    • I just returned home from staying 4 days at this apartment in Rome. The location is outstanding as it is located very close to the entrance to the Vatican Museums. It is also about a 5-10 minute walk to CIPRO Station Metro A line. In addition, there are about three supermarkets nearby, a laundry facility (on parallel Via Tunisi) across from the Mercato Trionfale, a great place for fresh vegetalbles and fruits. There are also two internet cafes across the street and restaurants. In Rome you should try to stay close to a metro/bus station. The apartment itself is huge. The building is very nice and quiet. Upon arrival to the building you go up a set of stairs to the actual elevator, which can open either below/above the actual apartment level. This makes for another set of about 5-6 steps you need to account for. Couple of minuses: I definitely needed a washer/dryer available as I pack for half the time and do laundry midway. The apartment has no dryer and the washer is an old model, which we got working only after two hours of trying to figure it out. I ended up drying the clothes at a laundromat in Via Tunisi; very close distance, not a big deal after all, but you need to be forewarned and plan accordingly. There is no microwave. The bathroom is spotless and very nice. While it appears recently renovated the shower area did had some mold spots that could be probably eliminated quite easily. That said Jonathan received us very warmly and was very, very helpful and courteous. Overall, the apartment was spotless and and very comfortable. Some people may find it noisy in the mornings due to the traffic on Via Candia; I slept like a baby with the help of the ceiling fans that kept the rooms at very pleasant temps. I would certainly stay at this apartment again and have already recommended to friends and family. Tony is very pleasant to deal with; very responsive to emails and eager to answer every question and help out. I really, really like this place and would not hesitate at all to stay here again. We had a wonderful stay.

    • I stayed in this apartment with my 78 year old mother-in-law (her mom and dad were from Italy) in October 2008. The apartment was very nicely appointed. We went to the market just down the street everyday. We also went to the grocery store just 100 meters away and the many nearby resturants and cafes. If you are wanting to spend any time at the Vatican or nearby this is the apartment for you. Even though the apartment was great, the best part of our stay was the kindness of Toni and Alessia. Toni was so kind and generous. Alessia assured we enjoyed our stay. I will be renting from Toni when I return to Roma!!!
