Our Beach Front Studio Condominium is ideally located on the third floor, (third balcony from right) of the beautiful La Concha Condo Complex overlooking the pool and the amazing Bay of La Paz. All boats visiting the intriguing and historical City of La Paz pass just off-shore of our Condo deck and beach front location. Viewing the world famous La Paz sunset from the deck is a regular evening occurrence sure to provide cherished pictures and lifetime memories.
Our condominium offers you accommodations for up to four guests, but two would be very private and appealing. The studio Condo has one bathroom and a Cal King-size bed which can be separated from the dining room by vertical blinds. The dining room contains both a studio couch which pulls out to sleep two as well as a double level loft bunk bed set which sleeps two. A fully equipped kitchen provides all of the needed amenities and the extra freezer brings a smile to the face of the fisherman!
La Paz is a paradise for swimming, sunbathing, beachcombing, snorkeling, biking, exploring, and of course fishing. Jacque Cousteau aptly dubbed the Sea of Cortez the "world's aquarium" as sea life abounds. The Cortez Club which is located within the La Concha complex offers a full range of outdoor service activities such as snorkeling, scuba, kayaking, fishing, rentals, etc. You would not need to leave the property for anything as a quality restaurant with room service and two beach front bars can accommodate any of your food or drink interests.
The City of La Paz is the capital of the State of Baja California Sur (south), MX. and with a population of 200,000 plus residents it offers an unique opportunity to experience a truly authentic working Mexican City. The people of the "City of Peace" are the true key to the warm, friendly, and relaxing environment which pervades the region. La Paz is a full service city with supermarkets, numerous quality restaurants with both Mexican and American food and almost anything else that you might find in the US. The Malecon (Seaside Boardwalk that borders the Bay of La Paz) abounds with shops, restaurants and bars, but don't expect beggars or street vendors to disturb your visit.
Guests in the Condo are entitled to full use of the La Concha Resort, including room service, workout facilities, restaurant, Palapa Bar, and the Cortez Club 5-Star PADI dive shop and water sport center.

- Beachfront: As you can see from the pictures the Condo Complex is directly on the beach.
- Oceanfront: Your small boat (19-26 foot) can be anchored right in front of the Condo for use in the Bay - we do not advise going out to the islands without professional assistance. Water toys, skiing etc. are great in bay - even fishing!
- Communications
- Telephone: Phone goes through hotel switchboard. When others call you they first get the switchboard and then transferred to Condo. Many US cell phones work in LaPaz. Check with your provider.
- WiFi (Wireless Internet): Normally we can obtain a good signal near the entryway within the Condo. So far the connection is spotty on the deck.

- Condo has an extra one-half size freezer, which is very handy for the fishermen.

- Kid Friendly: We are kid friendly, but HOA rules state no children under 14. Exceptions would require special approval.

- Smoking Allowed: Smoking is permitted on the deck. It is always beautiful on the deck in LaPaz so no problem!

Why the Owner Chose La Paz
We purchased our Condo in 1994 when the building was new following several exploratory trips to Baja Sur. We love the excitement of Cabo, but La Paz was our choice for ownership. Unspoiled by tourist influences, La Paz retains it's natural Mexican ambience while offering all of the attractions of the more glitzy vacation destinations. The people of La Paz, (the City of Peace), are truly wonderful friends, warm and kind neighbors, and hospitality models for all!
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
We love to swim, boat and fish and our Condo provides all of that activity right at our door step! It is also fun to shop in La Paz, especially if you enjoy planning meals. The supermarkets, much like ours, but with so many new and different fresh foods are a joy to shop. Local markets also exist with fresh sea food, fruits,vegetables and bakery. If you are not into cooking, no problem as La Paz has lot's of great restaurants. In short, La Paz has it all from exciting new adventures to the peace and quiet relaxation we all crave at times!

Ron is retired from public education although he and wife Pat,continue to dabble in the restaurant business, while living in Iowa. We love Baja and the water has always been an attractor. Boating, diving, and fishing in the Sea of Cortez is always exciting and the climate is spectacular. With three son's, two daughter's -in-law and eleven year old twin grandson's, who now also love Baja, we try to schedule an annual summer vacation for all in our little piece of "paradise".
