby. The landlady can arrange for cheap and reliable airport or rail transfers. Highest recommendations.

  • 25 may 2004, just arrived back in uk after 5 great days in Prague, A very nice Appartment was Ideal its location is excellent for seeing Prague and because of its location in the block it was very quiet and peaceful ,Great after a days site seeing, Would be very pleased to use this appartment again.
