This "Ladies Retreat" has been quite an adventure. Never thought we were coming to a "Winter Wonder- land" We were lucky we stopped at Publix's on Sunday and we brought alot from home. It has been fun and beautiful with the snow. However food is gettin low. Hopefully we will make it out today. As usual the house is pretty and fits our requirements perfect. It's been years since I made s'mores, but building a fire in your firepit & roasting marshmellows with my grandboys is a memory I'll cherish forever. Thanks you for having this place that our family could come for a much needed respite - we relaxed, refreshed and rejuvenated! About the owner: Formally from Waycross, GA. Moved to Griffin, GA in 1963. Started selling real estate in 1971. Bought a vacation home in Highlands, NC in 2000. Sold it in 2004, and then bought 'The Roost' at Lake Oconee. I have had it on VRBO for about six years now and have thoroughly enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people. I currently live in Griffin and Greensboro and love this beautiful lake country!
