Aloha! Our second home — a ground-floor, oceanfront, two-bedroom, two-bath condo — overlooks beautiful Wailua Bay on the Garden Isle of Kauai. From the lanai you look across the broad green lawn with its palm trees and tropical plantings to a natural sandy swimming beach.
A lava-rock-surrounded ocean pool is wave-free and perfect for children, tucked into this bay ideal for swimming, snorkeling, surfing and wind-surfing.
Lae Nani is one of Kauai’s finest Hawaiian resorts (not imitation Miami Beach). It boasts lush landscaped grounds (including an ancient Heiau, a Hawaiian Temple site), ocean and mountain views, glorious sunrises, a secluded beach, and a large resort pool.
Nearby activities include golf, surfing, kite surfing, kayaking/canoeing, shopping, dining and access to many miles of biking and walking paths.
The resort is ideally located one-block from the Coconut Market shopping center and near lovely Kapaa town on Kauai’s East Coast. It’s a short drive from the airport and midway between Kauai’s North Shore (Princeville, Hanalei and the end of the road and the hiking entry to the Napali Coast), and the South Shore towns of Koloa and Poipu, beyond which lies access to Waimea Canyon, the Grand Canyon of the Pacific.
It’s only moments from the best affordable golf on the island, the ocean side Wailua Public Golf Course. We love these island treasures and the spectacular Kauai natural scenery you’ve seen in more than 80 films, from South Pacific to Jurassic Park and Avatar. So will you.
Come visit Kauai once, as we did, and you’ll return again and again, as we have. Make our second home your vacation home. And please feel free to post your comments. Mahalo!

This condominium has many great aspects to it - location being the first: It is centrally located, making travel easy to both the northern and southern parts of Kauai. It is located a short stroll across a beautiful lawn to the breaking of waves and incredible sunrises and sunsets. It is located near restaurants and grocery stores, but far enough away to be serene. The other aspects include a very comfortable condo - well equipped kitchen, beautiful and very comfortable furniture, and equipment for days at the beach! The owners were very helpful, and we followed many of their recommendations that were recorded in the notebook. We were delighted to experience adventures that we would have otherwise not had not known about by just reading travel books! We hope to return to Kauai, Lae Nani and this condominium again!

Our group of four adult women really enjoyed our stay in this unit. After deciding to stay at Lae Nani we considered many units and are so happy that we selected this one. The location of the unit within the complex was ideal for us. Sitting on the lanai and enjoying the unobstructed ocean view was fabulous, and being able to walk from the lanai across the soft grass to the beach was wonderful. We were able to park close to the unit and the unit is close, but not too close, to the laundry room (which has a paperback book exchange). The unit was clean, comfortable, spacious and well-equipped. The owner was helpful and easy to work with. We appreciated and relied on the information and recommendations on beaches and restaurants in a notebook provided in the unit by the owner. This vacation rental exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this unit and hope to have an opportunity to stay here again.

My husband, 13-month-old son and I stayed here for a week in March. The property does not disappoint. The condo itself was roomy and comfortable, and was an easy walk to several great restaurants, shops, grocery stores, trails and beaches. It was an easy drive North and South, though we particularly enjoyed North Kauai. The huge and immaculate grassy lawn was perfect for our toddler who we could watch from the lanai. He loved the pool and the beach right in front of the condo. I was so happy we chose this condo on the ground floor, in a quiet area of the resort. My only critiques are that this area is busier than I expected since I'd heard so much about how quiet Kauai is. But when traveling with a family with convenience in mind, you really couldn't ask for more.

Having dreamed of visiting Hawai’i, the pictures of our dreams came into focus as we entered the property at Lae Nani. The breathtaking colors of the landscaping carried on into the living area of this lovely condo. We spent a week here, enjoying the views of the ocean and the beautiful grounds from the lanai. There are especially nice morning sunrise views from the beach area where you might see monk seals or even spot whales if you visit during the winter. The condo is very well maintained and is appointed with all the necessities to make your visit comfortable. With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, it is ideal for either a small family or two couples. Dining and shops are within walking distance and it’s only a short drive to golf and other activities. We would happily recommend this condo to friends and family.

We spent two weeks in this property and loved every minute of it. It's very central so access to the rest of island was great and the private beach meant swimming whenever you felt like. I'd highly recommend the spot for a family or small group.

We have been visiting Kauai for the last 25 years and can say without a doubt that this is one of the best locations on the island. The resort is on a small private sandy bay surrounded by a well manicured lawn and palm trees. The view from the lania allows you to absorb it all. Kite surfers find the adjoining Wialua bay as a perfect venue and will regularly appear to entertain you. The Lae Nani resort is a very safe and friendly place. Condo is spacious and well maintained and is perfect for preparing meals along with the poolside BBQ's. Proud owner is very friendly and responsive. We realized long ago that Kapaa area is the ideal location on Kauai. Close to the Airport and central to visits which you must make to both the north and south in ortder to appreciate the beauty and diversity of the island. Nearby is the Wialua river which is perfect for a day's kayacking trip which we did with our kids when they were in thier teens. Lydgate park is right next door and and is now a perfect venue for us and the grandkids. Just north of Kapaa is our favourite beach for boogie bording. Kapaa also has some great restaurants with several within walking distance from the resort.

My husband and I stayed here with friends in mid-February and had a wonderful time! The property is beautiful, and we loved being able to walk out the patio, across the lawn to the beach. It is obvious that the property is well run and cared for. The condo is in a nice location and had a wonderful view. It was comfortably appointed and clean. We felt right at home there. Being centrally located proved to be ideal for visiting different points of interest around Kauai. We enjoyed many local restaurants as well as preparing meals at the condo too. We met many nice "neighbors" during our staying. We look forward to a return visit!

My wife and I just spent a great week here. The fourth week of January the weather was excellent. The site is very nice. Very close by, (an easy 10-15 minute walk), to some good restaurants and shopping. Both Kapaa and Lihue are within a 15-25 minute drive. The grounds are extremely well kept. Grounds crew was visible nearly every day taking care of the landscape. By day it is 2 minutes from the patio off the back of the unit to a cozy little beach and surfing area and by night it is just far enough off the main road to be very quiet and peaceful. All in all, a very enjoyable week.
