CHARM GALORE: Tucked into the sunset shoreline of scenic Lancaster Lake, this charming split log cedar chalet is an idyllic getaway. The Lily Pad is a very "up-to-date" spacious cottage in a private setting sure to charm adults and kids, available all year. LOVELY!
OUTDOOR FUN: Watch (& hear) the Loons from your hammock overlooking the lake; or throw in a line off the dock; or launch the(2 person)kayak; or just lounge on the huge cedar deck!
Everyone will enjoy the private 200 FEET of SHORELINE on nearly 2 ACRES. Roast marshmallows over the huge rock & sand fire pit and enjoy outdoor dining on the large deck. Please help yourself to the large vegetable & herb garden during your visit! Perrenial flowers, too.
INTERIOR COMFORT: The cottage has an open floor plan for socializing and features 2 bedrooms on separate levels with private baths for each. The entire cabin is cedar lined, with maple flooring and comfortable seating. Full stone fireplace has a gas log for coziness! Numerous windows frame a wonderful view of this serene lake.
FISHING: Lancaster Lake is locally known as a year round fishing hotspot. Catch bass, pike, bluegill, croppy, rock bass, and sunfish. The dock is one of the best spots to throw in a line. The kids will get a bite nearly every time, and can watch the little fish in the shallows. Frog catching is also a favorite pastime! For boaters, the boat launch is only 5 minutes away.
BACK TO NATURE: Expect a week of fun in a natural, uninterrupted setting. Private, quiet, and yours to enjoy.... Flora & Fauna.
Lancaster Lake has been compared to "On Golden Pond". It has a natural shoreline (no seawalls here) and is 55 acres in size. The lake offers constant entertainment....whether you are wading, swimming, kayaking, bird watching, fishing, sunning, or stargazing! Enjoy the solitude.
EASY CENTRAL LOCATION: Only 2 miles west of I-75 assures access to all of northern Michigan!Lunch in Petoskey,dinner in Cross Village... or catch a ferry to Mackinac Island! We are close to Mackinaw City, Cheboygan, Indian River or Petoskey for day trips or any meals.
Nearby are video rentals, restaurant, convenience stores,& gas stops---just a few minutes away!
Boat Available: We can provide a 12' aluminum fishing boat with 6hp motor for $75 rental fee!

Your cabin is such a lovely place in all ways. I was completely stressed out when we arrived and completely blissful when we left. It was just right for my father and son too, who shared the upstairs bedroom. I loved the dishware in the kitchen and all the green, yellow and orange glass accents. So pretty. I left a comment.
