  This was our first time with VRBO and the Links Home was just wonderful! John and Shirley were so helpful when making reservations with them. We had the house for two nights, with 2 other couples. The three bedroom home was just perfect for us! Oh my, the house has everything in it! More kitchen items than I have in my own home. If you want to spend time at the Lake, they have beach chairs, beach towels, sand buckets, coolers, etc. Everything was in the home to have a wonderful stay. The home was very clean and well maintained. We loved using the FREE wi fi! We loved being able to use the BBQ grill and the deer were right off the deck. We enjoyed the relaxing evenings. The open floor plan of the home was just right to visit with everyone, and the bedrooms gave each our privacy! I wish that we had been able to stay more than 2 nights, but we were headed up to Lake Tahoe area. The Pine Mountain Lake area is so nice and wish we could have been able to enjoy what it has to offer. Groveland is a nice town and the grocery store had what we needed. About 30 minutes into Yosemite. My husband and I think it will be a great home to bring our two sons and daughter in laws in the coming year or two! Thank-you John and Shirley for your wonderful home and being such great hosts! We hope to be back again sometime. I'm sure if we rent again in the VRBO it will be hard for some to measure up to your standards! You have set the bar high for use in our expectations from other owners now!! :) Thank-you, thank-you!!

  Our stay the Links house was nicer than we expected. It was clean, quiet, and ample room for us. Was nice to come back to from Yosemity away form the crowd. The kitchen is very functional and well equipted. Pictures were accurate. There is plenty to do at Pine Mountain Lake (horseback riding, golfing, watersports) . The owner was very pleasent to talk to and work with in renting this property. I would recommend this home to anyone wanting a home like atmosphere near Yosemity. And yes... the deer do come near the deck AM and PM. Very calming.

  The Links House was the perfect place to stay for our Yosemite vacation. Our party of eight (4 adults and 4 children) were very comfortable. The house was very clean, well stocked and it had everything we needed. The drive to Yosemite from Groveland was easy and the views were breathtaking. I will not hesitate to choose this property for your getaway!

  Our family of seven (6 adults and 1 toddler) stayed here for two nights. The house was fully stocked with anything you would need. The surroundings were fabulous including the golf course, lake, & wild life. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this house to anyone!

  Our family of six stayed here for 4 nights. We traveled to Yosemite for the day which is a 1/2 hour to the park entrance and another 1/2 hour to the valley. It was nice to come back to a quiet house and relax after a busy day in Yosemite. The house was well stocked and met all our needs. We also swam at the lake and pool. Both are just a short distance from the house. We enjoyed watching all the deer on the golf course in the evenings. We counted 17 deer at one time!

  We stayed at the Links house for a three night visit while in the Yosemite area. It was the perfect place! We were only about an hour from Yosemite, which made it quite convenient. The community of Pine Mountain Lake has so much to offer though (beautiful lake with boat rentals and swimming, golf course, beaches), that we ended up taking a day off from the park to stay in the Pine Mountain Lake/Groveland area. It was the break we needed, and we were glad we didn't miss out on the area. The house is very spacious and yet quaint at the same time. It would comfortably fit 6-10, but we were just a party of two. Either way, it's a good fit. And, the deer did not disappoint...I think we saw more wildlife in the backyard than we did at Yosemite (birds, squirrels, deer). This was our first time in the area, and our first time using VRBO, and everything went extremely smoothly. We hope to return again soon with the rest of the family!

  We were two families (4 adults and 5 kids) .. and we were very comfortable in this house. John and Shirley have an excellent home with a well-stocked kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

  John and Shirley were extremely helpful, and gracious from the very first inquiry till the end of our trip. Upon entry into the Links home we all were in awe! The decor and warm inviting atmosphere made us feel instantly welcome. The pictures on VRBO only offer a mere glimpse into the beauty of the home and surroundings. We've rented several homes through VRBO in the past; the Links Home was by far the best kept and well provisioned. No detail was overlooked. I can't express enough upon how lovely it was to wake in the morning to see deer while enjoying breakfast, and then again at dinner time. The location of the home makes for a great staging point for all the available local activities. We enjoyed the lake, and rafting the Tuolumne with All Outdoors a short 15 minutes away. Our overall experience was perfect, if we return to the area we will definitely make this home our first choice. HIGHLY recommended! G&S

  My husband and I recently took some visitors from MA to this lovely home for a weekend in Yosemite. Everyone LOVED this house. It was clean, well equipped, and the back yard view was wonderful. The house was quiet and relaxing. There was a white deer in the backyard named Showball that was very friendly and allowed me to pet her. It was the highlight of my weekend. John & Shirley are very good about communicating. We hope to return again real soon. We highly recommend this home for a rental.

  We stayed in this place during 08/2010. I admit this is one of the great places to stay and our stay was very memorable! The house is very neat! and is very well equipped, be that the utensils, toys, videos, beddings, even the first aid kits!!! The location is very beautiful, we want to go there again and stay longer. Yosemite valley is not too far away from the site (about 1.25 hr drive depending upon conditions). Pine mountain lake is beautiful! Nice locality, good grocery store near by. We had a great experience staying in this place and want to do it again and again!!!
