Spectacular views. Very cozy house with everything you need to have a great family escape. My two young kids loved the yard and the provided puzzles. The owner was very easy to work with. Thank you!

We had a great stay. The house is beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking but we did take some of the recommendations in the book. We visited several of the restaurants and were not disappointed. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

This place was perfect for my needs of a relaxing place out of the city. The grounds are very well kept so the large acreage did not look sloppy at all. It was very comfortable to have lunch on the patio, watch movies in the evening (due to the rain) and ride bikes to the farmer market in town the next day. Rhinebeck is a very cute town that was easily accessible via commuter bike and quite roads. My small dog loved running around the property with plenty of land to explore. I would recommend this to any family who wants to get away!

This house is fantastic for a great weekend getaway. We stayed here with a group of friends and could not have been more please. The home is beautiful as well as the massive plot of land it is on. There is total privacy while staying at this house. The bedrooms are large and there is plenty of space to spend time with your family and friends. The property included a hot tub and a very nice television which I enjoyed very much. The owners are fantastic people and easy to work with. It is obvious from the second you step inside that they take great pride in their home and that they truly want to provide their guests with comfortable place to stay. I HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone looking to visit the Hudson Valley area.

We, a small group of six, rented this fabulous home for a long weekend to celebrate my birthday. It was a birthday I will never forget. The house was warm, inviting, filled with books (perfect for us bookworms!), snow-covered landscape, very intimate and overall, the perfect winter wonderland!! The hot tub was spectacular at night, even in the freezing temperatures, it was the perfect place to star gaze! Sara was the consummate hostess, even from afar. She made the entire rental process extremely pleasant and super simple! She was very accommodating and easy to reach the entire time. We were in heaven, doing nothing but eating, playing in the snow, relaxing by the fire and enjoying each other's company. Being a first-time renter, I would highly recommend this home as the perfect upstate getaway from busy city life. We cannot wait plan our next long weekend at this beautiful home!

Had a great month here! The house is truly comfortable, well maintained and has everything you could ask for. A great location, close to Rhinebeck, Red Hook and many wonderful activities. Private and quiet, but not too secluded. The property is amazing, my dog was in heaven!

I had a great time- the house was beautiful and felt very spacious, the kitchen is well equipped and easy to make great meals- and lots of seating. I loved the fireplace and hottub! There were tons of movies to watch on the flat screen tv (while sitting by the fire of course), and the bedding is the most comfortable I've experienced- felt like sleeping on a cloud. Lots of land and privacy, yet close to Rhinebeck- try Terrapin, a really good restaurant in town. Hospitality was great- I can't wait to come back.

Sara really went out of her way to make certain that her guests want for nothing. The house was impeccable and decorated beautifully. The gourmet kitchen was a joy to work in. There was an extensive book and DVD collection which made it even more enjoyable being by the fireplace. The surrounding scenery was absolutely breathtaking, especially viewed from the hot tub. All our needs were met the moment we walked through the door. This was the most relaxing weekend we've ever spent. As if the house and property weren't enough, the quaint town of Rhinebeck is simply adorable. It has all sorts of artsy stores and wonderful restaurants. We couldn't have asked for more; so we'll definitely be back often. Marsha and Andy

Just returned from a very relaxing stay here. Very private, quiet, serene, country setting with modern amenities. Sara has done a thorough, thoughtful job of anticipating your wants and needs. We enjoyed the super comfy king featherbed, the cozy livingroom fireplace and the indulgent back deck hot tub - which fired up in an instant on a 5 degree night! The entire home was very clean, perfectly maintained and smartly accessorized. Very nice furnishings and appliances. Absolute winner here. Enjoy!

What a joy!!! This is not a "typical" rental house. It's really a very comfortable home with lots of character & everything you need plus a wonderful collection of books, DVDs, & artwork from around the world. The kitchen is set up for folks who like to cook & includes good appliances & even a waffle iron (yum!). Five of us & a dog spent nearly a week there in January, 2009, & had a marvelous time...From the hot tub you can see thousands of stars. And the owner is special too..a loving, caring person who welcomed us from the moment we wrote to her. We will return. Thanks, Sara!

We had a wonderful time at this house for the week of New Years 2008. The kitchen was perfectly set up for lots of big meals with our friends. The hot tub and sledding made us never want to leave. And the beds are super comfy! Thanks so much!
