Hale Kai - our large apartment has a private entrance, lush tropical lanai, charcoal grill, and outdoor patio set. A beautifully furnished living room, dining room, bedroom with queen-size bed, bath, full kitchen, a cable TV, VCR, DVD, stereo, CD player, Wired and Wi Fi Internet connections, some videos, books and games, and a fold-out couch/futon is adjacent to the dining room. The large second bedroom has a king-size bed and full bath, and a TV and VCR. Sleeps up to six.
We require a 20% deposit to confirm reservations, balance must be paid 45 days prior to arrival. We will need your arrival and departure times. It is very easy to find Hale Kai. There is a map on our website. Check-in time is 3 p.m. and check-out is 10 a.m.

We sure enjoyed our stay in Kailua. This rental was very nice and roomy for the 4 of us. Beds very comfortable and plenty of closet and drawer space. Lots of kitchen supplies. Peaceful and private lanai. Fresh flowers greeted us and the owners were very friendly. Beach is so close and convenient, but unfortunately the sea breeze does not reach the rooms, and by the afternoon it can get uncomfortably warm in the house. Stronger fans and/or air conditioning would be a big plus. I was dissappointed with the neighbors. They are living in a small part of their house that is only about 20 feet from the master bedroom and you can hear everything - including the dishwashing at 7 am and their loud voices at midnight. However, they are selling the house and this situation may change with new owners.
Owner response:The neighbors have moved and there is no one occupying the studio next door. All is peaceful and quiet.
