Polo Beach is an exclusive beachfront complex on one of Wailea's best swimming beaches, next to the Fairmont Kea Lani Hotel. The famous oceanfront walkway begins at Polo Beach and fronts the most prestigious resort hotels in Maui. Polo Beach Club is "the best."
This highly sought after second floor unit commands a gorgeous ocean view. Located on the north side of the building, it also enjoys lush tropical gardens and privacy. Newly redecorated, this unit features all new carpeting, window treatments, a state of the art flatscreen television, an oversized sectional sofa, and mostly all new furnishings throughout. The decor is an elegant "Tommy Bahama" feel - rich woods and bronze accents.
AVOID THE ELEVATORS - WALK DOWN ONE FLIGHT OF STAIRS TO THE SILKY SOFT SAND OF THE BEACH!
UNIT 207 - You can almost reach out and touch the sand with this dramatic "over the beach" view. Watch friends and family play in the surf.
The master bedroom suite enjoys a private bath and king size bed. The second bedroom features two twin beds which can be put together for a king bed. A full second bath is next to the second bedroom. The oversized sectional sofa in the living room also enjoys a pullout queen sleeper. Relax all day on the lanai's spacious stuffed lounger.
A fully stocked kitchen allows you to prepare and enjoy your meals in this special spot. Three gas grills are maintained by the Polo Beach staff and are an easy option for a great meal. Walk next door to the Kea Lani Fairmont Hotel. The Shops at Wailea are less than a mile as are all of Wailea's golf courses. We spent almost two weeks in this apartment, and it was great. Location cannot be beaten - it is literally two minutes down stairs to the fantastic beach. When the surf was up, we could hear and feel the waves pounding on the sand! Apartment was clean and well-equipped, especially the kitchen. Decor was somewhat old-fashioned (e.g. thick carpet) but comfortable. Good use of mirrors in the living room to take advantage of the gorgeous views. Beds and shower pressure are important to us - both were excellent. Staff on site were friendly and helpful. The free wireless internet was a wonderful bonus. We were a little concerned as the apartment was on the market while we were staying, but Jeanne was very responsive and just delightful to deal with. Highly recommended!

Thank you for the wonderful stay! We really appreciate your hospitality and responsiveness. The condo is perfect - perfect location, perfect setup. We loved sleeping with the patio door open and listening to the waves. The weather was amazing. We really appreciated how well-stocked the condo was: pantry basics, food storage, beach umbrella, even sand toys! We were very comfortable and delighted.

Everything about this property was beautiful...better than we expected. The unit was furnished so nicely -- everything was new and fresh. Most importantly, it was so clean - in fact it was spotless. We particularly enjoyed working with Jeanne, she was very accomodating to our questions and requests. The view from the lanai was breathtaking. We will definately be back for another visit and stay in 207 again.

Stayed in #207 which I booked through VRBO, listing 175324. The condo is on the 2nd floor corner with a drop-dead gorgeous view of the ocean with 2 perfect palm trees framing the semi-private beach. The condo was comfortable and well stocked with cooking utensils and beach stuff (chairs, beach mats, pails, umbrellas). If I could improve one thing it would be to put a pillowtop on the mattresses--they were hard and a little uncomfortable. There are turtles out by the rocks in front of the condo complex...so don't forget to rent equipment from Maui Dive Shops at The Shops at Wailea. You can return the equipment to a different Maui Dive Shop without problem. The pool is inviting but hey--you're in Wailea, so get in the ocean!! Kea Lani Hotel next door offers a free outrigger experience at select times--it's wonderful so take advantage of it--they will take you to the turtle wash area to do a little snorkeling with the turtles. My son, age 20, has made the beach at Polo Beach his screensaver. He insistes that if/ehen he returns to Maui, this is where he wants to be. One of the few times we are in total agreement.

We loved Wailea and the Polo Beach Club. The location was great, the beach was wonderful, the pool was nice, and the turtles a treat. Unit 207 had a lovely sunset view from the lanai. Beach chairs were provided. And we found a few sand toys in the closet which was nice. We never did find the beach towels. However, unit 207 could use some improvements. The beds in both bedrooms were hard and uncomfortable and the lighting throughout the condo was inadequate. I couldn't read a book unless I sat directly under a lamp. The towels in the bathrooms did not smell clean, so the first night we arrived I washed them. Having a washer and driver in the unit is convenient. It was the first time I went home from a vacation with clean cloths. A few suggestions would be to provide an alarm clock, provide staple items such as paper towels or napkins, and move the lamps in the bedrooms so a light turns on by the switch. The Polo Beach Club complex was clean, quiet, and well taken care of. Providing luggage and grocery carts in the garage is a great idea. We will definetly come back. However, next time we'll try another unit.

We also continue to update items as needed throughout the year. We live on island and take care in keeping the unit looking its best.
