This South Shore attractively landscaped residence 2100 square feet (195 square meters) looks over Ritcey Cove at the mouth of the LaHave River as it flows into the Atlantic. It is 15 minutes from Lunenburg, 25 minutes from Bridgewater and minutes from several spectacular beaches. In addition to the beaches there are ocean fishing or whale watching trips and excellent golf courses in the area for your enjoyment. For more physical pursuits this area is a hikers' paradise; wooded and seaside trails are uncrowded and close by; start from your front door. Sailing, sea kayaking, surfing and diving are all available including courses for the beginner. Halifax city is one hour away and Halifax International Airport is one and a half hours away.
The main floor consists of a living room and dining room decorated with original extensive oak trim. Off the living room is a spacious main entrance foyer. Also on the main floor is a recently remodeled and tiled family room and kitchen which opens on to a back deck. The family room has a modern air tight wood stove. Off the kitchen is a side entrance to the house and a 2 piece bathroom.
The second floor has 3 bedrooms with 2 fully modernized bathrooms, one of which features a corner whirlpool bath.
The house is in prime condition and completely equipped for an active or relaxing Nova Scotia vacation. To keep in touch, phone, satellite TV and wireless internet are available.
This property is located in a small historic, maritime village which still supports Fishers. Residents are friendly with all ages represented. Lunenburg and Bridgewater boast excellent restaurants, museums and shopping . Antique auctions are a regular feature in the Province for those who like to hunt for unique treasures. All services, including two hospitals, are available and nearby.
